La proximité des lieux intéressants
- Sylvia (6/5): Pleasant - room was clean Location isnt very good - there is nothing around and need the car to go to town and restaurants.

- yael (10/5): Great value and nice staff - Loved the facilities, nice AC and room was nice. Staff are great and helpful. Loved the app they share Location is only good if you have a car
- Figueroa Sialer (7/5): bien - Las camas estaban excelentes
- Kasey (7/5): A really nice place but not in the middle of the jungle as I thought it would be - Very clean. The gym area was lovely and had the weights I needed. Kitchen, pool and hang out area were all wonderful. A cool place It was not quite what I expected in terms of location - it’s not in the middle of the jungle, rather in a neighborhood down a road from town (about a 15 min walk from town)
- marta (5/5): Correcto - Alojamiento aceptable.

- Marinaroberta (10/5): - Un clima molto piacevole. Tranquillo. Pulito. Cucina disponibile. Stanza grande e pulita.

- Lloyd (7/5): Clean and simple. Staff are very friendly. - Staff were awesome. Super friendly. Very clean throughout. Slightly out of center but the walk is absolutely fine. Standard rooms downstairs have no AC which is a problem as they are super small and it’s a super humid location and they say you need to store towels in your room. This means the rooms get almost unbearably hot and humid and the fans are quite old and not effective.
Can’t use the kitchen to make breakfast which is slightly annoying.
- Carolina (7/5): Lovely, super clean and friendly place - The staff is so nice. How chill the place is. You really feel lat home. I love places with common areas where you can talk to people and make your own food This is very personal, as I am a light sleeper. I was in room 4 and could hear everything that was going on in the kitchen. Once I started using earplugs, the issue was solved
- Alwert (10/5): -
- Pavel (5/5): - The staff are very helpful and nice. It is a pretty nice place. I think, the owner has a bit of a disturbing vibe for that place. Also when i told him about stinking water in the wash basin. He didn't investigate or put signs " do not use " He said weird you are another person who said that. Obviously the shower is going through the solar panel so it is boiled. So Do not brash your teeth there and drink the water from the shower wash basin !!! I just might just saved your trip. We bought bottled water.
- Deborah (10/5): Wonderfully Unique Property - Charming multilevel hotel with comfortable rooms and small pool. Good breakfast and the owner Esteban was amazing in helping us with bookings tours. Many great restaurants very close. Not a negative but definitely need to be able to climb stairs. Rooms on many levels with outside metal staircases.

- Kinga (8/5): -
- Davide (10/5): -
- Nguyen (8/5): This is a wonderful and cozy place to stay, as it’s in a convenient location with great amenities and views. - We loved the views and convenience. All the furniture was comfortable and everything we needed was there. More lighting would be better along the staircases.
- Castiblanco Castano (8/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): -
- Becky (10/5): Wonderful! - The property is beautiful and I took full advantage of the bird’s nest to watch for birds at sunrise, the swimming pool in the afternoon to cool off, and the lounge area for chatting with other travelers throughout the evening. Esteban also hooked me up with some great tours! Such a wonderful hotel!
- Arthur (9/5): -
- Amelia (10/5): - Beautiful and well kept place, lovely pool and communal terrace and kitchen was well organised and clean. We kindly received a room upgrade from Zach, the owner, and our room and the shared bathroom were both spacious and very comfortable. Zach was really helpful with activity suggestions and recommendations and the hotel’s guide is great for this as well. The hotel is a little out of town but this made it very peaceful and it was super easy to get the bus to the national park and order taxis. Would definitely stay again! Nothing
- Christian (10/5): Relaxing and pure nature - It’s a very cozy and relaxing place. The location is amazing and very peaceful. A great place to relax and to explore the surroundings.
- Alan (6/5): Okay - Spacious, clean, lots of birds, kitchen well equipped, good shower and nice pool. Esteban was very informative and accommodating. Lack of security in that there was no door lock on our front door other than one bedroom. We were asked to put a chain across the bottom of our stairs with a privacy sign on it to stop people walking into our apartment . In the middle of a noisy residential area with lots of barking dogs and traffic noise. Right outside our bedroom window was something called the birds nest seating area which attracted other guests to chat loudly outside our window making in difficult to sleep. I thought that it was naughty putting a surcharge of 3% on my credit card unless I paid by cash. This was the only place in eight places that we visited that did that. The price should be the price that you pay on Booking.com. Photos of the pool area are very flattering compared to reality. Huge amount of stairs to carry heavy cases up for someone that might struggle, including a tight spiral staircase.
- Shijin (9/5): Superb - Lots of facilities, gym, pool, bird-nest view, fully equipped kitchen, dart and more.
The brothers who own are nice and friendly.
The dog is also a highlight of the stay :). Nothing really!. If the water in the pool was warm then it would have been perfect !
- Jemma (7/5): Good -
- Gesine (10/5): Great common areas - We were happy with our stay at Villa Jaquelina. The best part are the common areas: the terrace, the "fitness center terrace", the netting to lie on to enjoy the sunsset and the pool. The staff is friendly and the common kitchen is practical. Attention: As they propose breakfast they appreciate not to use the kitchen during this time. Activities start quite early, so we were usually finished before they started with the preparations and a small overlap timewise wasn't a problem.
- Kezia (8/5): Very good - The hotel in general. The room was very little, did not look like that in the picture and it was written garden view, but we had no view ( view on the stairs ..)
- Yair (6/5): Less suitable for families - Not suitable for families in my opinion. Most of the hotel is shared spaces and the apartment’s separation from the shared spaces is not clear and there is no door with a lock to keep the living room separated.
The equipment in the kitchen was old, broken and pilling.
- Melanie (8/5): Rooftop glamping experience - Rooftop glamping. There’s no AC so each bed area needs a fan. They did provide one extra but the loft fan still didn’t work. The shower was gloriously cold (hot water was an option).
In one of the downpours the rain soaked the single hanging bed. Thankfully we had a free bed still.
It was a cool stay, but damn that’s a lot of stairs. Watching the lightning storm from there was very cool.
- Joe (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff and quirky layout with some interesting places The fan in the room felt, sounded, and looked like it would shake itself free of the ceiling and fall atop you in bed if you turned it up.
- Gerardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benjamin (9/5): Very good value for money - Privat and nice rooms but also a big terrace to get to know the others, kitchen area was very nice
- Paul (6/5): This turned out to be a clean bargain room for three solo travelers. This prop is not appropriate for anyone with ambula - The staff were personable, friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities were immaculate. No concerns with cleanliness. The pool was convenient and refreshing. Parking was free and it is reasonably close to local attractions. The property is showing its age and as an older adult I was terrified climbing the stairs and ramps. The ramps were steep and one set of concrete steps incline was so severe I nearly fell twice. The rooms didn’t have any televisions. This was not a problem for me but my two colleagues were quite upset.
- Axel (10/5): Exceptional - the “room” on the top level is a pretty awesome experience. very friendly and helpful owner and staff
- Sandra (10/5): Amazing stay in Quepos was so much more than a room. - This was so much more than a room! The friendly and knowledgeable staff offered guidance, much appreciated as a solo traveler. The design of the hotel is very beautiful, multi levels with lovely gardens and spaces for reflection, yoga, conversation. It is located at a comfortable walking distance from town so it is quiet , with birdsong instead of traffic noise. There were many stairs, BUT there was always someone there to help me with my too heavy suitcase, and the design on a steep hillside allowed for privacy and tasteful interesting spaces.
- Lillian (9/5): We enjoyed 3 relaxing days at Villas Jacquelina. Our room was quiet and clean and had everything we needed. The vegan b - Very comfortable and lovely hotel in the hills above Quepos. It was quiet and relaxing without any city noises or tourist bustle.
- Assadi (8/5): Very good - The floor The circulation
- Nicole (8/5): Very good -
- Coline (10/5): Exceptional - The place offers many different activities to spice up the trip, very unique and appreciated.
- Emk (10/5): Exceptional - This place is 10 min walk feom Quepos town situated on a hill top with incredible views. The bus station in town takes you straight to Manuel Antonio & Espandilla Beach for less than $1. The busses run every 10-15 mins, and it takes about 20 minutes. The hosts are very friendly and provide you with so much information. They have daily activities such as group workouts and pasta making (this was great). Plenty of kitchen facilities if you plan on cooking, we cooked 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Great vibes all round and met some great people. Beds were also super comfty. Nothing bad
- Fabian (10/5): Exceptional - This was such a lovely and pieceful place. I will definitely stay there again as soon as I will be back in Costa Rica.
- Pascal (10/5): Exceptional - Large and comfortable family room, nice staff All electricity was switched at 10pm including the ceiling fans, making bedrooms quite hot
- Cristina (9/5): I wish we could have stayed longer - Very friendly staff and the place is amazing!! It is such a dream to have breakfast while watching so many birds
- Hideo (10/5): Fantastic hostel with great atmosphere - Cozy, great location (close to town but away from the noise), friendly staff (Esteban was super helpful), places to relax and hang out None
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place and amazing vibe! Esteban is super nice and helps with everything you need. 100% recommended!
- Kahina (9/5): cute/cosy and welcoming plcae - a super nice community place. Quiet, nice atmosphere. we liked all different spaces to chill, the gym the contrast Therapy ! and the nice view
- Yohann (10/5): Great stay with beautiful spaces - We loved our stay here! We booked two extra nights because we felt so comfortable. You get the service of a hotel but the good vibes of a hostel. Loved it!
- Nathaniel (8/5): Very good - Good value hotel for visiting Manuel Antonio. The breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful.
- Benedikt (8/5): Very good - The staff was super friendly! We did enjoy the extra activities like yoga/meditation
- Lucas (10/5): Great vibes. - Easy to find. Secluded enough to be away from crowds but close enough to be minutes away from food and the beach. Easily walkable. Friendly owners. Delicious breakfast. No complaints
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beachy (10/5): Awesome place to get away and relax! - Excellent staff , does a great job at making you feel part of the family. Love the hammocks and spacious feel of the property. I accidentally booked a shared room, more my own fault , than theirs. I believe they only have one. They did help me find another room that wasn’t shared and it was excellent!
- Harry (8/5): Very good - Owners were legends, had an amazing stay. Would definitely come back The only reason it's not a 10 is because of the extra 15 dollar cost for the ice bath and sauna per use.
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very clean the personal was very helpful and the breakfast was great 😃👍
- Simon (7/5): Good -
- Jovana (10/5): Exceptional - My family and I had an amazing time at Villas Jacquelina. The way the villa has being built is what makes it beautiful, unique and enjoyable. We felt like we were at home, we not only had rooms, i felt like we had a house there, with the terrace, a lot of trees plants around and the kitchen included. Very good breakfast prepared by the ladies who work there. The rooms were cute, white inside and a window for natural light for us to see in the morning, the stairs, the hammocks, the pool. everything was so great. Another thing that we appreciated was that the host offered us coconut water when we arrived to the villa. that was very appreciated by me and my family ;) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING A GREAT HOST!
- Nicolas (9/5): Superb -
- Jordan (10/5): I will be staying here again the next time I visit CR. - I love the attention to small details that made our stay more comfortable such as clean linen supplied and organized common areas. That I did not stay longer.
- Delia (10/5): We so much enjoyed our stay! - The location of the villa is super, nearby the center, but still in a quiet place. The villa has a special charm and the people coming there. We were welcomed friendly by Esteban and he gave us the info we needed. The breakfast was amazing and the whole stay. We were there only for one night on our way to Drake Bay however, we would have loved to stay at least few more nights. All the facilities are fantastic. A chill location. Many thanks for taking good care of us. Not the case
- Dominique (9/5): It was really great thanks a lot ! - Very nice view and people!
Good breakfast as well Maybe use another curtain to protect the bed and the kitchen from the rain (in the glamping room)
- Deanna (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (9/5): Lovely spot in Quepos - Excellent place to stay if you are visiting Manuel Antonio. Close to Quepos which has all the necessary buses and transport links as well as reasonably priced supermarkets, ATMs etc. The staff were super, super friendly and great at answering questions and helping us with taxis.
- Mirjam (9/5): Lovely staff and great terrace - Nice hotel in a green area. It's more a guest house than a hotel because it's a lot more personal because of the lovely staff. The rooms are simple but very clean, big bathroom and lots of plants everywhere, which I loved. The terrace is fantastic. We saw many birds incl. the red macaws fly by. There is a kitchen for guests to use. The pool was also nice to have in the heat. It takes about 15min to walk into Quepos and it's definitely a nicer place to stay than in Quepos town, IMHO.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - We felt right at home at this fun and unique family hotel. There is so much do to both at the hotel and around the area of Quepos. This place is perfect for travellers wanting a funky, playful, and relaxing experience. Staff helped us arrange for tours to Manuel Antonio park easily. Breakfast in the morning was always amazing and is vegetarian friendly. Hotel also has laundry services! Highly recommend Villas Jaquelina!
- Jérômie (9/5): Comfy beds in a hostel at a nice location - Comfortable beds
a fan (no AC) which made sleeping possible
Very clean, no bugs except in the bathroom
Shared bathroom only with 1 other room
Helpful staff
Great breakfast On booking it said the payment will be deducted 2 days before what didn't happen, I had to pay it there. Not a big problem but keep it in mind when you book through booking
Bugs in the bathroom
- Lyn (10/5): Exceptional - Location just outside town, with plenty of flora and fauna in and around the property. Poll was good for a dip at almost anytime. Loved the laid back vibe. Tours organised through host were also spot on. Nothing
- Rajini (9/5): An all around fun, unique, and memorable experience! - Our family really enjoyed our stay at Villa Jacquelina and would definitely stay there again. We had room with three beds and a private bathroom that worked our very well for our family of 4. The room was very clean.
We really loved the outdoor terrace area near the common kitchen (the breakfast was the best out of 5 hotels that we stayed at in Costa Rica) and found everyone to be super hospitable. The pool was cute and our favorite part was the breath breath work and yoga classes that took place on the terrace. The stairs were a little tricky for little ones- not great for folks who have trouble climbing stairs, but also a part of what adds to the charm and vibe of the place. Not a deal breaker.
