• Seabi T (1/5): Very disappointing - My room had a smell I couldn’t get rid off. Like it had been rained on. Remotes weren’t working. Shower water got cold after heating up.
• Refiloe (2/5): Unpleasant visit - The location of the guesthouse is very convenient, close to places I needed The place looked nothing like what’s on the picture, there was no WIFI provided, the shower was worn out, the shower head kept on falling off, the shower tiles looked dirty. The bedding wasn’t changed, it was dirty, pillows were old and shapeless (lack of a better word), towels not fresh. There was no back up power when electricity went off. The place looks dodgy, not the same as the places I usually book in Hartswater, such as Fairview guesthouse.

• Allison (7/5): - The host was very friendly and welcoming. We ran out of hot water and didn't really have our own excess control.
• Selma (7/5): Oky but not for me - Safe and secure All the maintenace and cleaning was not done by the time we arrived and tried to rest a while. A lot of outside noize while workers cleaned and swept in front of the rooms.

• Malotle (1/5): Bad - The reception was great but the facility made us uncomfortable Geyser was not working, air-conditioner off and it was a cold weekend.
• Franken (10/5): Excellent - You can seriously stay at Charis Guesthouse. The Staff are friendly but the owner is stunning. She quickly sort any issues we had. On my part it was not issues it was laziness. Did not wanna drive to town to get wood, but she sorted it out. The breakfast was very lekker and filling. Then there is Pippi, so cute and friendly but DO NOT come close to him when having a chicken leg. When we visit Hartswater again I would definitely stay at Charis again. Already told my friends and family about the Guesthouse so hopefully the wood follow in my footsteps. I really enjoyed my stay and the chats. Thank you That I had to leave so soon

• Soza (1/5): I would never ever again go on the reviews of other users. I would never ever stay in such dirt. - I decided not to take breakfast and bought my own cereals. The place was so untidy. I could not see myself sitting in that area for breakfast, if that was indeed the breakfast room or table, untidy in the whole house. The yard is such an unpleasant place to just move around. The braaii area, which i looked forward to braai in the area, is sooooo dirty area the area. My room, the dirtiest place i came across. Under the couch, very dirty. You can see that someone is trying to clean but only uses a wet cloth to wipe the floors. In the shower, it was the dirties place you could come across. The walls in the bathroom, very dirty. If you take a white cloth, and wipe the wall, you see the dirt that comes along. The toilet seat not clean. You see dirty spots from the previous user. Inside the shower, i took a white towel to wipe in the corners of the showers, dirt comes along. every corner in the shower, dirt comes along, very dirty. You can see that the walls in the bathroom and in the shower, never gets cleaned, never. In front of the refrigerator, very dirty, looked like cleaning was done very long time ago. Inside the corner where the refrigerator is stacked, please take a look for yourself, very very dirty. The light switches, very dirty. Entrance to the room, very dirty. Infront of the room is very dirty. I am going to attach pictures that i managed to take. Behind the curtains, very dirty.
• Gomotsegang (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is a very friendly and caring person. Always available to assist. It was a nice and quiet area, I like that you get woken up by the sound of birds chirping on the trees. It was a nice long stay close to family.

• Jose (9/5): Besides the room being too cold at the time, I really enjoyed my stay there and the privacy - I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was very helpful 🙂 The blankets were not enough and the room was too cold.

• Van (10/5): The stay was exceptional for our family. - The breakfast was to die for... It was worth every sent to stay there. We truly enjoyed our little stay... Wish it was longer. Perfect place for a family to go and stay there when visiting Hartswater. Everything was perfect.

Com such that at one point she was demanding that we pay again because she didn't see the money from booking. Com. We ended up calling booking. Com because she said she couldn't herself or else we pay again The fact that the owner was not sure about booking. Com and it was an embarrassing situation to us when she demanded that we pay again in front of our visitors, however it was rectified when we rang booking. Com
