• Lisa (8/5): Sehr saubere, einfache Unterkunft mit überaus netten und zuvorkommenden Inhabern - empfehlenswert! - Manolis hat sich direkt nach der Buchung gemeldet. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Er und seine Mutter waren zu jederzeit ansprechbar, freundlich, zuvorkommend und unterstützend. Auch bei Nachfragen haben sie sofort reagiert und haben uns beispielsweise den Weg zur Unterkunft gezeigt, da sie mit dem Auto etwas schwierig zu erreichen war (kleinere Gassen und Einbahnstraßen - nichts für große Autos!). Die Schlüsselübergabe für das Apartment erfolgte persönlich. Die Unterkunft ist sehr nah am Strand von Agia Pelagia (Fußweg 2min), den Tavernen, Restaurants, Supermärkten und einem großen öffentlichen Parkplatz. Das Haus hat einen schönen Garten und ist ebenerdig. Unser Apartment Nr 5 war auf zwei Ebenen: Wohn- und Küchenbereich und Bad unten, Schlafbereich oben. Ausgestattet war das Apartment mit Tisch, Stühlen, Kühlschrank, zwei Herdplatten, etwas Küchenutensilien, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Safe, einem Sofa, TV, Klimaanlage, Wäscheständer (alles unten) und Betten, Nachttische, Schreibtisch, Spiegel und Schrank (oben) - also grundliegende Dinge. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und sauber. Besonders herauszuheben ist, dass das Apartment sehr sauber war. Es wurde nicht nur regelmäßig geputzt, sondern auch Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt und der Müll entnommen. Über den Zustand der Klimaanlage, des WiFi und des TV können wir nicht urteilen, da wir diese nicht genutzt haben. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und danken Manolis und seine Mutter für alles. Im Großen und Ganzen stimmten die Beschreibungen mit den Fotos überein. Die Helligkeit des Apartments auf den Fotos entsprach nicht der Realität, da die eine Seite unseres Apartments auf eine andere sehr nahe Hauswand zeigte (Apartments zeigen zu unterschiedlichen Seiten). Daher nutzten wir die Terrasse auch nicht. Das Bad ist wirklich sehr klein und auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aufgrund der Größe des Badezimmers gab es leider wenig Ablagefläche. Die Küchenutensilien sind ein bisschen zu wenig. Es ist ein wenig hellhörig: Lärmempfindliche Personen und für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf würden wir es nicht empfehlen, da Türen leider sich nur lauter schließen lassen. Uns hat es aber nicht so sehr gestört. Wir wurden leider sehr von Moskitos zerstochen - dafür können aber die Besitzer nichts. Es hat etwas mit der Umgebung zu tun.
• Charlotte (10/5): Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt, Wohnung und Lage sind der Hammer - Die Wohnung ist sauber und gemütlich! Der kleine Garten vor dem Haus ist toll und der Strand liegt quasi direkt vor der Tür. Manolis ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist sehr auf das nötigste reduziert, Dinge wie Salz und Pfeffer oder ein Schwamm wären gut gewesen.

• Victoria (9/5): Nice appartement in the best location - I had a very good stay at Joanna Apartments. The owner are nice and the location is unbeatable. I was even allowed to eat the pomegrenades from the garden which I loved. The shower takes a while to get hot but when it does its very nice. There is not much space in the shower though but thats ok. Its also a little bit noisy and I could here the neighbours a bit even with the windows closed. But thats the only thing really. Everythingelse was perfect and I would recommend staying here. You wont find anything better for this price and this value!
• Liam (9/5): Great stay at a lovely property - Lovely stay with the hosts. Our kids really loved the layout of the apartment. We didn't have any issues with wifi. It's a very short walk to the beach, and plenty of restaurants etc around nearby.

• Ben (9/5): Comfortable beach apartments with generous host and perfect location. - The location is perfect, the design of the apartment is thoughtful and has all you need, and the host was very kind and accommodating. We’ve stayed at places with better mosquito control, and the doors are very loud when they close.

A cozy apartment with everything you need, a lovely little garden on the territory where you can have dinner, extremely attentive and friendly owners, just a 1-minute walk to the sea, an air conditioner that cools the room in three minutes, and regular cleaning with fresh bed linen and towels. Joanna Apartments became a pleasant part of our journey! Before arriving, we had some concerns about the air conditioning and mosquitoes, but everything turned out perfectly fine! • Evelin (7/5): Great location and good value for price for a week - The owners are very welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions. The apartment is spacious for 2 people and the bed was very cozy. The beach is only 2min walk so super easy to reach, that‘s why we booked it in the first place and because the photos were lovely. There are a lot of stores and supermarkets nearby and if you have a little car (we had a Skoda Citigo), it fits into the tiny narrow road around the apartment and we were allowed to park in the garden. The AC works very well. About Agia Pelagio: its a nice and calm beach (the bay is nicely wind-safe), lots of sealife: octopus, squids, firefish, sea urchins, etc. Great running opportunities around. The sand chairs on the beach cost 10€ with umbrella, but people take them probably first thing in the morning and you got to hunt for these things 😅 We got an apartment on the „back“ side (=not street side) which meant, that our balcony was facing (literally blocked by) the next house directly, there was no view whatsoever other than the white brick wall 1m away. This was misleading on Booking as none of the photos mention this. We hoped for a room switch but the street rooms were all taken. So we put out the chairs to the little back path to see some sun in the morning. Due to the position of the apartment, there is very little daylight and we had to have the lamps on all the time. Although we stayed for 6 nights (considering previous reviews here I would say thats a longer stay), there was no cleaning utensils in the kitchen (like sponge or liquid). Upon asking, they came the next day. But still, you‘d expect that.

• aneta (9/5): Pobyt udany, wycieczki, które zorganizowaliśmy na własną rękę to rewelacja - Seitan oraz Preveli. - Apartament w dobrej lokalizacji, w centrum, blisko sklepy, plaża publiczna, apteka.Do innych plaż dojście pieszo bez problemu. Właściciel pomocny, polecił nam wypożyczalnię aut, w której pracuje Polka. Właściciele dbają o czystość. Komary mogą udręczyć wczasowiczów. Na drugi dzień kupiliśmy preparaty do kontaktów, które skutecznie odstraszały komary.
• Iryna (10/5): Overall, this place is perfect for travelers who don’t plan to stay indoors all day but rather want to enjoy the sea and - I can definitely recommend these apartments as the best value for money! The host, Manolis, was always available and responsive. He provided detailed information about the best routes from the airport and helped organize the return transfer. The ride was very comfortable — a clean, air-conditioned car with a punctual and polite driver. I wish I could leave him a separate positive review here! As for the apartment: I had a single occupancy in a two-level unit. Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen (fridge, kettle, electric stove, toaster, coffee maker, set of dishes), air conditioning, a small terrace with a drying rack and a table with chairs. My windows faced a lovely neighboring hotel with beautiful greenery — highly recommend this view. Upper floor: a bedroom with two single beds. Note that there are stairs leading to the bedroom, which may be important for some guests. A couple of suggestions to make the stay even better: A hairdryer would be a great addition (maybe available upon request, but I didn’t ask as my friends had their own), It would also be helpful to include a sponge and dishwashing liquid in the kitchen — a small detail, but it can help guests keep kitchen clean.

• Nikita (10/5): Comfy and cozy - These cozy apartments you will definitely enjoy during your stay. They are equipped with all of things you might need, they are very well located, you have just 2 minutes walk to the beach and all of bars and restaurants. If you there by a car there is a parking place just nearby (free if you park late haha), let me warn you that you can't really drive just to the apartments by car even Google maps say you. A balcony was my favourite place to chill after the day, sad that we haven't try a yard but let's keep it for the next time as I'll definitely come back:) Showering makes the bathroom wet as the curtains there don't really work, there are always puddles after. It is also a limited amount of power sockets near beds so take your power strip and you will be fine, this actually a good recommendation even if you stay in five star super expensive hotels. I imagine it might be difficult for someone to go to bathroom during a night because of a stairway.
• Maximilian (10/5): Great Hosts! Very Clean! Can definately recommend a stay :) - The Hosts are really kind and helpful! The location is great, beach is 1 minute by foot. The Room is equipped with everything you need! If you wanted to, you could even cook there. Would definately recommend it if you are searching for an uncomplicated stay! Room was very clean and tidy!

Joanna and her son helped me with the information about Heraklion, Knossos etc. Super cute accomodation :) Mosquitos can be really annoying, a net on windows would help. I aksed for a additional repellent, and got it, so it helped.

Plenty of space for 1-2 people. Apartment cleaned daily. Excellent WiFi. Quick access from the front and rear of the apartment. Cosy private area with seating and a table out the back door. Very nice and friendly hosts. Could have done with an extra towel or two. Hot water didn't seem to work from the kitchen tap. Only a toaster and a hob in the kitchen. A microwave would have been useful to help with the self catering lifestyle.

• Eszter (8/5): Very good - It was a lovely apartman, everything was so so close, such as shops, restaurants, though the apartman is located in a really quiet street. The owner lady was helpful and it was not a problem that we arrived in the middle of the night. This accomodation is highly clean. I can recommend it! Just one thing. I chosed a double bed apartman (we are a couple), but in the room there were two single beds, which were built in the floor, so we could not move them. But it was not a huge problem, we could relax and had enough space.

• Md (10/5): Highly recommended - The hosts were extra ordinary hospitable, We reached there 1:30 AM, and the hosts were still waiting for us to welcome and handed over key with a smile. The room orientation was a true Creten house orientation where you get the flavor of living in Greek way. We were four , cooked , slept without any problems. Kids loved the place as there was enough green space for them to play. The roads around the apartment were no entry for vehicles which is a plus for kids, 3 min walk to the Beach with waves, available supermarkets and loads of resutaurants to try, and nearby safe parking.
