• Tina (1/5): Buyer Beware! Do not stay here. Save yourself the hassle. We do not recommend. - Buyer Beware! Do not book with this property! I have stayed in properties with Booking, AirBnB and VRBO around the world and this is the first time that this has happened to me. I am thorough in my research but this listing is not reality. The property that was shown in photos and the reviews for the booking is NOT the apartment that was given to us. When I told the owner that this is not what was advertised, she said I was wrong. I showed her my booking confirmation with the photos displayed and she started screaming at me that those photos are for one of her more expensive apartments and that she “has never had this problem before”. She told us that she would move us to the other apartment that was advertised the next day but she never did. The apartment we were given did not match the photos or the reviews for the unit that we booked. We paid over 150 Euro per night—I wouldn’t have paid 20 Euro for this place!!! A hostel would have been better! The unit we were given had an ant infestation throughout. There was also an infestation of gnats in the bathroom. The bugs were crawling everywhere—on the beds, on the floor, on the couches, on the kitchen table. Disgusting. The unit was also old and completely filthy. It had not been cleaned. Hair on the sheets, hair all over the floors, dustballs in all of the corners, piles of dust on the bed frame. There was dirt and small stains all over the sheets. The shower had hair all over the floor and had also not been cleaned. Same with the toilet. The sofa bed, once opened, had piles of dust and dirt on it and the foam mattress cover was ripped. This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. It is also in the seediest part of town, on the outskirts of Porto Cheli. We looked to try to book something else in the area immediately but nothing was available due to short notice and I had 3 kids with me and tickets booked for the area so I had nowhere to go. I immediately informed Booking of the issues with this property and took photos. I have lots more photos of the state of the property and videos of the bugs crawling everywhere. I have requested a refund for this booking immediately and have still received no response from the owner. Terrible business practices. Save your money.

• Noga (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartement, very comfortable and neat. The shower is superb. We had missing basic kitchen utinsils and the owner came by after a few minutes and brought us all we needed (they live near by). Very much recommended.

• San (10/5): Heaven exists ! - The beautifull apartement and location. Actually I should keep this place a secret and don't tell anyone about it. Sometimes you find a place which is heavenly nice and good. Apartment Venetia is such a place. Everything and I realy mean everything is perfect. Host Lilia is so sweet and kind, usually I don't say this but everyone who had something to complain in a review should be ashamed, because this place is absolutely TOP LEVEL ! The best ever, and believe me, as a genius 3 level I have been in a lot of places. Thanks for everything, and we will be back....FOR SURE !!!

• Jette (8/5): Weekend escape with partner and puppy - It was pet-friendly, had 3 balconies and an amazing view. The rain shower was the cherry on the cake. The tab water had a funny taste when brushing teeth. It would be nice to have parking with shadow.
• Nichos (9/5): Fantastic modern, clean apartment with great views. - Clean, modern, quiet and great hill side views on 2 sides with balconies. Lack of good wifi, lack of a few kitchen items,no washing machine in apartment although host provided alternative.

• Ognyan (9/5): Very good value for money - The place is very well equipped, it has everything you need and a wonderful view. The host is a lovely lady (very very helpful) and she knows Porto Heli and can give good advice. The location is very good for views, but it takes a good 10-15 minutes walk to get to the port area and restaurants. Be advised that if you come without a car, the good beaches are far away.
