• Albena (1/5): THE MOST HORRIBLE place to stay - This is the most HORRIBLE place to stay. It's like an industrial warehouse. Even when we got to the address the taxi driver called because he didn't believe it was a place for tourists. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THE BUILDING. The apartment is on the FOURTH FLOOR. With three suitcases YOU HAVE TO CARRY YOUR LUGGAGE UP THE STAIRS BY YOURSELF. Inside the room is HORRIBLE! Everything is falling apart. The reviews on Booking.com are not true. They are definitely made to order! Everything is very disappointing. EVER, NEVER STAY THERE!

• Sina (8/5): Super Preis Leistung - Die Lage war super und die Besitzerin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist schön und die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem zentral. Den Schrank konnten wir nicht benutzen, da er sehr stark gerochen hat, die Sauberkeit war total in Ordnung, wenn man aber empfindlich ist würde man vielleicht das ein oder andere bemängeln im Badezimmer - aber eigentlich auch nicht wirklich der rede wert. Vor allem der Schlafraum war sehr ordentlich, was mir persönlich wichtiger ist

She was very helpful with any information we needed and even allowed us to store our bags the day we checked out since we had a very late flight. This allowed us to spend the day in Lima without hauling our luggage around. The apartment is located near a market and some restaurants which is helpful. The only thing that surprised us is that we didn't realize there was a common area which is shared by the host as well as another guest since this isn't in the listing. You do have a private bedroom and bathroom which is great but if you're expecting all of the space to be private, it isn't. For the money, it is a clean, basic room with a very hospitable host, which we appreciated.

The location is an easy way to Kennedy park and shopping areas. This was a great place to spend the night before heading to Cusco! This is just something to be noted for future guests -Guadalupe’s place is on the third floor with no elevator.

She welcomed us with open arms, made some good s - The property is on a good area for walking around to all the shops and restaurants. It’s literally a 5 minute walk to one of the large outdoor artesian markets. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about it.

She introduced us a local fruit and bought one for us to try as we didn’t have local currency exchanged yet (off course we paid her back later). Made early breakfast to fit our schedule. • Andrei (6/5): NOT A HOTEL - The room was clean. It is not a hotel, it's like a homestay (in your own room with your own washroom). Was it airbnb with clear check in instructions and payment thru airbnb, I'd rate it 8/10, but it's booking and I expect a different experience from it. The host is nice and etc, read don't like section. I wanted to rate it 1/10 initially because it's extremely hard to find, but decided to give it more fair rating (with the correction to hard to find and no credit cards issues). 1. I don't know if it was stupid me or what, but the place was EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND! I was almost ready to go away and open a case with Booking. You do not get to see the logo anywhere. The booking message doesn't provide any instructions. Unless you read the booking message (which honestly I usually don't read) / reviews and know to look for Guadeloupe, there is no way to find it. See the photos, that's all you get to find it. Initially I wanted to rate it 1/10 because of this issue. 2. They DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS and you find that out only in the message from Booking when it's already too late to cancel. It's really not my problem as a guest about credit card fees. 3. The pressure in the washroom was too low (read other reviews).
• Levelbe (10/5): Exceptional - Guadalupe is a great host. She helps you in everything you need. The breakfast is very good and fresh. Rooms are big enough. You have everything you need. Several inca stores, fruit market and restaurants are close to the place. Metropolitan bus station is cca 3 minutes walking. The rooms are on the forth floor and you have to take the stairs. The street is sometimes a bit noisy.

She arranged transportations from and to the airport and wake up very early in the morning (twice!) to prepared us a freshly made and delicious breakfast. The surrounding area is lively and provides everything you need. To say something, I wished a bit more water pressure in the shower.

• Dorothy (10/5): Great stay, I will definitely be back if ever in Lima. - Excellent safe location with easy access to Metro bus, taxis etc. The host was super hospitable, friendly and gave great advice in terms of places to see. Breakfast was superb, lots of fresh fruits and eggs made to request. I later realised the host checked what the guests prefer and then went early to market to get the items fresh. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable. The bed was fine. Staying here made me feel as if I was staying with friends and I felt very secure. It contributed immensely to my enjoyment of Lima which seems to be full of wonderful people like Guadalupe. Also there is a souvenir market just 20 m. down the same street on the opposite side of the road. A bit further away is a little market that sells fresh fruit, vegetables and household goods. Many little restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Convenient! Many thanks to the host for helping me feel at home. There are only 2 things, the first is steps, it was a couple of floors up. Surprisingly even with my wonky knee I made it up the wide shallow steps quite easily but I felt guilty as my suitcase was 22 kg so the person carrying it did not have fun. The second was the toilet which was super low and clearly not designed for tall people.

• R (9/5): Would definitely stay there again! - Guadeloupe has been the most wonderful, caring and warmhearted host we had during our trip through Peru. We stayed at her flat in Miraflores in a safe walking distance to Kennedy Parc. We got a delicious fruitsalad right after our arrival. The breakfast was better than in some "big" hotels. My flight left quite early in the morning, but Guadeloupe prepared a little breakfast to go and woke up in the middle of the night to make sure I'll get to my shuttle safely. I would definitely recommend to stay at her place. Nothing! Be prepared to pay in cash.
• Correna (10/5): Excellent. - This was the perfect place to stay for us. The host, Guadalupe was awesome. She provided lovely breakfast, a wealth of information about the local area and helped us find sim cards and laundry services. She is a great conversationalist and speaks excellent English. She was so welcoming, even though our flight was delayed and we arrived very very late. She also arranged our taxi from the airport for a really good price. This was really helpful because Lima airport arrivals is a bit chaotic. Breakfast was beautiful; fruit, a smoothie, beautiful bread rolls, cheese, a choice of eggs or avocado, coffee, a selection of tea, fresh milk. The location is perfect in Miraflores and close to all transport links. The room was big and very very clean. There are cupboards to store clothes etc. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was super clean. The Wi-Fi was solid and never dropped once while we were there. We can’t fault anything. Just be aware the there are three flights of stairs to reach the property.

She makes fresh breakfast every morning and is super helpful with anything you need. We had a great time. The room was big and confortable. Everything super clean. Location is good, near to Miraflores centre and the bus station to the Lima Centre is 5 minutes away. Great place to stay! The shower has very little pressure.

We've been travelling all over for the past 9 months and the host here, Guadelupe was the warmest, kindest, most welcoming host we've come across. I was quite sick during the stay, requiring a trip to the hospital, and Guadelupe came with me to make sure I got seen to quickly and was well taken care of. She then looked after me during the next 3 or 4 days, making me lunches and dinners to nurse me back to health. She really did go above and beyond. The accommodation is also really, really nice. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, immaculately clean, fantastic, varied breakfasts and a brilliant location. Thank you Guadelupe. Everything was perfect

She ist so heartwarming, took us to a walk through Lima on our arrival day, helped us with everything we needed (like SIM Cards or Bus tickets) and made the best breakfast we had in Peru. • Reinhard (9/5): Exceptional accommodation in Miraflores - A room in the flat of Guadalupe (Miraflores Centre) is a very good choice for a stay in Lima, resp. Miraflores. It is conveniently located close to the Kennedy park and to a Metropolitano station in a relatively quiet side street. The room is simple but convenient and the breakfast is just fantastic. The unbeatable highlight of this accommodation, however, is Guadalupe's personality, open and friendly, helpful in any respect, especially for a travel start when arriving in Lima. She speaks fluent English, is a profound source for any information about Lima in particular and Peru in general, she takes care even when you arrive in the middle of the night, and she is always available for questions, for advice, or just for a chat. Taken together: Guadalupe is a real gem and Miraflores Centre is very good value for money. During a three-months travel in Peru, we stayed four times with Guadalupe, using Miraflores Centre as a hub for different destinations within Peru. We will never forget her hospitality. The room may get rather warm in the afternoon, which is, however, tolerable, since the cooler living room can be jointly used, too.

• Michael (10/5): Highly recommended accommodation - Guadelope is a great host. We had our first accommodation in Peru with her. It was the perfect start to our Peru trip. We were able to communicate with her in English. She gave us tips, went with us personally to the bus station to show us the way and gave us her bus pass. The breakfast with freshly squeezed juice, fresh fruit, etc. was great.

• Lorenzo (9/5): Nice stay in Lima - The owner is honestly extra nice, she will make sure everything is good with you time in lima, by waking up early in the morning before your tour to give you a breakfast box or to call the bus company so they can change your trip. The room we stayed in is a bit humid (nothing unbearable and mostly related to the weather in Lima) and the temperatures of the shower is not easy to control.
• Michael (10/5): Great Breakfast in Miraflores - The apartment is comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Guadalupe was a fantastic host and gave us great recommendations for local food and activities. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, but only 10 minutes walking from Parque Kennedy.
