• Sally (8/5): A great find for our quick weekend break, very pleased with the whole accommodation - Absolutely loads of space Lounge was comfortable, warm with a nice outlook over the high street watching the world pass by Newly refurbished bathroom from a bath to huge walk in shower Flat cosy and warm on arrival Bedrooms super quiet Great bathroom towels soft and big Cleaned to a great standard Beds not very comfortable probably a mattress you would struggle with comfort after a couple of Alley way to apartment dark at night
• karen (5/5): The apartment was nicely decorated just not as it was advertised regarding a house. - It’s not a house as the name suggests Dark alley way to the front door, beds weren’t very comfortable. No parking.

Comfortable bed, loads of space and nice living space to chill out in. Flat was freezing cold and took time to heat up. Parking is off site and bit away from property but expected as you are in a town main street

• Karthik Varma (10/5): Great central location close to lakes and all amenities. - Great location, right in the middle of the town centre with all shops nearby and very close to the lakes. The property itself is spacious and well maintained. The host was excellent andt ensured we had a comfortable stay.

• Martin (10/5): Familienaufenthalt. - Sehr sauber und großzügig. Mit Liebe zum Details eingerichtet. Zentral gelegen, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Schwierig einen Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft zum Ein- und Ausladen zu finden. Parkplätze aber Inder Nähe.

• Shashwat (6/5): Satisfactory flat in a good location - Good location and 3 reasonably sized bedrooms. We forgot a watch on one of the beds and the cleaner (Moira) found it and has agreed to post it to us. The access to the flat is not great. It’s a narrow alleyway between two shops with a lot of clutter. There was an old toilet commode dumped outside the flat, which we had to walk around to get to the front door.

• Philip (9/5): Only stayed one night but ideal for three blokes wanting a room each! - Property was clean and well equipped Needed a sign on outer door to assist in locating the place and the outdoor passageway was strewn with rubbish that gave a false poor first impression.
• Mary (6/5): - The flat was clean and central. It was located down an unpleasant alley and it was not clear which door was the entrance to the flat, no name or number. The shower was very low water pressure, pretty much a dribble. Beds were small and none of us found the mattresses very comfortable.

• rebecca (9/5): Lovely home from home. - Love and spacious, a home from home with proper sofas, blankets for cosyness. All bedding and towels clean and smelling fresh. Could possibly be better signed on the street gate perhaps.
• Asad (10/5): Excellent stay. - The location and the facility was out standing. Can't complaint. it was really beyond my expectations. The location to enter the property is quite hidden. It would be better if there a board or directions to the back door.

• Ellie (7/5): Good value for money - It was great value for money and a nice little apartment in the centre of town, good for exploring the surrounding towns. It was quiet and the communal areas were good. It was a little hard to find and the check in instructions weren't the clearest. The flat was a little run down, with one of the sofas being broken, and the kitchen utensils lacking a bit.

• Shikha (9/5): A Good place to stay - The flat is on the 1st floor and is on the Town's High Street. The flat had all the amenities and was clean. We are a family of 4 with my mom visiting so 3 lovely bedrooms to share.It was a perfect stop in the Lake District and people are very friendly. We found fans in the storage room for every room. Needed them. The TV has all the channels..Netflix and all. Kids had entertainment and comfy sofas and beds. The location is great but how to get to it is hidden and a bit tricky. Should make the approach to the flat a bit better. It put off my old Mom as she was using a stick to walk. A bit of smell in the closed flat but once open the windows it all goes away. The instant shower heater isn't good. We had to play a lot with the knobs. It is too hot or cold water. Needs to be looked at. The shower curtain rod has to be fixed permanently rather than a flimsy plastic one as it fell a couple of times. The rest was just lovely.
• Karen (10/5): Absolutely lovely - Much more spacious than we expected, clean, comfortable and impeccable attention to detail. Easy to find and access in a lovely location. Host was extremely responsive. Exceptional value for money. Would highly recommend. There was nothing not to like.
• Rebecca (10/5): Great central location - Such a lovely space in a central location in Cockermouth. It was brilliant for us as a grown-up family staying together. It was light, airy and very comfortable. We will be back I personally found the mattress a bit uncomfortable, but the rest of my family did not at all.
