Guest Reviews
- Charlotte (5/5): Hot tub not worth it - Cute wee place The additional cost for the hot tub was ridiculous, charging an additional £85 for use of a blow up hot tub that the bubbles don’t even work. And we were not informed of the price until the day we supposed to arrive
The room itself was very small and sleeping with your head right beside the toilet wasn’t pleasant
- david (10/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): relaxing peaceful . - location. views. nothing .
- Chyna Leigh (8/5): - It's located beside a beautiful wee village, lovely countryside side views. Your tucked away, with privacy. I had a lovely weekend the the owner was very helpful.
- Jessica (10/5): Relaxing - Private Nothing it was lovely
- Leeann (9/5): Excellent place for relaxing night or two with great hosts and fantastic facilities. - Very private
Everything needed at property

- Albert Kundai (9/5): It was a nice and enjoyable weekend - The jacuzzi was exceptionally well 📸

- Danielle (9/5): Will be back - Perfect getaway from every day life in a city signal was ok but meant we acrually spent the weekend speaking to eachother not with our heads in phones is made to make u close weither u like to or not was just what me and the mr needed The number provide to contact host didnt work needes updated. Suggested a fly repelent or door cover we had the whole cast of bugs life in our wee cabin at one stage but again ur in the middle of the country you have to expect the wildlife so not a biggy. Would recomend a spare pair of shoes it was wet while we were there the path to the gate is grass and my feet were soaked every time we went through
- Ella (10/5): Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation, especially for the comfort and hospitality of the host. With a small ad - We had a very pleasant stay at this accommodation. The place was very comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was extremely kind and attentive, even providing snacks and drinks for us – a thoughtful touch that made us feel very welcome. The facilities were exactly what we expected, and the host’s attention to detail greatly contributed to our comfort.
The area around the accommodation is absolutely beautiful: the landscapes are picturesque, the air is fresh, and the peaceful surroundings make it a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy nature and unwind. The only aspect that could be improved is the tub. On the website, it appeared to be included in the price, but we were informed about 48 hours before our stay that using it required an extra fee. We understand that these things can happen, but it would be helpful if this information were clearly stated in the listing so guests can better plan their budget and avoid last-minute surprises.

- Leeann (9/5): Wonderful as always. Will most definitely return. - Lots of facilities in a compact space, had everything needed for 2 nights. Decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. Wonderful hot tub. Very private. Great hosts. Hard to find fault with anything, only that the property is very secluded and not close to any amenities- you could not visit if you did not drive.
- Laura And Derek (9/5): - Quiet, scenic location, beautiful sunsets and sheep.. Compact and bijou with pleasant, helpful owners.
Good place for long walks and close to local attractions. Lovely little place but, with mobility problems, It was a little difficult to move around the confined space
- Michelle (10/5): this is our 3rd stay we love this place and its location . the owners are lovely people very helpful . the new hot tub w - amazing peaceful location . fantastic owners . nothing everything was perfect as always
- Ash (10/5): 2 night stay - We liked that it was a nice and quiet area with a beautiful view & few friendly sheep about, Small but yet very cosy & the hot tub was in a nice private area with a lovely wee river beside it. It was nice to listen to while relaxing in the hot tub. The signal & WiFi wasn't that great but we still had a amazing time.
- John (9/5): Enjoyable with beautiful scenery - Very compact but everything needed for a few days stay was available Perhaps a bit short on storage for cases but otherwise as expected

- Kim (10/5): Had a Brillant stay for my husbands birthday. Felt like we were in our own world with no one around us will definitely b -
- Gary (10/5): So much to do & so little time. Will need to return to area & would definitely like to stay again - Location is ideal for an active break or simply relaxing in the unspoilt countryside. A great base to explore the Antrim coast, dark hedges & giant's causeway. Also easy access to Ballymena & train to Belfast or Derry. Very quiet & private. There is a Spar shop in Martinstown to stock up on all supplies Shower stopped working the morning of departure but it's just one of those things & didn't spoil my break at all
- Connor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pamela (10/5): Lovely get away. - Hidden away and no one to disturb you. Could do with some little essentials like soap.
- Robbie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - We climbed up slemish then got lost and walked a marathon through glenariff forest park but fallburn hot tub sorted it out. What an amazing place to stay. Highly recommend. Great hosts and great views!
- Letitia (10/5): Perfect night away - Excellent property! Great facilities
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (10/5): relaxing and peaceful - beautiful location for views . nothing
- Nigel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gloria (10/5): The perfect getaway accommodation with a difference! - Super location, quirky chalet, well appointed and the owner is a complete Gentleman. Nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely nothing
- Jane (10/5): Private and secluded - great peace and quiet but accessible to various parts of Northern Ireland - My neighbours were sheep, and a babbling brook - also, there is a friendly horse
- Jerilyn (8/5): Very good - Really beautiful location, the cabin is perfect for a quiet getaway. Hot tub was a great addition. The property was very comfortable and beautifully designed as well as very private. Additional kitchen utensils such as a sharp knife would have been useful.
- Fiona (5/5): Could be nicer - The room is exactly as the pictures, cosy cute, a converted shipping container decorated well etc
The surrounding area is stunning rolling hills etc, a really beautiful place
The owner was also very kind and responsive to messages on booking.com which is much better than other experiences, so top marks for Comms! Unfortunately the price of the hot tub wasn't communicated anywhere on the booking.com listing nor by message from the owner.
I asked for use of the hot tub and due to the fact we were staying for 2 nights we were charged for 2 nights, despite the fact we didn't need it both nights only 1. Naturally this wasn't communicated as the assumption to use it both nights garnered greater revenue for the host.
I can see now in the other reviews where people call out the price of the hot tub but I hadn't read through these before booking and the price wasn't specified when I asked for use of the hot tub. The fact there was an extra fee was expected this is noted clearly in the listing but the amount is not.
I've paid the full amount without dispute because I'm not a massive scammer. Unfortunately some people are.
One other small point was that due to the build's nature it's rural and I'm unsure how the bathroom attaches to the sewers, but the bathroom was very wiffy when we arrived, the bed is right next to it, so this is less than ideal. Again we didn't complain because the owners had been so nice in communication but when you're slapped with an £85 charge AFTER the fact for 2 days of assumed hot tub use, I'm sure the owner will totally understand that guests don't appreciate that, and will therefore leave perfectly honest, yet unhappy reviews.
Shame because the site could be gorgeous for a little weekend away otherwise.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sinead (10/5): We will defo be back to try in the hotter weather as it was just perfect. - Was a beautiful, cosy and private stay. The host left us Prosecco and snacks which was just lovely. They were very accommodating and friendly. The hot tub was an extra fee but was worth it. Overall a relaxing weekend that we both needed. N/A
- Michelle (10/5): a relaxing weekend with my partner . loved the hot tub and sitting relaxing looking out over the sheep fields and hill - the surroundings. lovely farm land . hill views . brilliant set up . very private . nothing . everything was perfect .
- Zoe (8/5): Excellent - Absolutely beautiful location 👌 Unfortunately hot tub wasn't working 😕
- Julie (10/5): Great location, great hideaway, so relaxing - Stayed one night. Location is good as its very peaceful. However signage at the end of the lane might helpful. The hottub is not included in the price but for an extra charge you can hire it £45 for one night or £85 for 2. But maybe email just to check. Loads of towels. There's a microwave, fridge and cooking ring. Great shower. Shampoo everything provided. A list of takeaways that delivers would ha e been good or menus but good old Google helped. We just drove and picked one up. I didn't dislike anything. It was a great stay, but if improvements, I would say just signage at the end of the lane. Takeaway menus of who delivers. Remember and take flip flops to get to and fr9m the amazing hottub hut. Views are incredible
