• Ilan (10/5): 100% recomended for visiting the Douro valey area. - The location is fantastic and the view is unbelievable. Victor was a perfect host. He spoiled us with a bottle of old great wine from his cellar, and nice treats and snacks. He even gave us a nice tour to his winery and cellar. We also bought a bottle of his new wine which was exceptional and won great prizes at the blind wine tasting competition. people wrote bad reviews about the dogs barking, but they didn’t bother us at all.

The only thing that might be needed is a heater in the bathroom. Right now is not necessary but in colder seasons it probably would be.

• Jaedon (10/5): A perfect apartment in the Douro Valley. Peaceful, well equipped, cozy and with spectacular views - Everything about it was perfect. It has a well equiped kitchen to cook proper meals, a wood fire, fantastic views, and plenty of space inside and outside to relax. It is completely quiet at night and you feel very at peace. There was also some local wine and foods left out for us upon arrival, which made an already great property even better. I will definitely be returning but for much longer next time. There is essentially nothing wrong with the property.

• Alison (9/5): - Gorgeous property in a stunning location with 3 terraces to take in the amazing views. Felt very comfortable and felt the care shown to the property and us as guests. Lovely touches throughout the house and the food, wine and water left for us on arrival was such a lovely gesture. Don’t hesitate to book this property. Loved the property, but there wasn’t air conditioning in the second bedroom, so it was very hot, even with the fan that was provided.

Ils nous ont réveillés plusieurs fois dans la nuit puis à 6h du matin. Quel dommage car le lieu est hyper paisible.

• Julie (10/5): Top quality apartment in a picturesque area - We thought it was a beautiful apartment with all the essentials for a perfect break. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the use of three balconies so we could benefit from the sunshine wherever we were. We were impressed with the welcome food platter & wine - it was delicious! The views over the Douro were spectacular & it is such a quiet, relaxing location. We were treated to a a winery tour by the owner, Viktor which was very informative. All three of the Quinta wines we tried were excellent. Could not recommend a stay here enough - superb! Nothing to dislike

• Frederick (10/5): A magical stay on a private vineyard in the Douro. A lovely host and a wonderful experience, especially if you love wine - The location was magical, on a private vineyard, set amongst the grape vines in the Douro region of Portugal. The accommodation was very comfortable, elevated over the grape vines with expansive views over valleys below. Our host was welcoming and treated us to a guided tour of his winery, where he makes 5000 ltrs of red and white wine each year. Our host Vitor welcomed us with a delicious plate of food and a bottle of his excellent wine. Simply wonderful! Nothing

We had a flat battery the morning we were leaving so I called him and he sent his housekeeper and her husband to start our car. We then asked where we can get a new battery from and the housekeepers son was a mechanic. They took us to him and he replaced the battery. Excellent service and got us out of a lot of trouble thank you to Victor. We would love to stay again. Nothing. Bathroom a bit small and outdated but was still good for our stay

Two comfortable bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full living room with fireplace, 3 balconies (one accessed from one of the bedrooms and one with dining table for meals outside), a large fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. We were met by a lovely friendly lady who laid out a welcome snack with bread, homemade jams, cheese, ham, pastries, wine, water and Port wine. The view is breathtaking with vineyards at the quinta looking out to the mountains. We parked right inside the next to the house. I cannot fault a single thing and will definitely return if I am in the area again. Perfect accommodation for a short or long visit for a family of 4 or 2 couples. Nothing

• N. (10/5): Great view - The view was incredible and the welcome wine and food were really good. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped. The kitchen got very hot during the day and the second bedroom didn't have air conditioning (it did have a fan). Important to note that we were there with very high temperatures (over 40° in the day and over 30° in the night).
• Dafna (10/5): Exceptional - Victor is an amazing host, when we just arrived we were greeted by 2007 wine from the vineyard next to the apartment, victor made us also a tour in the vineyard and about the process of making the wine. And the view is more than amazing. The only downside is that we couldn’t stay for more! 100% recommended

The decks were great to sit out and relax. The house was spacious and was well-equipped, appreciated the washing machine. There was a nearby town for a few groceries and restaurants. Owner very helpful when one member of our party lost wallet. Wished we could have stayed more than one night. Idyllic.
• Claire (10/5): A picture perfect view across the mountains - We were greeted on arrival by Hetor, with a glass of Porto. He showed us around their holiday house which was absolutely beautiful. Hetor and his lovely wife had prepared for us fresh bread, olives, cheese, prosciutto and home made jams, as well as a bottle of red wine from their Winery. We could not have been happier. The view from the window was stunning! Hetor gave us a tour of his winery one afternoon which was very interesting. The house also had a washing machine and clothes airer which was wonderful after I’d spent the previous 2 weeks handwashing our clothes! Lovely, hospitable people who went out of their way to make our stay as lovely as it was. We highly recommend! There was nothing we didn’t like.
• Mateusz (10/5): Exceptional - I definitely recommend staying at Quinta Soutelinho. Our stay here was a great experience. We arrived quite late and the owner was waiting for us. We were received royally, we were served refreshments and wine produced by the host, which we drank on the terrace admiring the terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley. The house is beautiful, equipped with old furniture that only adds to its taste. The owners are wonderful people. During the conversations, we learned a lot about wine production. The owner took us to a demonstration of his own wine production, which was an attraction in itself. During your stay, I highly recommend purchasing wine produced by the owners, which is delicious and, I guess, cheaper than wine of similar quality in the store. I would like to write this while still staying at Quinta Soutelinho :)
• Olga (10/5): Exceptional - An absolutely fantastic experience! The hosts that make you feel like you are their family. Amazing set of local snacks as a compliment on the arrival, port wine and a bottle of their red wine, incredible! The apartment itself is huuge and has everything and more than you can expect! Vitor and his lovely wife even gave us their warm clothes since we were too silly and mixed the weather, Vitor gave us a lift to a lovely restaurant close by where we had amazing dinner! I could go on and on and on. Absolutely highlight of our travels in Portugal! Me & mom were very happy! And the hostess gave us a lovely handmade present when we were leaving! I mean, they are fantastic! Thanks so mch!!!

There was a table set with all kinds of local snacks, a bottle of 2007 vintage wine like no other we ever had & Porto Wine too. The location & view was lovely. The rooms extremely confortable and the entire property neat & very clean. One fireplace in the living room & another in the kitchen... (To many good things to say about our stay at Quinta Soutelinho & not enough space here!😃) Our stay was too short!

• Clive (10/5): Exceptional - What can I say about this Quinta, other than it was perfect. The owners are lovely, generous and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. We even had a private wine tour and tasting, which was fascinating. I have never tasted 2 week old wine before, which was surprisingly good. The apartment was huge, with everything we needed and the views incredible. We could only book the one night.

• Maxim (10/5): Amazing! - We were welcomed with a very nice and tasteful collection of regional products. The rooms were very clean and big. A nice terrace with a view of the Duoro region. The wine that we received was original wine from Quinta Soutelinho! We were lucky enough to get a tour in the winery by the owner and his friends. The winery is property of the family for a long time. Somethingn you notice when you hear the owner hear speaking about the process and care they take in their wine production. We bought 6 bottles of wine and selfmade jam. A must visit if you travel through Portugal and/or Duoro valley.

Not a bad comment per se, but we had trouble finding the location because of our stupid car gps. I would advise contacting the owner in case of doubt.
