• Nicola (8/5): Super Wanderunterkunft mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - Familiäre Gestaltung der Unterkunft, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Tolle Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Lediglich zwei Toiletten für viele Hostel-Gäste halte ich für zu wenig.

• Dieter (9/5): Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und ich komme gern wieder! - Sehr nettes Personal ! Lockere und angenehme Atmosphäre ! Leckeres Müssli-Frühstück ! Trotz Mehrbettensaal gut geschlafen ! Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ! Der Waschraum war in der Ausstattung und Funktion sehr gut, doch für das gesamte Gästehaus etwas klein. Ich war Frühaufsteher, um dem Andrang zu entgehen!
• Claudia (10/5): - Wunderschön hergerichtet, mit allem und mehr als gewöhnlicher Ausstattung in der Küche. Bad und Lagerzimmer liebevoll eingerichtet, mit Pflanzen dekoriert und komfortabel mit Steckdosen, Licht an jedem Bett. Sehr freundliches Personal, eine 100% Empfehlung!

• Mur (9/5): Avara, valoinen ja loistava ensikosketus hostelleihin! - Pidin isosta pihasta ja tilavasta ”ladosta”/keittiöstä jossa oli paljon tilaa hengailla muiden kaa:)
• Svenja (8/5): - Frühstück gegen Aufpreis möglich. Liegt direkt am Malerweg. Modern, sauber, ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß von Rathen (und den dortigen Restaurants). Nur an einigen Betten sind Steckdosen. Das Frühstück wird bei der Rezeption aufgebaut, es gibt dort aber keinen richtigen Platz zum essen, das hat alles etwas unbequem gemacht. Getränke und Snacks gibts nur während der Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption (fanden die Getränke mit 3€ auch nicht günstig)
• Viktoriia (9/5): Herzlich Willkommen - Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Es war schön ruhig, die Umgebung ist wirklich hervorragend. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, und der Kaffee hat besonders gut geschmeckt. Gerne wieder!

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, eine schöne Holzheizung in der Scheune und eine Feuerstelle hinter der Scheune mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Küche, Bad und Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut organisiert, mit vielen Elementen aus der Natur. Ich empfehle dieses Hostel allen Wanderern.

• Stefano (7/5): Nice stay at the hostel - Everything is very standard for an hostel. Position is great, very close to Bastei bridge (you need to cross the river by ferry, but the hostel provide you with the pass to have the ferry for free). I chose not to take the breakfast because it was not really worthed in my opinion (a bit too little choice).
• Jakub (9/5): - Wygodne łóżka, "sklepik" z lodami/pizzą/kawą na recepcji, wspólna sala wieczorna z piecykiem, wygodne łóżka, spoko prysznic. Obsługa trochę "sucha", ale jest git ;)
• Wendy (10/5): Perfect hostel! - Het perfecte hostel! Gezellig, sfeervol, comfortabel. In de avond gaat de haard aan, wat zorgt voor leuke ontmoetingen met andere reizigers. Helemaal niets.

• Natalia (9/5): Polecam - Pokój czysty ze wspólnymi prysznicami, byłam poza sezonem więc kolejka do pryszniców nie była długa - nie wiem jak jest w sezonie. Kuchnia, stoły i ogólnie przestrzeń wspólna ulokowane w klimatycznej stodole. Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. Na miejscu za opłatą dostępna sauna.

• Doris (10/5): - Ich war noch nie in einem so zauberhaft-schönem Hostel (und ich war schon in vielen). Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, die Mitarbeiter:innen strahlen etwas total warmes und herzliches aus. Alles ist liebevoll und oft witzig beschriftet. Es gibt eine toll ausgestattete Küche und einen großen Garten. Man spürt, dass viel Herzblut steckt im Hinterland-Hostel.

• Philip (10/5): Good clean hostel with friendly staff - recommend if on a budget - Very well run hostel with good facilities clean room and shared showers. Lots of places to eat in and outside. Lights and power over bed. Friendly helpful staff and sold emergency food as no shops in the area Not much not to like it was a little way off the Maleveg which we were walking but we were aware of that and it seemed the best option available

• Jeremy (7/5): Good - The place is beautiful with outside barn setting and a spacious garden. The owners were friendly and they had cold beer. It’s a little walk from the station. Breakfast Fussy with too many organic cereals and oak milk options. I’d have much preferred a roll and coffee, the standard German fare. The wasps, made it difficult to eat outside.
• Michal (8/5): Very good - The staff was amazing. Very friendly and nice. The place is beautiful with great garden outside. The room was tiny, and not well designed, so not good use of space. The facilities (shared toilets and kitchen) is not suitable for the amount of people that uses them. So it was always full and crowded. Also, just next to the kitchen there are game tables like table tennis, so that adds to the cheos of the kitchen... I didn't enjoy making dinner and spending my time there unfortunately.
• Stephanie (10/5): A bit pricey but worth a quiet’s night sleep - Fast internet, amazing view, quiet, well equivalent kitchen. There’s a very short window for check-in/ checkout/breakfast. If you need say, a towel outside of 4-7pm you won’t get one.

Other than that the hostel has a great location if you want to go hiking and explore the beautiful landscape. They even offer free ferry tickets. We don’t have any complaints

• De (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly place, the way hostels used to be. Beautiful location. It has a kitchen if you want to cook or there is a restaurant just a kilometer away. Stairs to second floor is very steep and if you sleep in the room at the top you have to go down to the toilet.

• Andrew (5/5): Noisy shared bathroom - Common area has cooking facilities and wood burner. Check-in was simple and good walks nearby. Our room was opposite the shared bathrooms. Other guests came to wash at 1am and 1.30am, laughing and joking. It's not a good place for a bedroom. The bunkbed frame was also very squeaky. Cost was high considering it's a shared bathroom.
• Tal (8/5): Very good - Very friendly staff, very spacious common area and well-equipped kitchen. They even had board games! Clean rooms. Great location. Towels available for a €2 fee. The kitchen was in a different building from the rooms. The lights in the shower as well as the water turn off automatically which is an inconvenience. Relatively poor internet connection (able to support a voice/video call but with poor quality at times)
• Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, independently run place in an amazing location. The facilities left nothing to be desired, exactly what you want from a hostel - good wifi, good kitchen facilities, clean beds and bathrooms, friendly staff - all in top shape. The dog is an added bonus!! And they get you a pass for the local ferry for the duration of your stay. Can't really think of anything honestly.

• Ananyabanerjee (10/5): Exceptional - The hostel was spotless clean! I stayed at the 10 bed dorm which was on the attic floor. It was very hot outside but there was a stand fan in the room which helped a lot. The bed was soft and comfy with charging points behind the bed. The location is great. It is 15 mins by foot to the station from where there are regular trains to Dresden. Also 15 mins to the ferry which takes you across the river. You get a guest card where the cost of the ferry is included. The shared bathroom was also very clean. Overall an amazing stay!
• Rogers (10/5): Amazing stay for travellers! - Amazing hidden gem! The facilities were really clean and they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. They helped us with all our queries and it felt like we were staying with family. We had a pizza party in the evening, they were extremely generous with everything. I couldn’t say a bad word, I would 100% recommend.

It is 200% satisfaction from the time we lived there. Super friendly guys and super clean space.

• Mirjam (9/5): Awesome place, great nature - The hostel was altogether great! Great facilities, quite luxury, everything super clean and quiet. You can get food there as well and chill in the beautiful garden. And we got tickets for the boat to the main attractions. We arrived early but could drop off our stuff. All was good!
