Guest Reviews
- Laura (7/5): Pleasant but overpriced - Great location and tidy Misleading advertising as it was a room connected to a house which was not disclosed. No sink (other than the bathroom) to wash dishes which was expected of us as guests. Pretty expensive for one night
- Officer (9/5): -
- Victoria (10/5): - Lage, sauber billige Gartensessel als Innenausstattung, Teppichboden, kalt
- Doug (1/5): Disappointing. - False advertising was not a one bedroom. Kitchen had no sink for washing up. Only one towel and no face washer provided. Bed was very small. Insufficient kitchen supplies - no sharp knives, no bowl etc. Very basic in all respects. Expected more at this price point!
- Karen (7/5): - Comfortable Was expensive for 1 night
- Melanie (8/5): - A nice clean facility Kitchen facilities were limited. No sink other than the bathroom to wash crockery.
Quite a cramped room generally.

- Miguel (8/5): - Good apartment overall, well equiped and maintained, very clean Neighbours next door making a lot of noise until midnight.
The apartment would benefit from 1 or 2 comfortable armchairs to relax instead of plastic chairs
- Genevieve (8/5): overall the place was so nice, great value for the money - the place was clean and very tidy.the location was so ideal as it was near town. i loved that it has an allocated parking space as well. the noise in the neighbouring place was heard in the studio😞
- Latonio (10/5): -
- Daniel (4/5): Location was good for us - Location was great for us Woken up by other people staying in the other part of the house, rented separately to our room! Powerboard didn’t work so could only use one appliance at once. When front sensor light was activated, flashed on and off for at least ten minutes. This happened multiple times during the night
- Ready (10/5): Couples retreat - Very Cosy and clean with all the essentials and close to where we wanted to be A little noisy from the neighbors 😊 but nothing to concern us
- Anna (4/5): Disappointing - Perfect location No spare blankets. Very cold room . No way to cook food
- Jorjia (7/5): Great location, good value for money will be staying again. - Very clean, tidy and good value for money The lodge next door were very loud. Luckily they stopped at about 10:30, but still quite distracting. They also parked in our parking spot. We were asked to clean the dishes but were not provided with a dish brush, and had to clean dishes in bathroom.
- Pusey (7/5): Good -
- Thi (9/5): Superb - The place is clean and compact.
- Gary (9/5): Superb - didn't have breakfast
- Grainne (6/5): Pleasant - It was clean It was extremely difficult to access the key. The listing was misleading as it turned out to be an ensuite room built onto a private house. We were expected to wash all dishes and remove all rubbish and recycling. Failure to do so would result in a $50 penalty. None of this was made clear prior to booking. The bed was small - a double
- Zara (10/5): Exceptional -
- M (9/5): Great short stay - It was clean and comfy. NA
- Manpreet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Inwood (8/5): Very good -
- Alayna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ezra (7/5): Good -
- Mike (8/5): A great stop over location, beautiful scenery. - Location and very comfortable No cooking facilities
- Patsy (7/5): Good - Modern and clean No kitchen sink when advertised as kitchenette.
- New (8/5): Very good -
- Anton (9/5): Superb -
- Ben (2/5): Very poor -
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (5/5): Passable - It wasa nice room I feel the booking wasn't completely upfront with it being a granny flay connected to a house with other guests staying. They were loud and had no way of blocking out the sound. The room was also very stuffy with no active cooling in the room.
- Kerrie (1/5): Bad - It was in Tekapo The price.
One sink
Shared walls with very noisy neighbours...large group
- Nicole (8/5): Very good - Easy location for two people just needing a place to stay. Enjoyed it! No tap in little kitchenette but was no issue
- Sam (3/5): Nice location but very noisy due to paper thin walls - Location was good The walls are paper thin, so we were kept awake for hours by the noisy family in the other part of the building
- Taine (7/5): Good -
- Martin (7/5): Good stay as per my expectations -
- Patricia (8/5): Sink in kitchen.plumbing is back to back bathroom easy - Sink in thesink
- David (8/5): Ok but would not stay there again. - Very quiet location Only 1 plug for 4 appliances is lazy architecture but suspect the space was never designed for a food preparation space…No sink in the place where the cutlery etc was. This space looked like a wardrobe that has been converted into another space. I guess the expectation was to wash up in the bathroom basin which is not ideal. I just left dirty dishes.
- Emmanuel (4/5): Disappointed with the people who live there - Complete and Nice The owner/peolple living there were too loud. They were inconsiderate. They were too loud late at night as well as early in the morning.
- Williams (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jules (4/5): Unwelcoming facilities. - Location was good.
Easy access.
The unit had parking. Not enough plugs for all the appliances in the kitchenette.
No tap or sink in kitchenette.
No milk in frig for a cup of tea.
Only one hot chocolate sachet for two people.
Bathroom - There was no bathmat which would have made the very cold tiles able to be walked on.
- Kiranjeet (10/5): Best best and best - Cleaning, sevice and location was great. A couple came within minutes when we asked for baby cot. I was really happy. Thank you for making our trip even better . Loved easy internet access and tv channel access May be a little milk and cereals. But amount of money we paid it's not a complaint
- Coral (7/5): Good - Clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a short stay. Check in process was seamless, even though we booked last minute The studio is one of the front rooms of a larger house. We were not aware of this and while it does have a private entrance, the rest of the house was occupied during our stay and it was very noisy
- Bhavinkumar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (6/5): Pleasant - Good location very clean No sink in kitchenette, had to full jug from bathroom and do dishes in bathroom.un hygienic. Bed was rock hard.very noisy with people in unit beside it
- Wendy (5/5): After visiting fabulous Tekapo many times; a working kitchenette is necessary for breakfast. - The unit has an excellent location. good carparking, and good heating. This unit is divided from the main house. Unfortunately without sound-proofing, the sound travels too easily between the units. When the other unit ran water, our shower went completely cold. With only 2 power points; we had to transfer a multi-box from the bed to run the fridge, jug and micro-wave. There was no sink, so washing up had to be done in the bathroom with no bench space. I found this unhygienic. FYI; the towel rail is wobbly and not connected to the wall at top left.
- Cathryn (6/5): Good for the 1 night I wanted. Would stay again but pricey for what it was. - Had to call for lock box key combination which was easy but was not instructed to do so. Bedding was inadequate for winter so woke up cold and had to put heater on. Heating in bathroom as good as non existent. Sink for dishes was the bathroom sink. Not really a kitchen but was fine for my purpose. The only cooking facility was a microwave.
- Delwyn (8/5): Everything was fine for the price. -
- Jcb (5/5): Unit was very basic and kitchenette lacked quite a bit of stuff needed to eat and cook - Mix up with the keys, confusion as to which unit was which, keys supplied opened all the doors. No instructions as to which unit was which. Had to switch units mid stay. Mix up with the keys, confusion as to which unit was which, keys supplied opened all the doors. No instructions as to which unit was which. Had to switch units mid stay.
- Tom (7/5): Overpriced for what it offers - No sink in the kitchen and no dishwash liquid so couldn't wash dishes.
Could hear neighbours through the walls clearly,
No smoke detectors
Haven't received bond back.
Was charged for the accommodation days in advance when I wasn't supposed to be charged until the day.
All in all was a little lacklustre however it was satisfactory. Probably would stay elsewhere next time
- Khan (4/5): Disappointing - Freezing cold.. small heater provided wasn’t good enough and the bed was really hard
- Andrea (8/5): Great place to stay for a solo traveler or a couple. Would look to update the listing as it reads like there is two beds - Great for solo travellers or a couple. Listing states two beds however there is only one. Not having a sink in the kitchenette is inconvenient
- Beverley (7/5): Good - Location good.N/A breakfast. There were no drinking glasses or teaspoons just 2 knives/forks/spoons plates, hardly the basics. An electric blanket in an area which is covered in snow at present would be a good idea. We were asked to do our dishes and there's no kitchen sink, it's not very hygienic to do dishes in the bathroom sink. Maybe leave a bowl for dirty dishes if no sink available. As for 3% credit card charge, that's just greedy, 1 1/2 to 2 is just about acceptable but not 3.
