• Benedict (9/5): - Le bati - un monastère vieux de 500 ans - était magnifique, et l'emplacement en plein coeur de Monemvasia était exceptionnel. Nous avons passé un séjour superbe dans cette ville extraordinaire. Nous n'avons pas eu de réserves, tout s'est bien passé.
• Kevin (9/5): Calm amid the bustle - This was an oasis of calm just a few steps away from the jostle and bustle of main street Monemvasia. Chris and Iannis were excellent hosts. Lovely breakfast treats and fresh oranges in the room. Nothing we didn't like, but remember this is a four hundred and fifty year old former monastery so the rooms / cells are quite small. However the space has been cleverly utilised and we had seating outside in the courtyard. There is also a spot to go swimming just below!

Super nice hosts that provided excellent and useful information. This is a place we would love to come back to.

We got some local wine as a welcome and plenty of things to make ourselves a nice breakfast. It felt very cosy. Definitely recommended! A little difficult to warm up the appartment with the air-conditioning, in a cold winter day.

Three of us stayed in the two bed/two bath apartment which has a wonderful living/dining area. Coffee, tea and snacks were left for us. Immaculate with comfortable beds. Staff helps you get your bags over the cobblestone streets to and from the entry gate Neither our phone or car GPS systems could find the road to the island and directed us all over the mainland town, down dirt roads, etc! A boy walking along a paved road was able to gesture adequately enough for us to find it!

• Susan (3/5): Liked the location but disappointed with the overall experience - Room has a odour coming from the bathroom floor drain. Rubber cover over drain is easily pushed aside from the door that needs to be adjusted. Mattress not comfortable nor were the quality of the linens. Other than what I’ve mentioned, you may want to consider better signage to the hotel and consider that some of us elderly people struggle with our luggage.

• CHRISTOFOROU ALEXANDRA (8/5): - Επισκεφθήκαμε τον ξενώνα κατά τη διάρκεια των Χριστουγέννων του 2025. Από την πρώτη στιγμή, το κατάλυμα εντυπωσιάζει, καθώς στεγάζεται σε ένα κτίριο 550 ετών, γεγονός που του προσδίδει ιδιαίτερη ιστορική και αρχιτεκτονική αξία. Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική, με όμορφη θέα, ενώ οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν ευγενικοί και πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν. Θετικό στοιχείο αποτέλεσε η δυνατότητα χρήσης του τζακιού, με ξύλα που περιλαμβάνονταν στη χρέωση, κάτι που έκανε τη διαμονή ιδιαίτερα ζεστή και ατμοσφαιρική, ειδικά δεδομένου ότι είχαμε επιλέξει το μεγάλο οικογενειακό δωμάτιο. Κατά την άφιξή μας, μας περίμενε ένα τοπικό κρασί, φρούτα και καφέδες - μια πολύ ευχάριστη και προσεγμένη χειρονομία. Η διακόσμηση του δωματίου ήταν παραδοσιακή και εναρμονισμένη με το ύφος του ξενώνα, όπως ακριβώς αναμέναμε. Συνολικά, το κόστος σε σχέση με την εμπειρία κρίνεται ικανοποιητικό και θα επέστρεφα ξανά στον ξενώνα, κυρίως λόγω της τοποθεσίας, του χαρακτήρα του κτιρίου και της φιλοξενίας. Επιπλέον, ο όμορφος εξωτερικός χώρος θα ταίριαζε ιδανικά με την παροχή πρωινού. Ακόμη και αν αυτό δεν είναι εφικτό για λόγους αδειοδότησης, ίσως θα μπορούσε να εξεταστεί η δυνατότητα παροχής πρωινού απευθείας στο δωμάτιο, κάτι που θα αναβάθμιζε ακόμη περισσότερο τη συνολική εμπειρία. Υπάρχουν ορισμένα σημεία που θα μπορούσαν να βελτιωθούν. Όπως έχει αναφερθεί και σε άλλα σχόλια, τα μπάνια χρήζουν ανακαίνισης, καθώς δεν ανταποκρίνονται πλέον σε σύγχρονες προδιαγραφές άνεσης. Επιπλέον, η τηλεόραση ήταν παλαιότερης τεχνολογίας και όχι ιδιαίτερα εύχρηστη. Στο ίδιο πλαίσιο, θα ήταν θετικό να ανανεωθούν και τα κρεβάτια καθώς και τα στρώματα, τα οποία χρειάζονται αντικατάσταση ώστε να ενισχυθεί η συνολική άνεση της διαμονής. Σε ό,τι αφορά την καθαριότητα, κατά την άφιξή μας έγινε μια γενική αναφορά στο αν χρειαζόμαστε κάτι επιπλέον. Ευγενικά και κάπως αμήχανα απαντήσαμε ότι δεν θα θέλαμε κάτι συγκεκριμένο εκείνη τη στιγμή, θεωρώντας δεδομένο ότι θα υπήρχε βασική παροχή καθαριότητας κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής. Για τον λόγο αυτό δεν επιμείναμε περαιτέρω. Όταν, ωστόσο, την τρίτη ημέρα ζητήσαμε να απομακρυνθούν τα απορρίμματα από το δωμάτιο, αυτό πραγματοποιήθηκε άμεσα και χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα.

• Elena Kourelea (10/5): - Η φιλοξενία και η εξυπηρέτηση από τη κυρία Μαρία κ τους γιους της ήταν πραγματικά μοναδικη! Θα έπρεπε να διδάσκεται σε σεμινάρια για πενταστερα ξενοδοχεία! Φιλικοί, πρόσχαροι, μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν να ήμασταν σπίτι μας!! Στο τσεκνιν μας κέρασαν οινομελο και στο δωμάτιο μας είχαν κρασί καλωσορίσματος από το κελάρι τους! Η τοποθεσία του ξενώνα καταπληκτική μέσα στο κάστρο στη κεντρική πλατεία! Τα δωμάτια καθαρά, με έντονο το παραδοσιακό χαρακτήρα τ κτηρίου κ τη πέτρα. Οι επισκέπτες του ξενώνα έχουν και μια οινογνωσια από το κελάρι της οικογένειας. Εκεί γνωρίσαμε τη κ. Μαρία που μας εκανε να νιώσουμε σαν παιδια της! Μας εξήγησε όλη την ιστορία του ξενώνα και μας έδωσε σημαντικές πληροφορίες για της εκκλησίες της Μονεμβασιάς. Θα επιστρέψουμε σίγουρα στα Κελλιά και συνιστούμε σε κάθε επισκέπτη της Μονεμβασιάς να περάσει από αυτόν τον καταπληκτικό ξενώνα! Δεν υπήρχε κάτι που να μην μας άρεσε! Όλα ήταν υπέροχα!

• Voyageuse55 (10/5): On ne demande qu'à revenir en ce lieu qui est toujours un peu magique ... - La possibilité de faire transporter ses bagages à l'arrivée comme au départ est un vrai plus pour pouvoir apprécier pleinement ce séjour un peu hors du temps .... chambres cocooning, "en cas" petit déjeuner apprécié qui permet de faire durer le moment dans un lieu si particulier, quand on aime .... les chats sont des visiteurs appréciés !

The building itself is full of history and charm, beautifully restored with cozy, traditional details while still offering modern comfort. Our room was warm, spotless, and very comfortable, with lovely touches that made it feel special. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the old town, just steps from the lake and many great tavernas, cafés, and scenic walking paths. It’s peaceful and quiet at night, ideal for relaxing after exploring the city. The hospitality was outstanding. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful with local tips and recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kastoria who wants charm, comfort, and authentic Greek hospitality. Nothing to not like. It’s amazing

• Albert (10/5): Una opció immillorable per allotjar-te a Monemvasia. - El poble és espectacular i Guesthouse Kellia està totalment a l'alçada. Una situació immillorable dins del poble i davant del mar. L'espai és un luxe en un lloc tant dens com aquest. L'habitació àmplia i molt ben decorada i el bany còmode i perfectament funcional.
• ΜΑΡΙΝΑ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΠΟΥΛΟΥ (9/5): Μαγική Μονεμβασιά! - Υπέροχη τοποθεσία, ακριβώς πάνω στην πλατεία, με θέα θάλασσα και ένα υπέροχο μπαλκονακι, από όπου μπορούσες να απολαύσεις τη θέα! Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ βοηθητικό, αμέσως μόλις αναφέραμε ένα θέμα με την τηλεόραση ήρθαν και το έφτιαξαν! Μας είχαν κάθε πρωί καφέ, τσάι, φρυγανιές, μέλι, μαρμελάδες και κρουασάν, ενώ για το καλωσόρισμα μας είχαν και μια κανάτα κρασί! Θα το ξαναπροτιμήσουμε οπωσδήποτε εάν επιστρέψουμε Μονεμβασιά! Ευχαριστούμε για την υπέροχη φιλοξενία! Είχαμε ένα θέμα με τις πετσέτες, αλλά όταν το αναφέραμε, ήρθαν αμέσως και μας τις αντικατέστησαν, οπότε όλα καλά!
