• Helm (7/5): Moderate but overpriced - Location was perfect , next to the station. Didn’t think it represented good value for money. Room was just ok, didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel room quite basic, no drawers. Breakfast service was poor, coffee and breakfast items not replenished had to keep asking for coffee, burnt bacon. Breakfast dishes not cleared away. Again, not the service expected in a 4 star hotel.

• Caroline (3/5): Bien trop surcoté pour un 4 étoile . Ne vaut pas son prix . - Bon emplacement . Facile à trouver . La chambre intemporelle est minuscule . Je me demande comment est la gamme en dessous car déjà la l’espace était restreint. La salle de bains minuscule . le rideau occultant laisse passer la lumière comme s’il n’y en avait pas . La clim va trop fort et se remet en route la nuit alors qu’on l’a éteinte .

La chambre est très confortable et silencieuse. Le petit dej est top La mise à disposition de bouteilles d’eau et d’une fontaine est vraiment un gros plus.

Die Parkplätze in der Nähe sind sehr teuer, da sie in der Innenstadt liegen. Die Parkhäuser in der Stadt sind nur für Autos bis 1,90 m geeignet.

Die Damen an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich. Die Temperatur im Zimmer ist für mitteleuropäische Verhältnisse etwas kühler. Durch die Feuchtigkeit der Luft empfindet man die Temperatur etwas unangenehm. Die jungen Damen am Frühstück leicht überfordert.

We were travelling through France on the way to the Alps and we always have a stop over, we have stayed in lots of different towns and cities in France and decided we would try Reims this time. Unfdue to traffic chaos at Folkestone we were delayed as we usually like to get to the place we are ataying with time to explore and get out and about. By the time we got here it was early evening. The underground parking is literally accessed on the street the hotel is located on and you pop out at street level on the avenue with loads of restaurants and the hotel right there. I don't get the reviews complainting about the parking, we have a very large Suv and we managed no problem! It was easy peasy and perfectly located for this hotel! Check in was efficient and friendly and the hotel reception has a good feel about it. We booked the intimate room amd we were allocated one on the 2nd floor and it was cosy but perfect for one night, the bed was comfy, the room clean, the bathroom clean and modern. The soundproofing was good, we didnt hear much at all from outside all night. We decided to go to the bar for a drink and unwind after our long delayed journey before heading out to find somewhere to eat. The drinks menu was very good, I had a great cocktail. It was a comfortable place to sit and chat. We had a look at their menu and it was very good so realised that we didn't need to go out as this hotel provided everything we needed and were looking for after a long day. They gave us a great table in the window to watch the world go by, the wine was good and the food was really good. Quality food made really well. The people who worked in the bar and restaurant were friendly, kind and provided great service. This is a great hotel, well located and offers everything a hotel should really well.

La décoration de l'hôtel en périodes de fêtes était magnifique. La vue était imprenable. Ne buvant pas de café, j'aurais apprécié des sachets de thé à disposition. Il faisait froid dans la grand salle de bain.

• Mark (10/5): Lovely, friendly, luxurious stay in a great location - Room was spacious and quiet, very nice bathroom, comfy bed. Breakfast was very good with an omelette bar (a bit unusual in Europe) and coffee to order. Nothing really. Our room didn't have a fridge but we set the bottle of white wine on the ledge behind the metal grate to cool it. Problem solved.

The staff were extremely helpful and efficient in responding to emails and helping us organise our stay. We loved our new years eve dinner and were very grateful for their help in booking us a table. Our room was short on space, but we only booked a standard room, so if we were to plan another trip I would choose a slightly larger room.

Capuccino de piètre qualité, choix de victualles limité et surtout des mini-viennoiseries indignes de la France, le pays du croissant. J'ai un doute sur le pain que je pense précuit. Dommage quand on connait la réputation des belles boulangeries Rémoises comme celle des Halles juste à coté de la Place d'Erlon...
