Centrally located to all the things to do in the area. The view is not all that amazing as looking at a berm in the lava field but we were not there for the view :) & knew this based on pictures when we booked.

• Mirabella (5/5): Nice location, but not value for money: not clean and a filthy and noisy overflow - Great location near to all highlights in Myvatn. Nice living room, but no lights in the kitchen, because it dit not work as a lot did not. Very small fridge with so much ice into it, we could not fit our small cool elements. Its a great appartment but not taken good care off :( We had a code to the keybox of our house. But the other guests staying next to us did not. It took really hours to contact the host to let them in :( :( :( The kitchen of the house and every surface was sticky and not cleaned. Also a very strong smell and sound came from the closet in which was an overflow of the heating system, which made a lot of filthy deposits there. This also made al lot of noise, a zooming sound at night. And furhtermore: you can really hear the neighbours! Walls are practically not insulated. Sounds carry from talking, going to the bathroom, moving chairs. You really do not want to hear this, paying so much money :(
• peter (8/5): Nice and enjoyable stay - Nice place and quite well equipped, comfortable bed and shower. The clothes washer cum dryer was very helpful came in very handy as well. Kitchen was generally well equipped. 1. There was no contact number given other than the email. I tried to ask a question prior to arrival but did not get a response from the email. 2. When we arrived I realised that the arrival info missed out the combination lock number for the house key and we were stranded outside the house for quite a while unable to get in cos there was no phone number to call. 3. There isn’t a freezer in the fridge, which was a bit of a problem when we bought some ice cream and frozen stuff for our few days stay. Would have been great to have some salt and sugar in the kitchen.

• Matej (10/5): Perfect stay for a family for more nights to explore the Myvatn area - Nice quiet location in the nature and close to many interesting places. Very comfortable and spacious. Just two points for improvement: The lights outside that can’t be turned off are practical when you are locating the place in the dark, but vertical impractical when you want to observe northern lights. There seems to be a lot of unused hot water flowing away. That would for sure keep two hot tubs warm which would enhance the stay:)

• Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfy and well equipped modern space, super clean. Host was very responsive and was quick to check on us after a big power outage. The location is a ways down an unpaved road but totally worth it to just step outside and see the northern lights. 2 in 1 washer and dryer was very nice. Smaller load will go fine on its own, larger loads will require more dry time but very convenient to start a load before going about our day and not have to worry about switching machines.
• Annette (9/5): Plenty of room in Myvatn - This 3 bedroom apartment was modern, bright and airy with some outdoor space to enjoy. It was thoughtfully decorated and comfortably furnished. It was located away from main roads but close to many of the local attractions. The kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped for cooking meals. The beds were really comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and a pleasure to use. The washer/dryer was greatly appreciated! The road to the apartment is dirt/gravel and very bumpy.
