• Marina (10/5): Excellent stay! - The property is beautiful, so nicely finished. Great sized bedroom, excellent amenities. And I just want to add that the property owner was fantastic. We were travelling 6 hours here to attend a family wedding, and our original accommodation cancelled on us as we arrived at it! The owner of this property was so helpful in letting us book last minute, checked in that everything was ok, and extremely helpful. We are so grateful as we were very stuck! Would highly recommend this property. Nothing.

• Susan (4/5): - Location was excellent for our needs but the road at front was exceptionally noisy It was filthy sofa had food down it the rug under table hadn't been vacuumed there were hair in all corners of bathroom such a shame we would have used this place regularly

• Martin (10/5): Exceptional in every way. - Incredible value for a whole house, with all amenities provided. Clean, spacious (the upstairs rooms are a lot less pokey than the photos on here suggest), and with one of the best showers any of us had ever experienced during a weekend stay. Cheap to get an Uber to the centre for a group of 5. Was a little difficult to navigate to when using Google Maps: search for Rawdon Library instead, and you'll be right outside the property.

• Jennifer (9/5): One of the best most convenient properties we’ve stayed in thanks! - Beautiful house, clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Great location, very convenient parking, and very responsive host To make it even better a little information folder with Wi-Fi code, what to do with rubbish/ recycling etc would be helpful, and hooks for wet towels upstairs.

• Jane (10/5): Great place to stay - A lovely comfortable and clean place to stay,walking distance to pubs and restaurants also on bus route to several places if not wanting to use your car. We couldn't get the television to work, so our host Neil came round and had a look when he couldn't sort it he asked if he could send an engineer round who fixed it for us. Very friendly and efficient,we would definitely use Micklefield Lodge again if we return to the area. Nothing
