• Zoe (10/5): Cozy luxury stay - perfect for family or friends to stay - We stayed in the spacious, well-decorated (both inside and outsite), clean, and full-equipped two-bedroom suite. Every room including living room has large windows with ocean view. Love the amenities they offer (Yumejin products, local natural skincare brand). Excellent location - only few mins walk to the famous Heart Rock Beach. This is one of the best BnB-style we've ever stayed! None - we planned to stay here for few more days next time

• Leila (7/5): - It’s a big property and has everything you need I felt a bit deceived as the photos show a nice ocean view although there was scaffolding blocking the whole view. I booked this specifically for the nice view so felt really disappointed. I reached out to them and never heard back which made me a bit more upset. Refer to my attached photos to see what I mean.

• Ramstrom (4/5): Regretted this stay. - The accommodations were beautiful and matched the photos, which we appreciated. Breakfast was delivered in the morning and nicely presented. I enjoyed it, though my kids (11 and 14) weren’t too interested, so it felt more suited for adults. The accommodations were fine, but the main issue was transparency. The pre-arrival message explained the amenities, including that the sauna and cold plunge cost 4,800 yen per person (about $32.44) and were 14+ only. That should have been communicated before booking, since it was the reason I chose this place. I was disappointed my youngest couldn’t join, but I accepted the fee without issue. Driving on the island can cause delays, and I appreciated the host helping us navigate after we arrived late around 4 p.m. Still, check-in felt rushed and nothing was said about not being able to use the sauna. Only after I asked how to pay was I told over message that reservations had to be made before 5 p.m.—something never mentioned earlier. Why wasn’t this explained at check-in? When I tried to work with the host, they simply didn’t care. Even though slots were open and charges go on your credit card, I was refused. The property is set in a more natural, somewhat remote area, which means you do encounter spiders and bugs around the grounds. This wasn’t a big problem for us, but it’s something to be aware of if that might bother you. This was the one regret of our trip. Overall, for the price, I don’t feel the experience or hosting matched expectations. There are more affordable options in Okinawa that are clearer about what’s included and make more effort to support their guests. We chose not to extend our stay and booked somewhere else instead.

• Takayo (10/5): 大自然の中のオシャレな家 - 宿泊したのは「珊瑚」でとてもオシャレなインテリア。スーツケースが大きかったのでしょっ中イスとテーブルを移動する羽目にはなりましたが、それ以外は大自然に囲まれた家に帰った感覚で非常にリラックス出来ました。 キッチン付きコンドミニアムで、基本的な調味料が無料で借りれるのはとても便利でした。洗濯機も洗剤が用意されていたので買わずに済みます。ハートロックまでも(少し藪の中を歩く様ですが)徒歩で行け、朝の誰もいないビーチを独り占め。夕日を見にまた行く事も容易でした。 スタッフの方々もゴミ回収など気にかけて下さり親切です。 特にありません。

Sauna facility is excellent, book and pay then enjoy for the night. Highly recommend this place. Very friendly staff 😊

• Mark_ph (7/5): Double room: quite good overall, but not without some caveats - Location is great for the price. It is indeed quite remote with only a few other villas nearby. It was really quiet - other rooms / cottages were not occupied during our stay. The tiny double room is located in the main building, next to the small shared space (inside and outside). Larger rooms are actually small cottages, which seemed much more attractive yet pricier. Self check-in was possible after normal check-in hours. Ok, there are 3 reasons to remove 3 out of 10 stars for this place: 1. The bed is short. It is roughly 180cm long and as it is also quite narrow, this may be a huge problem for some. For us it was just inconvenient. 2. The staff is virtually non-existent. We saw a guy in the main building once, he asked us if there were any problems and that was it. He disappeared by the check-out time and we never saw him again. 3. One of the pillows really required a good cleaning. It smelled! And of course there were only 2 pillows in total in the room. Things like this happen sometimes, I wouldn't even put it into the review, but the staff never responded to us via messages on booking.com, when we told them about it. A simple "excuse me" and a promise to fix this obvious oversight proved to be too much for them. Be cautious that the standard double room is tiny. This is not obvious from the pictures. It is kind of compensated by the shared facilities next door, but something to keep in mind.

• Aroun (8/5): It was good. The staff was very friendly and provide you information you need to know. - The location is right next to the Heart Rock beach. Nice view from the ocean. It’s very clean with the very nice kitchen. It’s a separate island, so there is no convenient store nor super market and even restaurants are limited. If you love cooking, you can go to super market in the main island which is around 12km

• Kit (10/5): Home away from home - The apartment is not big, but definitely great value for money. The facilities are all really high standard and we were surprised to find a cooker and a projector for entertainment! It's got all the facilities you will need, as if you are home. Kimie is really generous with the amenities. It is a home away from home on the lovely island of Kouri. It is perfect but will be even better if there are instructions on how to use the facilities in English as they are really high tech. The view is amazing too Nothing!

The facility is set in a very peaceful area at the island's extremity, in a parallel world as if. The room was super clean and provided with everything for cooking and laundry. I should have stayed more than one night — I'll stay again in the future for sure.
