• Jeewan (8/5): Good size room for the price we pay staff were reallly nice and friendly. - Good value of money The hot wave getting in from the door to Terrence makes whole room feel warm AC was not enough to get the room cool. If the door is not in use it needs to be sealed properly to maintain the temperature inside the room.

Großzügige Zimmer mit gemütlichem Bett. Ruhige Nebenstraße in Sanur, fußläufig zum Strand und diversen Restaurants. Wir haben mehrfach verlängert und auch vor dem Abflug wieder hier übernachtet. Kein Frühstück verfügbar. Pool teilweise verdreckt mit Blättern und Erde, dennoch gut nutzbar und mit klarem Wasser.

• Jennifer (8/5): amazing! only flaw is car accessibility - Ive stayed here two different occasions because the staff is excellent (10/10), the entire place feels brand new, there is a very nice shared kitchen with microwave. great wifi and AC. pool is clean and beautiful. the ONLY flaw, which unfortunately will alter me from staying at times when my chronic illnesses are flaring, is that many cars cannot fit into the tiny road that leads to the entrance. bikes 100%. but my experience with cars is that 30% of the time, they refuse to go in. as a person with disabilities this made travel difficult

• Alicia (9/5): Nice new modern place in Sanur! - Nice staff, beautiful place, it's still new, which is hard to find in Sanur, so there so no mold, no bad odors. Very good price and value ratio. Good common area : shared kitchen, dining, fridge. The Suite rooms are super spacious and with a lot of light from both sides. Overall nice place and we will come back! The floor of room was sticky/dirty, uncomfortable to walk bearfoot. The room was too hot, the AC device in the Suite room doesn't have enough capacity to cool the whole suite. So even with the AC at 16 celcius x 24 hours a day the room is too hot. Not too confortable with car access, the street is very narrow and tight to turn with other car there, note we have a small car suzuki Ignis, my husband scratched the car, but overall parking is doable if you are a skilled driver.

• S (6/5): Redelijk - Het zwembad, en het bed waren heel goed. Na een kleine geluidsoverlast na 22:00 uur werd dit goed opgelost door het personeel. De badkamer had een nare lucht. Schimmel en geen schonen voegen. De douchekop straal is alles behalve recht en kan ook niet versteld worden. De liggen is niet heel centraal een taxi is wel nodig om wat te zien van Sanur. De airco maakt een raar geluid wat onprettig was om mee te slapen. Families komen bij een in de lobby waardoor je enorme last kan ervaren en niet rustig een boek kan lezen. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is dit het niet waard

Für den geringen Preis waren wir wirklich positiv überrascht, was für ein schönes, modernes und sauberes Zimmer wir erhalten haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Personal hat für uns auch einen Fahrer zum Flughafen organisiert. -

Als je er met twee personen verblijft heb je echt meer dan genoeg ruimte. Het bed is ook ruim en comfortabel. Er zijn twee balkons. Groot balkon bevindt zich recht boven het zwembad en heeft twee comfortable fauteuils. Andere balkon is klein en meer bedoeld om de was te drogen. Zitbank, eettafel, mini koelkast, goed werkende airco en hele grote TV zijn pluspunten. Je wordt elke ochtend (nog voor 7.00 uur) wakker gemaakt door herrie in de hal en de trappenhuis dat galmt door de hele accomodatie.

• Erny (6/5): the stay was okay, staff are friendly. room - the room is big and bed is comfortable, the kitchen and pool area helps to make the stay more pleasant. the sewage smell in the bathroom sink and toilet, lack of amenities in the room for eg. hairdryer and extra pillows. the road is very narrow for car to drive to the front door.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The driveway into the hotel was too narrow. Many drivers couldn't drive in to pick up clients, and if they dared to drive in, getting out was a challenge.

Very quiet at night. The property is on the other side of the bypass. Not far to walk to top end of town but you need to cross very busy road. No lift so need to carry bags up quite a few stair if your room not at ground level, staff will assist.

• Ksenia (9/5): Superb - The cleanest property in Bali I’ve seen in the last 4 years 🩷. No bad smells. Well equipped. Nothing to complain about. The only thing would be „architecture-wise“ that other guests have to pass the own „balcony“ to get into their room. So you have to keep the curtains closed in daytime if you want privacy. And me personally I prefer a bit more green at least at the pool area for a more natural feeling.

Firstly we were given a room with a broken air conditioner. Then, we were moved to a room on the third floor, where we constantly smelled and heard bats living on the roof. During our seven-day stay, the room was never cleaned. In the last three days, the pool turned green.

I liked the layout of the building and the kitchen was well stocked. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. The drying rack area in the back actually dried your clothes as well because the heat from the water heater was blasting on it. A close 20 minute walk over to the beach and Night Market and restaurants. I wish the pool would've had a shallow area. it was all about 5' deep with only 2 small steps to enter into.

The communal kitchen area was clean and a nice addition to be able to make home cooked meals and not have to eat out every night We loved everything!

Cleanliness of the kitchen utensils very much dependant on the previous user. Noise from other guests disturbed the night rest. No food to be had from the local shops before 10:00.

• Anna (1/5): Daily toxic air quality in rooms, badly built and managed - The property was reasonably new - if badly built and already breaking down - floor to ceiling cracks in walls, gaps in ceilings near walls, letting insects, hot air and rain in, doors and toilets that are faulty in some rooms, zero soundproofing, mold already breaking through near floors and doorframes. The suite is quite spacious and bright. The kitchen is coolish, as there's a draft. When the pool is able to be used, it's quite nice. It's unsuitable for children, though, as it's deep throughout, and kids' noise isn't allowed. There's a decent amount of hot water and shower pressure. The beds are quite new and big. It is in a pretty quiet location but lacks soundproofing, a very badly slamming front door (the whole building shakes) and loud noises from neighbours - the furniture is very heavy with extremely loud legs (as elsewhere in Bali, this is not remedied with felt under them to help be quieter in a tiled room, so you hear everything - and neighbours like to, of course, use their balcony armchairs or dining table and chairs), The young, all male on-site staff try very hard to make up for the management company's shortcomings and the property's problems. While some have less fluent English, they overall manage to create a pleasant atmosphere. They are pretty helpful without being in your face and do also seem to have pretty modern attitudes. Staying here is a serious health risk. Toxic indoor air quality, soot film on all surfaces from daily, extensive rubbish burns next door, and big gaps under all doors, making it hard to try seal off from the intense smoke from outside. The burns were so bad at times that the air purifier showed toxic air quality for up to 4 hrs - indoors with all doors closed and attempted sealed with towels. No management on-site.. Instead, no one who takes responsibility and daily changing and misleading input from reservations company re prices, cleaning, rubbish burning etc. Reservations team tried pawning all responsibility off on young staff on site after giving misleading and false information and refused to give management details, instead claiming the cleaning and reception staff were responsible. Thankfully, these guys were champs in trying to sort things. (Although some really struggled cleaning properly - but that was understandable given the sheer level of soot coating everywhere.) Kelaya is a modern take on a traditional homestay - very poorly executed with the lack of ownership/ management on site. As it is, it's like a new, badly built and managed hostel - with more than just teething problems that no one is fixing reliably. Steer clear and stay somewhere that has the charm and hospitality of a real homestay or the professionalism, reliability and quality of a hotel. This has neither. Other problems are overflowing toilets, lack of kitchenware (1 saucepot for 19 rooms, for example, and basics completely missing. Like kitchen cloths, toaster, oven etc). . Poor building quality leading to breaking walls, slightly moldy walls and doorframes, overflowing toilets, loud echoing noises from above, below etc. Then there's the gaps where ceilings meet walls, meaning light, rain and insects get in.. the result: air con struggling against influx of hot air and moths nesting in suite.
