Guest Reviews
- Syeda (10/5): Had a great stay! - I liked everything about this beautiful little cottage. It was well equipped with every little thing needed for a stay. Thank you! Nothing.
- Ruth (10/5): A wonderful comfy and well equipped place to stay. - It was perfect we had everything we needed It was good to be able to wash our cloths as we were walking the north wales pilgrim path. The house was beautifully decorated and cosy. The pub near by had wonderful home cooked food There was a shop we could buy anything we needed. The bus stop was right there too.
- MartaIrons (8/5): - The location is amazing, the house is clearly well maintained and taken care of, we loved all the nice attentions - water and milk in the fridge, the lovely decor, the comfortable and cozy living room - everything was very clean too! The size of the bed of one of the two bedrooms was not fitted for 2 people - one of us had to sleep on the sofa, which was as conformable as a bed anyway - so, not a big problem overall
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (9/5): Charming & Quirky - This is a unique accommodation, unlike any we have previously stayed in (which is a lot). An unusual and interesting layout makes it a 'quirky' place to stay - that we thought was truly charming.
The owner has obviously put a lot of thought into maximising the facilities and options offered. It feels very homely rather than corporate, with lots of personal touches.
There is one parking space, which is just big enough for a very large car (5.5m just fit on) and whilst it is opposite a pub - that turns out to be a positive. It's quiet and the pub actually serves great food if you want to eat out too. We did have to unplug the air fresheners (of which there were quite a few) as those things trigger my asthma. There were 3 of us, a couple and a single person - so with a single and double bedroom we were well catered for. However, the additional single is really only for a small person or child, as it involves climbing a narrow set of stairs into the eves from the living space and the room is very compact and low. We didn't use it but had a look and I think it would be a bit of a surprise to whichever adult was allocated that room.
- Euan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Majella (8/5): Lovely cottage, great for our family of 4 - Lots of space for a family of 4, very comfortable, quiet area
- Aimee (10/5): Lovely comfortable cozy stay! - I loved staying at the Harlequin! I wanted to stay in Llangrwnwy to be close to visiting the tree and this was perfect! The beds were super comfortable and the whole place felt very cozy and just what I wanted. The heater was a little wonky at first but communication was excellent and I had it working in no time. I really love my stay here. Only thing missing was a hair dryer and being from the US that was the only thing I needed. Also if you have any mobility issues make sure you take note that the washroom is on the first floor and to get to the kitchen is upstairs. It wasn't an issue for me at all, but just so you know there are stairs.
- Rachel (9/5): Great stay in a comfortable cottage. Owner was great with communication - Lovely, homely cottage . Very comfortable and well equipped
- Will (10/5): Exceptional - Great property to explore Snowdonia. Family of 4 easily fitted in the house and we found facilities great for our 4 x nights.
Pub literally across the road which serves great pub food Cosy house to stay in … beds very comfortable and easy to use the facilities in the property
- Matthew (9/5): Great little cottage; warm, cosy and well equipped. - A great stay. Lloyd was very helpful and excellent at communicating.
The cottage is lovely and is a great place to stay. The attic room is very small, but we loved our stay. Would go back.
The pub is literally 25 steps away and the food is great; would recommend.
- Paul (10/5): Super property - A fantastic cosy well kept property with everything you would need There is nothing not to like
- Gareth (10/5): Fabulous, homely and a special treat to say here! - It was a beautiful and homely cottage with absolutely everything you needed! It was a pleasure staying! The one thing I didn’t like was the fact that I hadn’t booked an extra night!😃
- Julie (7/5): Perfect for a short stay. Ideal for a couple with one child. - Lovely cosy home with interesting features. Great location A bit small and cluttered, although lovely and clean. Attic room had a very uncomfortable bed, but other rooms were great.
- Adrian (10/5): Awesome - Brilliant location in a small village. Excellent pub serving delicious home cooked food and very welcoming. Shop next door to property for convenience.
