- rebecca (10/5): - Fantastic property!
really enjoyed our stay, exceeded our expectations, especially the impressive dining room which was perfect for a large group
Photographs don’t do it justice! The only downside to the property is the lack of outside space, but totally understandable due to its town centre location. Beautiful coastal path walks directly from the property make up for this

- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional. Beautiful. Perfect. - Everything was perfect. Absolutely beautiful accommodation, immaculately clean and well laid out. Had absolutely everything we needed. We were a group of 15 ladies and every single one of us would book Abergwaun again. Kitchen is superbly equipped for large groups. The bedrooms are big with super comfy beds and everything was spotless.
The pub opposite us (Royal Oak) is such a friendly, accommodating place and the food is great.
Andrew our host couldn't be any more helpful and responsive to queries. Will 💯 be rebooking. Nothing to dislike about the property. Keep an eye on the parking in the car park up the road as you will need to repay after 24 hours. We almost forgot!

- Maria (10/5): The pictures do not do this property just. Simply beautiful. - Absolutely beautiful, well presented property.
Amazing communication with the owner Andrew.
The welcome drink and chocolates were especially a very nice touch.
There is an annual street party for the new year in Fishguard and Andrew was kind enough to secure wrist bands for our entire group so we could attend.
I cannot recommend this property enough.
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay.

- Wlodkowski (10/5): - Our group of friends was absolutely delighted with our stay at Abergwaun Cottage. When we arrived, we were all stunned – the photos online don’t even come close to showing how beautiful, modern, and spacious this place really is.
The huge, fully equipped kitchen (with two large fridges!) connects to a spacious dining area and leads into an impressive living room – everything freshly renovated and tastefully designed. The bedrooms match the high standard of the rest of the house, each with a private bathroom, and two of them even offer stunning sea views.
The children loved spending time in the game room, while the adults appreciated the comfort and functionality of the entire property. The whole complex is truly large, modern, and carefully thought out in every detail.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in such exceptional conditions – we will definitely be coming back! Everything 😍

- Hellen (10/5): A beautiful, well-equipped cottage in the heart of Fishguard — perfect for a family stay - I recently stayed for 3 nights at this lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Fishguard, Wales, with my two sisters and our kids — and we all absolutely loved it. The cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had such a warm, homely feel. It had everything we could possibly need, which made it a really comfortable and relaxing stay for both the adults and the children.
The location was perfect — right in the heart of Fishguard, with shops, cafes, and beautiful coastal walks just a short stroll away. Although there’s no on-site parking, we found a convenient spot less than a 5-minute walk from the cottage, which worked out perfectly for us.
This was a wonderful base for our family break, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore this lovely part of Wales There’s absolutely nothing I did not like about this property.
- Ishry (10/5): It was one of best…. - Cleanliness and spacious No parking for the property
- Harpreet (10/5): Spacious, clean and central location - Property was very clean and with full of facilities, central location next to pubs and restaurants. Living spaces including kitchen and dinning room was very spacious. Not a negative but if we can have individual locks on the room doors that will be great.
- Thomas (10/5): Was very impressed with the accommodation! Didn’t expect it to be so spacious and an ideal location - Very clean, loved the double kitchen appliances and lots of space
- Thomas (10/5): perfect location and amazing facilities for 16 people. - The location is excellent the host was very helpful and understanding. The property itself is fantastically outfitted for the number of people it sleeps. Couldn't ask for more. Nothing the place was that good.
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was extremely tidy and spacious, athletes of the GB Rowing Team all had their own space to unwind in down time and the property had everything you could need. Perfect location to nearby restaurants, shops and groceries - all within walking distance. Communication throughout has been great and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
- Florin (10/5): The perfect Cottage - We had the most wonderful stay at the Abergwaun Cottage over the Easter weekend.
The accommodation was spotless, modern and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We were a group of five families (17 people) and the cottage was big enough to accommodate all of us. One of the highlights was the big dining area with the log burner which everyone loved! The are plenty of pubs and shops nearby plus walking trails to explore the beautiful area around Fishguard. If you're looking for a relaxing, very clean and perfectly equipped accommodation Abergwaun Cottage is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to return! Absolutely nothing.
- Wendy (9/5): We had a lovely time, good location and a great place to get the family together. - The location was very central, and there was plenty of room for everyone. On the first flight of stairs it would benefit from a hand rail for the elderly guests.
- Lee (10/5): Family break - We stayed here as a family for 3 nights over the New Year. Communication from beginning to the end was Superb - nothing was too much trouble. Location was perfect and the locals were friendly and welcoming.
On arrival we received a welcome pack and an information book which fully explained everything we needed to know.
The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful and had plenty of space for the 16 of us that stayed. The cinema room was a great hit with the teens and the little ones had lots of space to play.
We would highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be returning 😊. N/A
