We will be back to see the garden in full bloom. - The cottage was amazing, beautifully furnished and decorated, wonderful cosy bed , beautiful hot shower and a lovely kitchen area. The garden was amazing and Storm loved exploring. Rachel was a lovely host, lovely welcome pack and treats and blankets for Storm. Wow!!!!!!!!! There was absolutely nothing not to like about. Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!

It had 2 French doors onto a beautiful walled garden with fruit trees & raised beds filled with flowers herbs & veg. It was tranquil & relaxing & we hugely enjoyed our stay there. Rachel is a warm welcoming host.

• Dionne (10/5): A peaceful relaxing stay at at Dragonfly cottage….A little gem 👍 - Self catering Dragonfly cottage was “perfect” in every aspect. The accommodation was finished to a very high spec! Everything you needed had been provided for. Lovely comfy bed, nice bed linen and soft towels. A lovely touch from the host who had provided a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, still and sparkling water, milk, tea and coffee. The garden was beautiful, very private and secure if you had a dog with you. Definitely recommend this property if your staying in Christchurch and want to explore the surrounding area. Nothing
• David (10/5): A very special place to stay - Dragonfly Cottage is a peaceful, quiet oasis near to Christchurch, Dorset. We used the cottage for three-nights whilst house hunting in the area and will definitely use it again. The cottage enjoys the privacy of a beautiful walled garden with sun loungers, table, chairs for al fresco dining, weather permitting. Inside the cottage is decorated to a very high standard and the fixtures and fittings are of superior quality. Despite being a small, open plan design it is a proper home from home. The hosts Rachel and Les (who built the cottage) are helpful and welcoming. All in all a fantastic property. Absolutely nothing. Everything you will need is in the property and it is well located for any Dorset attractions.

• Matt (10/5): An incredibly tranquil stay that we would recommend to anyone with or without a dog! - We had a perfect stay in Dragonfly Cottage. It was like an oasis and it felt like we could stay for so much longer. The cottage was immaculate from top to bottom with decor that was impressive in every way. Every small detail had been thought out and it felt very homely. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the space and it was very secure for him. Rachel was a welcoming and wonderful host who made us feel comfortable - we will definitely be coming back to this hidden gem! Nothing!

• Kerry (10/5): The perfect little break away - Location was perfect to visit Christchurch which has a beautiful harbour and sandy beaches. and coastal walks Also close to Bournemouth and The New Forest. We ate at a lovely restaurant and pub close by. The property was absolutely stunning. Furnished and decorated to an exceptional standard with beautiful decor and lots of attention to detail. The walled garden provided a safe space for our dog and we enjoyed relaxing in it with the complimentary bottle of wine we received. We highly recommend Dragonfly cottage. There was nothing we disliked about our stay.

We forgot to bring our air fryer and found one in cupboard. Will definitely return and wished we stayed longer. Very tastefully decorated and well thought out. 10/10 It’s all perfect
• Wendy (10/5): Absolutely perfect. - The cottage is so peaceful, just birdsong during the day and silence at night. My dog was in her element exploring the beautiful completely secure walled garden which is so sheltered that even though it was March I was able to enjoy breakfast outside in the morning sunshine. Inside is beautifully designed and decorated and the whole place just has a really lovely feel to it, I felt at home and completely relaxed, so much so that I had to force myself to go out and explore the local area which has so much to offer that you could stay for a fortnight and still not see it all. Les and Rachel were just lovely, really welcoming and helpful hosts. Thankyou for making my 60th birthday treat so special. Xx Couldn’t fault it.

Highly recommend a walk to Hengistbury Head (stunning views), and visits to Stourhead House, Kingston Lacy, Russell Cotes Museum (Bournemouth), Shaftesbury and Stonehenge. No local eateries or restaurants.
