• Micah (1/5): - The property does not look like the photos. We arrived to a really dirty house, stains on the bed sheets, no running water. It was a disaster, the pool area was dirty, seats are falling apart. There is no where to relax by the pool area, we ended up receiving a re fund luckily. Proceed with caution when looking at this place.

The kitchen was full of leftovers and dirty utensils that you wouldn’t even want to touch, the bathroom was in terrible condition, and overall the place felt more like a storage room than a home. The absolute low point, however, was the pool: dirty, cloudy, and in such a disgraceful state that you wouldn’t even think of going near it. Instead of relaxation and enjoyment, it only caused disgust and serious concerns for health. It is a shame that such a property is even being rented out in this condition. I cannot recommend it to anyone—in fact, I strongly advise avoiding it at all costs.”

• Brooke (1/5): Extremely unhappy. - NOTHING. This whole experience has been extremely distressing due to the hosts hostile behaviour. I booked this villa for a relaxing stay, but was shocked by the condition of the property when I arrived. The bathroom had visible mould, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and there was spoiled food left in the kitchen sink. The bench and sink were dirty, and the air conditioning in one bedroom made loud surging noises and didn’t cool properly. There were dead insects throughout the house, and the bedding was stained, including what appeared to be blood on a pillowcase. The outdoor area was unkempt, and the back garden shown in the photos did not exist. I left the property immediately and booked alternative accommodation at my own expense. I reached out to the host directly — politely and privately — hoping to resolve the issue and request a refund. Instead of acknowledging anything, the host responded by threatening me with legal action and said I could be arrested or banned from the country under Indonesian defamation law. I have photo and video evidence of all the issues mentioned. This experience was extremely upsetting, and the threatening message from the host made it worse. I’ve reported this to Booking.com and hope they investigate. Avoid this property.
