Guest Reviews
- Susan (8/5): - Relaxing watching the birds in the garden. Road up to the cottage Becareful. Of the potholes.
- Anna (10/5): Would recommend to anyone - Comfortable and cosy, peaceful . Great location for exploring a beautiful part of the country. N/A
- Ltnda (7/5): Lovely break at Ernambrie Cottage - Lovely cottage in a peaceful rural location.
Very clean with comfortable beds. Best nights sleep we'd had in ages.
Loved seeing & hearing the birds.
Will definitely be back 😊 Inside the cottage is a bit dated but comfortable all the same.
There was a slight smell in the main bedroom but not sure where from.
Couldn't find the welcome folder.
Re-cycling facilities would be a bonus.

- Ein Reisender (10/5): - Excellent location just a 5 minute drive from Castle Douglas, but feels like you're in the middle of the country side.
- Anna-Marie (9/5): Beautiful cottage - The cottage is lovely, pristine clean and had everything we needed.
The location has beautiful views.
The owners were very accommodating. The only problem we had was with the area, lots of pubs/restaurants were not serving food or had closed.
It was a 10-minute drive to the closet town, where the places that were open served beautiful view.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Franco (8/5): Very good stay cottage had everything you needed and good parking will definitely try and get back - Location was good for what we had planned with local businesses close by If anything would have preferred a shower screen instead of a shower curtain
- Huw (9/5): Superb - A very nice cottage. We went as a family and it was ideal. Very warm. Lovely beds. Only minutes from Castle Douglas and its attractions
- Ollie (8/5): A comfortable, relaxing cottage. - Ernambrie Cottage was in a nice location on a farm, it was very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed by the owner. The week was good value for money and the local area had lots of stuff to do. Minor issues: WiFi (if possible) would have been nice but not essential, the kitchen was missing a few things like a baking tray, there was no welcome folder so we didn’t have any information on things like heating and bins/recycling.

- Ivor (6/5): Pleasant -
