Guest Reviews

- Danni (9/5): Great location, great time with family, would book it again - Comfortable, well equipped, amazing shower, warm, great location. Everything we needed No dishwasher tablets
- Arlene (9/5): - Really lovely cottage, clean, warm and cosy with comfortable beds. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Great location to explore Argyle with lovely walks on your doorstep. Nothing.
- Patricia (10/5): - Everything. A true gem of a place to stay. This was our 2nd visit and it did not disappoint

- Patricia (10/5): Chapleton Cottage - Everything. An outstanding little gem of a place. Clean, very comfortable and like a home from home. Exceeded our expectations. We loved it and will definitely be back 😊 Nothing
- Margaret (10/5): The cottage was clean and cosy. Brilliant location and a lovely welcome pack to give us a nice start to our holiday. - Location Didn’t have a separate shower unit and climbing into bath to get a show r was rather difficult with an arthritic hip. Otherwise, the cottage was lovely.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Couldn't fault it at all location excellent for traveling around the area
- Robert (10/5): Fantastic cottage providing everything you need plus a few treats in a lovely location - Fantastic location
- Norman (9/5): Well equipped and cosy cottage retreat. - Good location, very well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, they left us some fizz, bread, chocolates, milk eggs, plus all basic cooking items provided (oil, condiments, some sachets of tea, coffee & sugar), and good supply of dishwasher tablets, Fairy, toilet rolls etc. Good wifi. Good quality bed linen and towels. Friendly housekeeper. Local shop/petrol station very good, local post office/shop very poor. Parking right outside. No local visitor tourist information provided, lack of instructions for Sky/TV (confusing if not used to Sky), radiators were difficult to understand and get right, and we had to Google how to use the induction hob. Sky TV signal was unreliable; there were some TV Apps and DVDs, but sometimes basic TV was not available. Bottle shelf in fridge door was half broken, so had to be very careful when trying to use it for a bottle of milk. There were no wardrobes, just hanging clothes on the backs of doors. The lovely summer house to the rear was locked, which would have been nice to use on the sunny but cool evenings. No 2-pin shaver point, so take a 2-pin adapter.
- Ame (8/5): A great cosy cottage to base ourselves in for a long weekend. - We really enjoyed our stay in a quiet and beautiful location. The house and kitchen was well equipped and we would recommend to friends. It was a great base to explore further afield too. It was a great stay overall but we did feel it could have been a little more thoroughly cleaned. Aside from this we really were very pleased with our stay.
- Juliet (9/5): A lovely peaceful place to have a relaxing break with lots to do if you choose to explore - House is in an amazing location and has everything you could possibly need and is very high spec, spotless and very comfortable. The hosts very kindly left us milk, eggs and bread which were very welcome after a long drive - plus a bottle of Cava and chocolates which was a really nice touch. The cottage was a great base for exploring the area. The views from the front of cottage are wonderful. cant think of anything
- Ryan (10/5): We will be back! - Beautiful modern (interior) cottage, perfect for our family of four. Alongside Loch Fyne, scenic drives and not too far from Loch Lomond for river cruises and family activities. Fully recommend, Inverney castle is a must visit too! 😁
- Campbell (9/5): Superb -
- Moira (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, all amenities of home, very modern but with character, great location, lovely welcome gifts. Best holiday cottage I've stayed in. The sofa situation wasn't very comfortable for 4.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Nothing - host extremely welcoming.....Thank you
- Ingrid (9/5): Wonderful - The location by the loch, cosiness and open plan layout downstairs. A 10 minute walk from The Creggans Inn and the Bay cottage tearoom/shop/post office is just across the road, so handy if it is pouring with rain!
- Sue (10/5): A beautiful well equipped cottage in a stunning location. - beautiful decor and stunning location.
welcome basket much appreciated nothing but other visitors need to be aware of midge season.
there is a small freezer compartment in the fridge.
there was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

- John (9/5): Superb -
- Kairene (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely and cosy little cottage !
- Colin (8/5): Very well appointed and conveniently placed for us to access the surrounding Corbett hills. - Welcome pack items of bread, milk etc. Very good kitchen. Wifi and SmartTV. View across and down the loch. Good little shop and tearoom only 200m away. Did not have much time at the house but would have liked to get to grips with the heating to reduce it a bit as was warmer than we're used to!
- Shirley (10/5): Had a great holiday with plenty of places to go. - Everything was great. The house was very clean and welcoming. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the welcome pack. N/A
- Nicola (10/5): LOVED IT - Beautiful location. Cozy cottage. Immaculately clean, well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds. Lovely welcome pack. Can't think of anything
- Jennisa (10/5): i love everything, the kitchen, the bath, the room, the view, especially the host! Lorna is friendly and helpful :) - the view is so pretty, not far from shop and walking path can hear the truck driving in early at the morning. but if you go walking early, it wont bother you.
