- PJMags2012 (10/5): - The location, safe parking, fantastic layout inside with load of space for our two children ages 1 and 3 years old. They loved it and were so safe! Absolutely loved the walk in shower! We didn't dislike anything. Absolutely love four stay.
- Michelle (4/5): Not for me! - Great location When we got there it became clear this was not the whole house as depicted in the pictures, its misleading. It's a downstairs contained apartment within this house. No views like in the advert. Nice enough decor and owner gave lots of advice re the area etc which was good. Welcome box was empty! Anywhere i have stayed has always put at least a pint of milk in the fridge! But not that important i suppose! We had food with us and had to wash all the cups, plates and cutlery before use as it didn't look very clean. Broken wine glass and knife had to be removed and set aside. Double bedroom didn't have a window and was very dark (not the end of the world) beds were comfortable and first night was grand. 2nd night we tried to light the stove about 8pm, but it wouldn't light so we just left it. At 4.20am the carbon monoxide alarm sounded. We had to open doors and windows and try to reset it but were too scared to go back to sleep. Possibly the fire smouldered but can't be sure what set it off. It was battery operated and owner suggested he was on the same system, but it was stand alone/portable so not sure about that. We left early next morning and as a courtesy we stripped the beds. Wish we hadn't. Stains on the pillows and especially the 2 quilts used were disturbing. Owner confirmed he would speak to the cleaner but I pointed out it was hardly the cleaner who supplied quilts? Owner initially didn't respond when I messaged about the alarm sounding but did when I asked again. Bit dramatic but people have died in the same situation and I am at least thankful there was an alarm to alert us. Would I stay again? Absolutely not!

- Colin (9/5): CC and Dingles Adventure - Great location with walking distance to Waterfoot village where bars and convenience stores are located. The beautiful sandy Waterfoot beach is on your doorstep and is a great walk to clear your head. Good base to explore the Glen's and North Antrim coast. Spacious apartment with comfortable beds and great heat from the oil central heating and the use of a cosy wood burner also. Pet friendly which was a great plus for me. Safe off street parking. Straight forward checking in and host was in contact via email should any problems have arisen. Enjoyed my stay.
- Amanda (8/5): - Excellent location and spacious rooms. Good communication on check in. Stove in front room was very toasty. Good heating throughout Ground floor apartment of a large house.I only knew this from reading other reviews before arriving so wasnt shocked. It could be doing with a heat resistant glove to open and close the stove fire when lit but will definitely return as we had a great time

- barry (10/5): Great house, great location, great stay 👍 - Great location with the beach a stone throw away and glenariff park not to far away as well.
Waterfoot/glenariff is a lovely wee village and we'll definitely be back. Everything was perfect..there's nothing we didn't like..
- gordon (10/5): Great family friendly location, right on the beach - Right on the beach and perfect for exploring the Glens of Antrim area
- Mary (7/5): Quiet and awesome location - Awesome location. Nice and quiet. Clean and great telly. Welcome box was almost empty. A little more thought would have been a nice touch.
- Ann (8/5): Excellent location and v spacious accommodation perfect for kids or people with mobility issues - Location was amazing! It was perfect for our little kiddies! They really enjoyed the evening strolls to beach and playground. We thoroughly enjoyed out holiday More toilet roll ha!

- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -

- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (10/5): Lovely beach stay - Location was perfect to move around the area and so close to the beach. The entire place was spotless and had so many things to offer. The host was excellent in providing information. Would return again. Nothing
- Alice (9/5): Superb - Great location. No view but at 2min from the beach and 10min from the waterfalls and Glennariff forest walking trails. A small shop in the village too. Only one big saucepan to cook for 5 was not enough.
- Roisin (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place right by the beach! Beautiful- loads of space- everything we needed!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - It was really close to the beach and the village. Loads of space in the house
- Jo (7/5): Fabulous location, wasn’t aware that it was a ground floor apartment so quite dark - Fabulous location, right next to the path down to the beach.
Cushendun and Cushendall close by with good facilities and pubs.
Wi-Fi strong so able to work remotely. TV with all the streaming services available.
Plenty of sofas and comfortable bedding. Double room very dark as no window which meant we slept very well.
Garden space nice and dog friendly was a bonus for us. Ground floor apartment which meant it was very dark and quite cold inside even when warm and sunny outside. Some garden furniture would be nice to be able to enjoy the outside space.
No view at all but also not overlooked by neighbours.
A refresh of the decor would smarten it up as seemed a little worn in places.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nigel (10/5): Super relaxing - It’s a beautiful, spacious home ideal to getaway and relax. Waterfoot beach is right beside which was super for our dog. There was nothing I didn’t like about this property.
- Val (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Enjoying peace in the glens - Warm, comfortable, and very clean.... everything needed seemed quite new.... plenty of space with two large living rooms.... ideal situation for a relaxing break right in the middle of the glens... excellent restaurants close by and really reasonable prices... Nothing apparent...
- Ray (9/5): Beautiful location. Perfect for the family and dog. - The location was beautiful. Great shower and it was lovely and warm. Only one bathroom
- Pól (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely accommodation and a great location.
- Vanessa (9/5): Superb - Lovely location and apartment comfortable for 6 of us . Very clean and great communication from Michael. We will return again
- Lyons (10/5): My happy place. - Convienency, comfort and peace and quiet eventhough just off main street. Michael was quick to address questions regarding heating and entry to the property.
Mariners and Saffron pubs, friendly cosy and so friendly. Laragh Lodge restaurant was excellent. Break was restful, peacful, slow, and just what we were looking for. I am very familiar with the area due to childhood holidays and regular trips to a previous holiday home owned by family. Just love this area with its views, walks and friendly people. Would be great for families, home from home with lots of space. Will definitely be back. Well done Michael.😀
- Patricia (9/5): This was a comfy and spacious home base for our trip. - We really appreciated the spacious kitchen and dining area, as we were five adults in town for a wedding (just a five minute drive from here). The location was so handy: a very short walk to the shop, the cafe, and two pubs, plus access to the beach from the path just alongside the house. You have your privacy but also quick support from the property owner. We even got to see some Northern Lights from the back patio! This isn’t even a negative of the property - and in fact it’s an example of the very good owner. Our first morning the shower flooded the floor of the bathroom (the drain seemed too slow to keep up with the flow, these things happen). The owner responded right away and was able to fix it while we were out. We had no troubles other than this!
- Harshitb (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very comfortable stay with all the essentials in place. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is also great and very close to the beach and a scenic coastal drive.
- Pauline (9/5): Excellent location within a stones throw of a beautiful beach and boardwalk. - Excellent location within a stones throw of a beautiful beach and boardwalk and was a really peaceful setting. The apartment is very spacious and well laid out and catered for our family perfectly. Maybe a few more towels and some spare bedding would be a helpful, we were a family of 5 with 3 young children so there were a lot of baths/showers after the beach!
- Nicola (8/5): Lovely big flat - The flat was great - nice and big and in a great location very near the beautiful beach and at the foot of the glen. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with.
- Bruno (10/5): Exceptional - It was a wonderful experience. The house is very spacious, clean, and modernly furnished, and it's close to the beach. The host was super friendly. We have nothing to complain about and will definitely return.
- Jane (10/5): Absolutely fantastic stay. - Everything in the apartment was lovely so clean and tidy and the kitchen/living room with the wood burning stove was lovely in the evening time. Everything we needed was close by the beach and the shops. The only thing missing was a wee patio set outside other than that it was perfect and we will be booking again. Nothing everything was perfect.
- Steen (10/5): Great flat, great location - Great spacious flat. Amazing proximity to the beach (literally 1 or 2 mins walk), great for our dogs. Nothing
- Paul (7/5): Appreciated allowing us to use your accommodation as it was good for us and the dogs. Cheers, Paul - Very convenient to where we needed to go to Michael, thanks for allowing us to use your facility. Just wanted to advise you that there may be a leak under the bathroom sink. When we opened the cupboard underneath the sink it was very wet and the spare toilet roll saturated. We dried the shelf but you might want to check if the leak needs attention. Other than that we had no issues. Paul.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (7/5): Great location for a family break - Location to beach Not enough towels - 5 people & 4 towels luckily we brought a few with us
- Seosi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (5/5): Passable - Location was fantastic. Two large tvs. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen gas stove leaked so that we had to turn off the gas bottle and were unable to cook with gas for the remainder of our stay. Michael was clearly aware of a faulty tap on the stove but had not done anything to repair the fault and we were not warned.
Also towels provided were tiny and in poor condition.
- Edel (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely couldn't be happier with the accommodation beautiful apartment very spacious in a fabulous location, beach right beside us which was perfect for my dog, close enough to all the main attractions and the views just wow 😍🏞 Only thing I could say I didn't like was the security for my dog he had to be on a long leash in the garden the whole time a gate would have been perfect at the property but other than date perfect 👌
- Natasha (10/5): Wonderful stay, in a beautiful place with everything right on the door step. Will definitely be back - Location was fantastic for beach and village, a 2 minute walk to both. Lovely quiet and very well equipped apartment, everything you needed was provided for. Nothing, everything was superb for us 🙂 cheers to Michael for having a lovely apartment and allowing us to stay. 🙂
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - So close to beach was perfect and space for my teen and dog for footy
- Rajiv (8/5): Very comfortable stay, excellent host! - Spacious, good kitchen facilities, main road location , good heating facilities No full-length mirror, no sea view!
- Faye (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - The appt was very private, great parking short distance to the sea & cafe, shop, bar in the village.
No stairs which was great.
- Kirsty (10/5): Wholesome few days enjoyed with my family in exactly the right place we had hoped for. - How close it was to the beach the living space was perfect for a family trip Nothing
- Lydia (10/5): Great location would definitely stay again -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, amenities close by, log burner was a welcome addition.
Beach literally behind the house.
Dog friendly.
House was clean, well equipped with WiFi, smart TV and good size tv's throughout the house.
Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.
We really enjoyed our stay, there's a nice forest walk close by and the beach is lovely too.
We were also lucky with the weather (as much as you can be in April)
I would recommend this property if you need somewhere to stay for a couple or few days.
We intend on returning later in the year. There weren't any complaints from my party (4 adults and 2 children)
Kids loved having the big tv and room all to themselves.
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (10/5): Red Bay Beach House - The beach house is very well equipped, the wood burning fire was so cosy and the kitchen delightful.
It is in a beautiful location, so close to the beach and is also tranquil yet not isolated.
I strongly recommend a visit. We will definitely book again .
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet peaceful. Nothing
- Jonathan (10/5): Fantastic property, great location and exceptional view's. - Location and area was exceptional, host's communication and direction was good, property was spacious, clean and very comfortable with everything we needed and more.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - It was very private, lovely & quiet & good parking. The house was very comfortable & warm great location. It got cold quickly
- Deepak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anniek (6/5): Nice location - nice shower - bedroom without window and cleanliness standards below par - Location - 1 to 2 min walk to the beach and in a village walking distance from shop and pub with live music (drinks only)
Great shower! The house was NOT clean. There were lots of hairs on the bed (it seemed like dog hair) and felt dirty to sleep in. There are 2 bedrooms - one bedroom has a window with difficult to close Venetian blinds - the other bedroom does not have a window. It is a closed box without air. The appartement is large and has 3 TV’s - and 2 living area’s - a bedroom could have easily been made in one of the living areas with natural light. The provided towels did not seem clean. In addition there was a only a very dirty sponge to do the dishes with.
- Mags (8/5): Very good -
- Conor (9/5): Superb - Safe parking, quick and easy access to a nice beach (2 min walk), very well suited for families with well behaved dogs.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Memorable couple of days in beautiful location, bonus being dog friendly - We loved everything about the property, house had everything necessary for a family holiday, few minutes walk to beautiful beach, shop, chippy and friendly pubs a five minute walk. Ten minute to drive to Harry;s restaurant inn Cushendall. Half hour drive to Ballycastle. We would love to have stayed longer and will definitely return. N/A
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great. Quiet and onlyna minutes walk from a beautiful beach
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (9/5): Despite the dislikes, I had a really good time and would be better prepared if decide to come back. - Perfect location close to beach and glens of Antrim. All rooms on ground floor and walk-in shower was a bonus due to our disabilities and everything you could ask for in a holiday home. Being dog friendly property was great; however garden isn’t enclosed and has no gates on driveway leading to a busy road which I was not prepared for meaning my dog had to be constantly supervised with no ability to run free until I bought a long rope which was still very restricting. The property only had blinds in terrace bedroom which did not close properly meaning awaking at sunrise. Curtains would be beneficial. it was mostly clean but a bit dusty with a few cobwebs. I only communicated with owners by message and never met them at any time of our stay, so can’t comment on what they are like. It wasn’t clear on description of accommodation, that it is part of main house and was a little confusing to find entrance.
- Jamie-lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelsey (8/5): Very good - It was beautiful and location is fabulous. Host was super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend
