• Priscilla (10/5): Home Away From Home. - Privacy, location, communication , clean , well equipped everything we needed . Having to leave. Instructions for Heat pump: No heat. We all have 1 but didn't,work. Was ok though as it was still warm.

The only minor inconvenience was having just one bathroom for four people, but everything else was perfect. We’ll definitely come back again next year

• Tara (9/5): Lovely comfortable home in beautiful location - Beautiful large comfortable, with lots of space for the kids. It was quite cold until we had the fire and heatpump going for a while. Also the electric stove top wasn't going, however I'm sure the lovely owners would have had it fixed had we noticed on our first day.

The house had everything we needed plus more There was an issue with drainage smell, but I contacted the owner, and they rectified it immediately. Was very impressed with this. Thank you

Such beautiful furnishing pieces and special t - Loved the location, the whole house was absolutely stunning as well. All the beautiful furnishings in each room were amazing. The gift basket and breakfast were such beautiful touches as well, and so grateful to have come in to your home with those special touches. There was nothing we didn’t like. We loved your beautiful home.
• Shinaye (8/5): Naturally Beautiful - Absolutely loved the layout, such a wonderful historical building! The pictures on the wall of the original build was beautiful to see. Loved the section, the running stream out the back. Stunning! Beds were comfortable, couches too. Tvs were a blessing when we needed to relax and wanted to watch different things. The kitchen was well equipped. Small inconvenience with the drains, bathrooms drained slowly and the kitchen overflowed to the garden. Rubbish/recycling bins were full on arrival which was tricky as we were there for 6days with 7 people. One bed was a single bed, we were expecting a pull out couch.

• Nick (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was much bigger than we expected. After travelling around NZ and staying in much smaller places, this was a wonderful place to end our holiday in. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. 1 toilet between 5 people was a bit limiting at times, but we understand it is a period property and there's not much that could be done about that!

The breakfast provided. It was extremely comfortable. It would have been nice to have had smaller coffee mugs. One toilet was a little tricky.

• Anne (5/5): Sincere and welcoming hosts, wonderful location, but more renovations needed. - Our hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. They did their best to help us. They made sure that we would be warm. Breakfast was very good, thankyou. The location was beautiful. Unfortunately there were safely issues. The front steps were slippery and there was no handrailing. There needs to be non-slip matting there also/ There were 2 bathrooms advertised and I assumed there would be 2 toilets. There was only one, and there needed to be another one up with the bathroom where the two bedrooms were above the kitchen. Instead, you had to go through the kitchen to get to the toilet. Awkward for any one with mobility difficulties or elderly. .It would have been nice to be able to watch live TV but it seemed not to be available according to one comment There we kept running out of hot water. We think that the hot water cylinder was too small for 5 people Even after a couple of showers, or a small bath, there was little hot water. Im sorry to say.
