- Caroline (8/5): Disappointing and due to the limitations we didn’t feel it was value for money. - Well appointed apartment, modern, clean, has everything you need. Check in process was good. There is a building site next door in the early stages, we were woken at 8.00am every day including Saturday and building noise went on all day. Although this is on the Vale do Lobo resort it has no access to the facilities. The description says you can pay for the shuttle service but you can’t as the company who own this apartment are not members of the resort club. It also means you have to pay to use the pool at 30 euros per person per day unless you have a house with its own pool of course.The resort is spread out, you would need a hire car or Uber to get around it as it is too hot to walk around in the summer months and the communal areas are in different locations. The resort is good for golfers but it is not ideal for families. We found the resort reception friendly but not helpful. We would not go again or recommend.
- catherine (6/5): Beautiful inside but not outside - Beautiful apartment unfortunately the area had no amenities. Also we had pigeons nesting in the eaves of the building. The noise was constant and excrement was all over the landing and stairs. Also there was building work going on every day. The noise was awful. Such a shame given how nice the inside was.
