• Alessandra (9/5): Relax, natura e cultura - Posizione ottimale per stare immersi nel parco delle saline di Trapani, no traffico, no rumore, natura e tranquillità a 15 minuti da Trapani con la possibilità di spaziare in giornata dalla valle del Belice a Erice, da Scopello a Marsala, Mozia, San Vito e le vicinissime Egadi.
• Fefolo (10/5): La freschezza dei ricordi a un passo da Trapani - Tutto eccezionalmente perfetto. Non saprei da dove iniziare. Probabilmente all'accoglienza di Piero e Domenico, vere anime di Cantunera Barbàra, in grado di farci sentire a casa in ogni momento e di dare consigli per farci assaporare al meglio la scoperta di questi splendidi luoghi. A 10 minuti dal centro di Trapani, la struttura è ottima come punto di partenza per girare questa parte di Sicilia. Da qui abbiamo pianificato visite a Trapani Marsala, Segesta, Erice, Mozia, fino a San Vito Lo Capo e la riserva dello Zingaro. Insuperabili le saline su cui si affaccia la struttura, per passeggiate mattutine e serali. La casa è un vero gioiello: colori, oggetti, silenzio, vibra in ogni angolo di ricordi e tradizioni vissute con una freschezza indescrivibile. Possiamo solo dire grazie per averci ospitato! E alla prima occasione torneremo senz'altro!
• Angeliki (10/5): - Mio marito e io abbiamo concluso il 2025 in una casa incantevole, arredata in autentico stile siciliano, che trasmette un bellissimo senso di famiglia e ha risvegliato dolci ricordi d’infanzia. La posizione ci ha permesso di visitare i dintorni e godere di paesaggi stupendi. Piero, il proprietario, è una persona gentilissima e molto accogliente. Anche le nostre due cagnoline sono state accolte con grande disponibilità. Soggiorno meraviglioso, assolutamente consigliato!
• Alexander (10/5): - Sehr angenehmer Gastgeber. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Selbst im Januar gab es im Schlafzimmer Mücken. Mückennetze im Schlafzimmer wären eine nützliche Sache. Oder Mückenstecker.

• Daniele (10/5): - 13 - 18 agosto Casa Cantunera Barbára ci ha regalato scorci da sogno, profumi di mare e luce dorata. 📍 Posizione strategica: Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, Favignana, Trapani, le saline di Marsala, Mazara del Vallo…questi sono solo alcuni dei posti da poter visitare! La casetta è una casa autentica, arredata in ogni minimo particolare in vero stile siculo! Dotata di ogni comfort al suo interno con un giardino dove passare serate d’estate tra pace, chiacchiere e relax. Ma la magia più bella l’abbiamo trovata nell’host Piero: sorrisi sinceri, cuori accoglienti e dolci amici a quattro zampe 🐾💛

• Ian and Helen (10/5): Great place to stay in Nubia. - Piero is an excellent host. He responded very quickly to any queries we had, and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is very well equipped and spacious. The location is quiet, with easy access to Trapani, Marsala and some excellent local wineries. The a/c in the bedroom was not working and Piero attempted to get it fixed, but could not get a technician and the necessary parts until the day we left. He gave us a fan which was good.

Nicely decorated rooms, spacious house. Nice and clean rooms and bathroom with air conditioning in the bedroom. The host greeted us with a tasteful lemonade with lemons from his tree. And he was there, present, at the right time when we needed to speak with him. We also had nice conversations with him out in the garden. Very nice stay. And peaceful for the mind. We will come back. We liked everything about this place.

The host did everything to make us feel at home. - Nicely decorated, fully equipped and complete - Lovely outside spaces - Pleasant living room and well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals - Musquito screens everywhere - It is only a few hundred meters walk to the Salinas where you can watch a beautiful sunset - Pizza's from Pizza Chef in Marausa Nubia is not really a village, but more of a hamlet where there is not much to do or obtain. This didn't bother us, since it is a great starting point for day trips

• Nicoletta (10/5): Excellent! We would go again! - My family of four and my sister stayed here for three days. This accomodation was excellent: extremely clean, kitchen fully equipped, comfortable beds and nicely decorated. The place is kids friendly too: my 5 and 7 year old kids also had a great time. The owner has been really kind and always availabe and responsive for anything we needed. Once we stepped outside the house, we went for walks around the "saline". It is also very close to many other beautuful locations, such as Erice, Trapani, Segesta, Marsala and great beaches. We would definitely stay again!

Piero is the perfect host : so friendly and welcoming, always accessible, ready to help and to provide the best for his guests. His house is beautiful and one can tell how passionately he devoted himself to its renovation and making it a charming place by paying attention to all details, from comfort to decoration. He is also so clearly in love with his region and its treasures and provides a wealth of information to visit the area. we warmly recommend this place to anyone in search of an authentic sicilian experience.
