- Diane (10/5): - Love the little touches like cafetiere coffee, milk, butter, jam, and even bread for toast. Makes a big difference. Also like all the lamps and fairy lights in the room as creates a lovely ambience. Really peaceful location and a great pub down the road - what's not to like... Minor thing, but when you have long hair to wash, a shower over the bath was difficult for me, but guess the layout of the bathroom may be difficult for a full standing shower It certainly would not stop us from coming back as a lovely place.

This was a much appreciated surprise after a busy day at a conference the day before. The host left clear instructions, but I was still unable to get warm water from the bath tap.

- Stuart (10/5): Pleasurable disconnect to the outside world - Honestly, everything about the stay and the owner was perfect. Couldn't have asked for better service! Very quiet cosy and comfy. The seclusion is real, you're not off the beaten track, your off the OFF of of the beaten track. The disconnect from the outside world is real, and it was a gift that needs experienced by all. It was great value too, the owner was responsive and made every effort to accommodate us as we were travelling a fair distance the day of check in and didn't know exactly when we'd arrive. The only thing to mention is if you are wanting to travel to the village or get a taxi, it's a bit of a kerfuffle to get there. The taxi couldn't see the lane, and the walk is short and easy, but at night there are no lights to guide you so you'll need a torch. But if you're looking for seclusion it is perfect
