Guest Reviews
- Shaun (10/5): Wonderful; would book again - Lovely property, and perfect for a family stay. Everything we needed. NOT the fault of the owner, but a head's up for foreign guests: you CANNOT register to use the car park if you have a foreign cell phone (only UK numbers work in the RingGo registration software - app, phone & online).
HOWEVER, street parking is only a few minutes walk away, and we never had trouble finding a space there.
- kellie (10/5): Would definitely recommend this place - Really clean everything there that we needed. Close to travel to the places we were visiting and some lovely woods for the dog 5 minutes up the road

- William (10/5): We were very happy with the house and hope to rent it again next year. - We have been coming to Ivybridge for years as we have many family members living here. The house was very clean and well set up. We liked the central location and particularly liked the pub across the road. We will certainly rent it again. There was nothing to dislike about the property. We are an older couple and found the bath tub shower slippery so we purchased a mat and we couldn’t find any pegs. Minor complaints.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Well presented, cleanly cottage in a perfect spot.
- Margie (8/5): Very good -
- Jay (10/5): i enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay there again - well situated homely clean tidy comfortable i would recommend this place to anyone nothing
- Maxim (9/5): Superb - Lovely property with a friendly host.
- Anthony (9/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay and close to all the attractions in the area. - Ivybridge is the perfect location for visiting all the local attractions. The car park at £5 per day was reasonable and only a few steps away. The kitchen although compact had everything you could want or need. I appreciated that basic items were available, salt, oil, tea, cleaning items, toilet rolls etc. Beautiful bathroom with a decent shower. Enclosed patio garden was lovely. Short stroll to the centre and lovely walks along the river. The Imperial pub served nice food (Thursday is specials night) and the staff welcoming. If you have the "Good to go app" do use it for Warrens bakery as the pies and cakes were delicious. The Ivybridge brewery is tiny but have excellent beers and the people that are employed there have learning disabilities. The road is very tight so don't follow the sat nav but go along the main road to the roundabout where the church is and turn right and immediate right into the Ringo car park.
Maybe a mirror in the top bedroom and single bed room would be nice.
- Simon (9/5): Warm and welcoming - The cottage has been modernised to a really good standard and is both warm and welcoming. It offers more than adequate space for 3 people or more. The beds were really comfy. The kitchen would benefit from a coffee machine.
- Lynne (8/5): Very good - Lounge was really spacious and comfortable and decorated to a high degree.
Kitchen is small but well set out.
Bathroom is also very nicely decorated.
Location is really convenient for ivybridge centre. Mattress in double bedroom very hard.
Would have really liked blinds in the top bedroom. Didn't feel very private and would be more a problem in the summer when light earlier.
Front door very stiff to open.
- Brits (10/5): Exceptional - Spotlessly clean and very nicely furnished. Home from home. The rear garden is a plus, especially for dogs as it's completely fenced in. Close to shops and a nice pub with good food and friendly bar staff. Perfectly located for exploring the surrounding areas, e.g. the moors and beaches.
