• Stefanija (6/5): Very convenient area in Meguro! - Property was a bit outdated but had some amenities that we appreciated, bar with a face cleanser or hair products was appreciated, soft drinks, coffee and tea. This must be the hardest beds I have slept in my life, unfortunately. Please do something about it.

Les couverts en plastique et les assiettes jetables pour le petit déjeuner. À l’heure de la prise en compte de l’environnement ce n’est pas génial.

The location was great - Really close to the train station and Meguro River, but not too busy an area. Rooms were adequate for Tokyo and everything was clean and orderly. Pyjamas were also nice! Nothing particularly bad to note really. Bathroom in the reception area was shared with the Blues Club next door, which was a little strange, but otherwise everything was nice.

• Juhi (7/5): Decent stay - Location - 5-7 mins walk from Meguro station, which is on the Yamanote line. It was the cheapest option by a distance within our budget range. Overall quite clean. The double room was too small for two people, which is a common concern in Japan. The staff wasn’t the most helpful, which I’m pointing out because I otherwise found staff quite helpful in all other hotels on my trip.

• Bailey (10/5): Great value, great location, and great staff! - The location of this hotel was perfect - right in the heart of Meguro. The breakfast was exceptional, there were so many options. Additionally, they also provide heaps of amenities (face wash, body lotion, earphones, washcloths, razors, etc) by the front desk for guests. One thing that we really enjoyed was that the hotel held out luggage even after checkout! We had a very late flight, so the hotel holding our luggage for that day so we could get a little more exploring in without dragging our luggage around all day was a huge weight off our shoulders. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful! Nothing!

• Joana (10/5): Amazing. - Next to the train station. Good size room and bathroom for Japan standards. This was my initial stay in Japan and all of the other hotel rooms couldn’t even compare. If I ever go back to Japan, this will be the hotel chosen! The breakfast was good but could have more variety.

The biggest problem I had was that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It's basically just a box spring with a small mattress pad on top. While the rest of the room was amazing the bed really detracted from the hotel experience as a whole.

The beds were a little hard but otherwise no issues with the hotel.

• Mina (1/5): Extremely unsafe and filthy – beware!!! - Nothing. We did not proceed with check-in at Meguroholic Hotel due to the immediate concerns we encountered upon arrival. However, it is important to note that we were physically present at the property and our passports were checked by staff before we made the decision to leave. Despite this, the hotel is now claiming that we were not present at check-in, which is simply not true. From the moment we entered the property, we were hit with an overwhelming smell of cigarettes mixed with a musty, mold-like odor. This alone made the environment feel unclean and uncomfortable. The hotel also shares the building with a nightclub with live music (photo attached), which added to the uneasy atmosphere. Additionally, the bathroom stall located below the reception area was wooden, visibly unclean, and offered little to no privacy. It left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. Another major concern was that the hotel openly advertises short “day-use” rates at the front (outside of the building), similar to what is typically associated with love hotels (see attached photo). This, combined with the overall setting, reinforced our suspicion about the nature of the property and made us even more uncomfortable. What was particularly frustrating was how the situation was handled. When we decided not to check in and leave, the two male staff members at the front desk appeared completely disinterested. They simply handed back our luggage without asking any questions or attempting to address our concerns. We raised these issues and requested a refund through Booking.com immediately. However, instead of being taken seriously, we were repeatedly passed back and forth between the hotel and Booking.com without any resolution. The situation has been made worse by the hotel now denying that we were even present, despite having checked our passports.

• Carlton (8/5): Great location, skip the breakfast - Great location. Like most hotels in this price class, the rooms are small. Lots of good restaurants in the area for all meals. While the breakfast was adequate, I wouldn't pay extra for it. Go out and find breakfast on your own and experience life in Tokyo. We had a great Japanese take on bagels at Mugi Bagels nearby.

• Jeremie (5/5): Y’a de meilleurs hôtels pour le même prix ailleurs. Avec le réseau de transport en commun, je vous suggère de s’éloigner - Relativement bien situé et près d’une station de métro. Les prix ne sont pas trop élevés. Le buffet n’est pas très bon. L’état des chambres laisse à désiré, particulièrement pour le Japon. Oui le prix n’est pas très élevé, mais j’ai été déçu de voir que la tapisserie de la chambre était décollée à plusieurs endroits, que les rideaux étaient tachés. La douche à un coulis permanent qui rend la pièce pas très jolie . J’ai demandé un changement de chambre mais malheureusement c’était très similaire.

• yasuto (9/5): 出張日程が２転３転し、何度も変更をお願いしましたが、快く対応頂き感謝いたします。隣のビルからの騒音にも部屋を変更いただき、迅速に対応頂きました。ありがとうございました。非常に助かりました。 - 駅近で、周囲に食事ができるところが多い。部屋に不具合あっても、すぐに対応していただき、快適でした。 隣のビル？が、スタジオ？を営んでおり、私が宿泊した時には、結構その音が聞こえた。部屋を変更いただき解消しました。

• Der (8/5): - Excellent location with friendly and professional staff. The mattress is too hard, but otherwise the hotel is clean and nice.

• YUKIMI (10/5): 快適 - アメニティやドリンクが充実していて助かりました。お部屋もキレイですし、バスタブはないですが私はシャワーで充分だしトイレとシャワーが別々なので嬉しいです。チェックアウトも11:00なのでのんびりできてありがたい。 欲を言えば各部屋にドラム式洗濯機（ランドリー）完備だと有難い。以前、そんなホテルに泊まって、とても感動した事があります。
