Guest Reviews
- Steven (10/5): Very enjoyable weekend in a lovely modern cottage - The property is well located - in a country setting but not far from town, and very close to lots of wineries. It is very quiet, comfortable, clean and had plenty of space for our party of 2 couples. Nothing

- Sophia (10/5): Lovely weekend getaway - The house was beautiful with huge windows looking out to stunning nature views. It was so peaceful, we loved watching the cows, kangaroos and other wildlife. It was in a convenient location, so close to town, wineries etc.
House was well equipped with all top quality appliances, kitchen ware, towels and linen. I loved the feather pillows they were super comfy.
- shanker (10/5): Exceptional place to rest and recharge - Beautiful property set in stunning farm / winery Nothing
- Peter (10/5): - The Host was extremely helpful in arranging our stay. Above and beyond.
The house is beautifully appointed. Lovely touch to have homemade chocolate slice, and cheese & biscuits on the kitchen table. The location is great.. so many birds.. wild life.. (and cows).. Hot tub super under the stars at night. Will visit again.

- Leah (10/5): Amazing stay in Mudgee, already want to come back ! - Loved High Grove cottage ! The views , the interior and the hot tub are just some of the highlights. Kim was the best host very informative and even left some homemade brownies, Brie, strawberries and crackers for us to enjoy on arrival which was a lovely touch. Would definitely come back to Highgrove cottage in a heartbeat ! Nothing
- Rose (9/5): A comfortable Country retreat for 2 couples - The property was well furnished and the deck with hot spa was excellent. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Central heating was necessary as the fire was not usable in the tv lounge and limited wood provided for the main fire. A log fire was a main reason for booking this property, so it would have been nice to not have to ration the wood given the price we paid. Great communication with the host / owner. Nice to have quality crockery and glassware. The way the beds were made with multiple flat sheets meant nothing stayed tucked in and easily got tangled.
- Geoffstew (9/5): Well equiped farm cottage with a mdern in a beautiful rural location, close to wineries and Mudgee. - Lovely setting amongst wineries and grazing paddocks. Spacious, comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen, great open fire place. Helpful hosts.
- Kimberley (10/5): Absolutely gorgeous! - What an absolutely beautiful property! Everything was just devine, the furnishings, the heated flooring, the fireplace, the hot tub, comfortable bedding, the location and views at sunset, we couldn’t fault a thing. The host had great communication and welcomed us with some delicious brownies and cheese to start the weekend. Thank you so much for having us!
- Wensy (10/5): Great getaway - Great location, cosy and clean accommodation. Very responsive and friendly host. Nothing
- Maria (10/5): The best short stay I have ever had, exceptional cottage, great location, close to several wineries. - We loved everything about the property, it was very well appointed, the furnishings were great quality and the layout was exceptional. So much room for 4 of us, the kitchen was a chefs dream, we sat around the bench with the lovely cheese platter and brownies that were left from the host. We took advantage of the fireplace with the ample wood that was cut and also sat outside on the deck prior to it getting too cold to sit out. The beds were so comfy we didn't want to get out, the rooms were so warm with lots of cupboard space. The grounds were lovely to walk around, we saw kangaroos almost all day. From our end there was nothing that you could improve on, thought about a firepit, it would have been difficult given that it is a wooden deck, but that is not a complaint or what I think is missing, if I had to say anything at all, that may be an inclusion.
- Kerryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robbie (10/5): Highly recommend Highgrove cottage for your Mudgee trip - The house was very well put together, with lots of little things considered throughout. Location was great, just a few minutes out of the town and surrounded by great wineries while still being private and quiet.
Kim was a great host, providing clear instructions and even some little snacks and a hand written welcome note which we thought was a nice touch. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mudgee.
- Faye (9/5): Beautiful home in great location - Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting, brilliantly located for both the town and wineries. We had a minor issue with water which was sorted so promptly that it didn't cause any hassle. This is the perfect place to stay in Mudgee - highly recommend! We liked everything!
- Susan (10/5): We enjoyed a wonderful few days at Highgrove Cottage. Arrival was straightforward, the house felt new and welcoming and - It was peaceful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable. Nothing
- Ornel (9/5): Great country luxury accommodation. A gem in the vineyard. - Everything. Comfortable bed. Great kitchen. Very efficient and cool aircon this summer. Large dining. Cozy atmosphere . Lots of wild animals like kangaroos or wallabies, hares, owl, and different kinds of birds. Location is great and the host is very responsive. The property is surrounded by vineyards. Wineries and cellar doors are just nearby. Their Starlink was down. So no internet during our 3 nights stay. So no streaming TV. For those who are afraid of bugs, there are plenty in this place. Love the bugs and you‘ll be fine.
- Katherine (9/5): Relaxing - It was lovely and very peaceful.
- Charmian (10/5): Very comfortable, well provisioned, great hosts, great location. Highly recommended. -
- Katrina (10/5): A perfect place to stay!!! - Beautifully presented, high end fittings & appliances, super comfortable beds and very clean
- Brian (10/5): A very peaceful comfortable stay close the ammenities of Mudgee - The location and the quality of the accommodation Could have a table for bags, very minor
