In der Waschmaschine befand sich ein tropfnasser Vorleger, den wir nicht entfernen konnten Die Badewanne war sehr klein, man konnte kaum darin duschen.

The children were entertained the whole time with games and books for them to read. The staff also brought out toys from their garden for the kids to play with we will definitely be back in the future Nothing everything was perfect

• Tom (4/5): Great for families, not suitable for remote working - Beautifully decorated and homely looking. Set in a rural location. There was a welcome bottle of beer and 2 small bottles of water and a pint of milk in the fridge, too, which was nice for a coffee in the morning. Lots of local information and leaflets for things to do for longer stays. I only booked 1 night as I was working in the area. WIFI was terrible. Constantly dropping. I was unable to work on my laptop or watch anything on Iplayer properly once I gave up trying to work on my laptop because the internet kept freezing. I had to constantly log out and back in every few minutes, and then I had to message the Host to ask to reboot the router. Which wasn't done. However, she did bring an uncharged mobile device dongle that I was also unable to get to work as neither the laptop of television was able to detect it after 1 hour of charging it up.. The house was freezing cold when I came in around 5pm. No thermostat or instructions to turn on the central heating. Despite a small plug in heater that I had on full power, and made no difference as it was still freezing cold throughout the house. Until the morning, when the central heating came on, but check out was at 10am. I was able to make a log fire in the wood burner, but this only heated the small front room, and it kept going out when the door was fully closed, so I had to leave the fire door open slightly which made it difficult for me to relax. Despite a great welcome manual there wasn't any instructions on how to manage the fire, and which direction to slide the air intake slider. So all in all not very cosy or relaxing.
• Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - Beds are so comfortable I usually struggle to sleep staying elsewhere other than home but the beds were beautiful, the hosts were very friendly and down to earth. Left a lovely welcome basket with treats, wash pods left if needed to use the washing machiene, body wash, soap etc for the shower and bath, even milk in the fridge. The photos of this place don't do it justice it's stunning and a lot bigger than expected. Kids enjoyed board games and we loved the log burner. Would definitely recommend and stay again Thankyou

It is a fantastic location for getting around, but still nice and quiet. It has everything we could have needed and the host was an absolute gem who went out of her way to do what she could for us. Owners were really helpful and welcoming and the welcome hamper was a really lovely extra. Local fish & chips were superb. We had a bit of trouble with the front door lock!

Tea, coffee, cookies and Crisps were a lovely unexpected treat. Would highly recommend! Did not dislike anything, all very good.

• Stuart (10/5): I spent a lovely evening in this great property. Get in, light the log burner, cook and chill out! - Very peaceful location surrounded by fields and horses. Spotlessly clean with great facilities if you like cooking, I was a chef in a previous life so very happy to prepare a nice meal. Everything thought of to make for a very pleasant stay. It was all over to quickly. Didn't get to see much of the surrounding area but did find the local Sainsburys which was very well stocked if you want to spoil yourself. The drive out the next day showed that the countryside is stunning if you like walking. I liked everything but perhaps a few pictures dotted around and some softer lighting options in the lovely lounge with the log burner would make this wonderful property truly exceptional.

• Bryn (10/5): Cosy nook, with a homely feel. - It was perfect, in a peaceful, quaint area,ideal for relaxing and conveniently located to Newcastle. With a supermarket not far from the property. From arrival, noticed it was clean and tidy! And the hosts had gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There was milk in the fridge. A welcome basket with loads of goodies there, for us and the children. The host also came to greet us and instantly made us feel welcome, thank you.
