• RJ (10/5): Highly recommend! - Very clean, very quiet and very beautiful! We were able to park inside and, though there was a circular staircase to get up to the apartment, it was not excessively narrow or steep. Could be an issue for people who can't handle stairs but we had no trouble bringing the luggage up and down. We stayed for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The host was very responsive to our messages and gave us good advice for the area. She is very easy to work with and even left us goodies at the beginning and end of our stay. I would happily come back here and spend several weeks! We went hiking at several of the gorgeous mountain locations and this apartment was centrally located to all of them. We even crossed the border into Austria for an amazing lunch and even it was close! The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. We really appreciated the washer and the clothes easily hung dry in the bathroom, though there was a clothes line outside if we had chosen to use it. There were only two of us so we never used the second bedroom. There was absolutely nothing you didn't like. We would go back in a heartbeat.

• Andrew (10/5): Totally relaxing experience in a beautiful location. - Beautiful apartment with the kindest host. Away from the hustle and bustle of Bled. Gorgeous location. A barn conversion, amongst fields and trees. It was beautifully furnished, well equipped and extremely spacious. A real home from home. There were beers, eggs, water and cute slippers left at the start of our stay and treats for the end. Spela is a thoughtful and very kind lady. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. • Dror (10/5): A peaceful stay in nature with a kind host, well-equipped kitchen, and easy access to Lake Bled. - We spent a week at Apartment Krnicar in Zgornje Gorje, and it was one of our best stays ever. The apartment was a wonderful surprise and a perfect base for exploring Lake Bled, the surrounding villages, and Triglav National Park. The location is peaceful, surrounded by greenery and nature. The host, Spela, was the most generous and kind host we have met. She did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, and Spela left beers and juice in the fridge, along with a basket full of dried fruits and sweets as a welcome treat. The porch with its hanging chairs was very inviting and relaxing, and the living room and kitchen area were spacious and cozy. You have to walk through one of the bedrooms to reach the living room and kitchen, and there is a narrow staircase leading up to the apartment. Since it is in the attic, a few spots have low beams, but that was not a problem for us, since we're not too tall :-) Parking is right below the apartment. A great restaurant we returned to several times, Pizzerija Betlehem, is only a five minute drive away. It was truly one of our best accommodation experiences, and we are very thankful to Spela for her warm hospitality and all the thoughtful touches throughout the week. Access is through a narrow staircase, and some parts of the attic have low beams, but it really didn't bother us too much.

De host was vriendelijk en ontzettend attent. Bij vertrekken kregen we nog wat lokale producten mee. Ik raad iedereen aan hier een keer te verblijven! Niets, alles was perfect!

Anfitriones super amables, nos dejaron agua con gas en la nevera y al salir unos detalles de la zona. Muy recomendable. Habitación al final de la casa muy calurosa, justo esa con cama de matrimonio no tiene aire acondicionado.

• Milena (10/5): Amazing and well-stocked peaceful accommodation just outside of Bled - My partner and I stayed here with another couple and we felt right at home! It was truly a peaceful place and we couldn't get over how well stocked it was. It was so nice to buy ingredients for a dinner and not worry about things like oil, balsamic vinegar, seasoning etc. We wanted to pack sandwiches for a day trip and were pleased to find that there was tinfoil. All the rooms were extremely clean and there was plenty of extra blankets for when sitting on the balcony. There were also sun loungers that we could use in the garden. We loved the hanging chairs on the balcony and spent a lot of time reading in them! The green hills and views from each window were breathtaking and the birds in the evening were lovely to listen to (we even heard an owl during the night). Sheltered parking (it was hot and sunny) right up to the stairs of the apartment was also a plus! The location was great as you got to be in nature while still being really close to Bled town. We liked that the host was there if we needed anything but also gave us our privacy- and they even gave us a gift of local treats on our last day which was very sweet! We would go back in a heartbeat and kept saying we want to stay forever! The road up to the area is very winding with a steep drop at times and we are used to driving on the other side of the road so it took a day or two to get used to it! Not the hosts fault at all but just to be aware :) Also tiny thing for us but you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other one.

• Christopher (10/5): A fabulous apartment in a beautiful location. - A stunning apartment. The apartment is spacious, modern, well equipped, bright and very comfortable. We particularly loved the outside balcony area. It is situated in a very quiet village and has great views from both the apartment and from the garden. An outside eating table and sun loungers were perfect for relaxing after a day walking. It is an easy drive into Bled and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend staying here. Not an issue but be aware if booking that access is via narrow stairs.

The apartment was well equipped and we had everything we needed. There was parking below the property, a lovely garden and beautiful covered balcony for relaxing on. The host communicated well and we feel so privileged to have been able to stay in her beautiful apartment. Absolutely nothing!

• Fiona (9/5): Superb - Spacious apartment, beautiful views, swinging chairs on the balcony. It was a lovely surprise to find eggs waiting for us in the fridge. The air-conditioning struggled against the heat but it didn't spoil our stay. It would be good to have some dishes suitable for cooking meals in the oven.
• Claire (10/5): 3 days in heaven! - Our stay at Apartment Krnicar was exceptional! Such a beautiful location with a view of the valley and mountains. The host, Spela, met us and had left some essentials for us, but the apartment was the star of the show! The balcony was our favourite area with the hanging chairs - such a relaxing place to sit after busy days exploring the area. Highlights for us was the Vintgar Gorge and Lake Bohinj. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Nothing. It was all magical!

• Lars (9/5): Superb - Die Lage ist unglaublich gut für Wanderungen. We had a very warm Welcome and a very uncomplicated stay in the spacious appartment. There was an open "balcony"-like room with very cosy hanging chairs and a really nice view outside. It was roofed so that it could be used during all kind of weather conditions.

The porch was very nice to enjoy throughout the day and evening. Very close to Vintgar Gorge. The two bedrooms were connected, you had to walk through one to get to the living space.

The host waited for is with fresh eggs, which we made a great breakfast ín the morning. Just superlativuses I can speak about this place.

• Agata (8/5): Very good - Located in a quite area, with an excellent view and a nice tarrace. Well equipped, comfortable beds. Clean and calm. Nice and spaceful place to relax. You need to go upstairs to the apartment. Basically it is not a problem, however we were with 2 years old son and stairs were to difficult for him to use.
