- Kim (9/5): Opulent and comfortable with friendly, helpful reception staff. - Bed was very comfortable. Room and hotel was beautifully decorated. Had everything we needed. Reception staff were amazing. Dinner meal size at Shingle Inn was very small.
Arrived at breakfast buffet close to closing time, so not much food was available as hadn’t been restocked, but still paid full price. Food that was there though was delicious.

- Sarah (7/5): - Beautiful hotel and the room was divine. Lovely front desk staff. Fire alarm went off at 7am and it was a bit confusing on the peppers floor where to go to evacuate which wasn't fun but that can't be helped by the staff. Very quiet on a Friday night, were going for a vibe to watch the league game but the satellite wasn't working and it was very quiet in the sports club.

- Lesley (8/5): Clean, modern, and very comfortable - New outfit, very comfortable bed, brilliant having a small kitchenette in room, free soft drinks, fast room service, good reception staff Breakfast was okay but some bread, more fruit, drip coffee would have made it better
Location is odd but the hotel is worth it
Wish the use of the pool was for longer hours in the evening, especially after a long road trip

- Rob (9/5): Lovely property and wonderful staff - The staff were fabulous, the room was spacious luxurious and large The bed side lights do not turn off fully
- Paula (10/5): Fabulous apartment, great value for money. - Excellent room / apartment, well equipped, extremely comfortable bed & perfect for a 1 night stay. Overall this was exceptional value for money. Great staff on reception too. The sky bar pool bar was closed when we arrived which was only 4pm on a Saturday. The other main bar is next to a big gambling area with lots of slot machines beeping and lots of other gambling games going on the screens. This didn’t have a nice feel.
- Steve (7/5): - Buffet not up to normal standard.

- stacey (10/5): -
- Micheala (8/5): excellent and I’ll be back for date night - very clean and tidy , excellent Buffet dinner and Breakfast at reasonable prices. it had room service and great food.
- Chanel (9/5): Great night away. - The modern and sophisticated design. That it’s in Barney Point, nothing to open the curtains to.
- Tony Newman (9/5): -
- Kevin (5/5): Thankfully only stayed one night. - Well stocked amenities. Nice room. Location very average.
Pool looked great on website but deceptive as it was a container converted into a pool!
Not worth the money for 5 star property.
- Jason (3/5): Great spot, great beds, great amenities just had a very uncomfortable sweaty night.. - Amazing location staff were great 😊 Air conditioner in room 105 temperature could not be adjusted for cooling temperature down. Spent the night sweating 😥
- Lisa (9/5): -
- kathleen (10/5): -
- MICHAIL (7/5): Nice hotel at the town’s outskirts - Big spacious room with amenities Not a great variety at breakfast buffet
- Nicola (6/5): Hotel room was beautiful but broader hotel facilities were not 5 star worthy. - The room was beautiful and the bed was comfy. The pool was closed for maintenance and the spa was unstaffed. The buffet dinner was over priced and low quality food.
- Eunan (8/5): -
- Alicia (10/5): Great place to stay in Gladstone - All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Our room was clean, comfortable and modern. We loved the restaurant downstairs 😋 We can't fault a single thing... we loved our stay I have nothing i didn't like. I loved everything about Peppers Gladstone
- Slaters (8/5): Lovely Room - The room was a fantastic size and such a beautiful bathroom. The reception staff and welcome on arrival was exceptional. The Encore restaurant food and service was very disappointing. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not impress. It looks like the restaurant is run by a different team, separate to Peppers. At least I hope it is because it was well below average and not to Peppers standards. The team on duty were not very friendly or helpful and were quite rude at times. The food was very basic and very limited. There was no omelette station as advertised and pictured on the sign at entry. It seems lots of food was "unavailable." Half the food vessels were empty. The nicest option was the scrambled eggs, which were not perfect but nice. Bacon was ok. The pastries don't appear to be fresh. They look to be the frozen bake at home ones like you buy at Coles, nothing special. Pancakes on the first day were a bit doughy and not fluffy, ok though. However, the second day, the batter had run out, it wasn't re-filled in the 30 minutes we were there, despite multiple people asking. Coffee was ok first day, second day was undrinkable. Note that if you have dietary requirements, there are limited milk alternative options. Only soy milk. No oat, no coconut, no almond. Unless it was out of stock for the weekend, however, we were told our only options were full cream or soy. Realistically, $27.90 per person is an extreme overcharge for what was available and considering the food quality and taste, and for the service. It is not by any measure the usual standard of a Peppers breakfast buffet. I'd stay again for the room and lovely Pepoers Reception team, not for the food.
- Wendy (8/5): Very good -
- Mewal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cindy (7/5): Gorgeous room with some teething problems in the new place - It’s new and designed beautifully, rooms are dark and serene , no views in some so keep curtains shut. We were told as we booked in that both Pool and pool bar closed for another two weeks due to maintenance , we were very disappointed at this - should have been noted on their website site or when we booked the room.
- Gayleen (9/5): Superb -
- Ashleigh (8/5): Very good -
- Rodney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kym (9/5): Superb -
- Kerry (10/5): Very Enjoyable - Brekky was good, I can't vouch for the restaurant as it was always booked and timings of availablity didn't really suit A stricter dress code for the pokies etc, whilst you have dress regs clearly posted people didn't comply on more than one occasion. My thoughts are that you need a Security Guard or staff member to ensure a standard is met, also one staff member whilst nice was a little bit sloppy with his appearance, other than that all good
- Annie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (8/5): Made our week in Gladstone very comfortable - Only had breakfast once and when did it met expectations no issues
- Blake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geoff (9/5): Superb -
- Angella (10/5): Loved it. - Everything. Big rooms. Perfection. Cant wait to stay again.
- Jenny (10/5): Excellent. - Gorgeous room.Great pool.Warm staff. Nil
- Nigel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynnette (6/5): This in no a 5 star accommodation, restaurant was appalling and wine list was terrible. - Not very central, you really need to rely on their services as the hotel is a fair distance from the centre of the city. Appalling…. Actually non existent wine list. How did this hotel get a 5 star rating. We were offered a welcome drink but couldn’t find a bar open to receive it???
- White (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was explained on check-in, services were amazing, and the room was just perfect. Definitely will be booking another night sooner rather than later.
- Kristy-lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nakiya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerri (9/5): Superb - The rooms are lovely and quiet and the place has a nice cafe and good restaurants and bars
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - Peppers floor is fabulous. Car parking is good benefit. Shingle Inn was great. Buffet could be better
- Renea (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (7/5): Good - Loved the facilities and the quality of the rooms. Stayed in one of the more expensive rooms at the property which was really nice and had ample amenities. View from the window was disappointing as it looked straight onto the roof of the adjacent building where workers were constantly moving back and forth during the day so had no privacy.
I was there to work also and was trying to get some work done from the room but due to extremely poor mobile phone signal in the room and the free wi-fi being extremely slow it was impossible.
Also not a fan of having the pool at the main entrance as lacks privacy.
- Jorja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tyreese (10/5): Exceptional -
- A (10/5): Awap - First of all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room (mind you it was a standard) was gorgeous. Clean, modern, all the kitchen facilities to cook your own meal if you wanted to or to use a microwave. They had a washing machine / dryer combo in the room, making it very helpful to clean your own clothes. Pool, gym, cinema, buffet breakfast and dinner. Fabulous place to stay. I had several usb points in my room to allow charging of all electronics.
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional - Staff were absolutely 💯 perfect in every way .
The only hotel that is truly a 5star Clean room friendly staff
- Silke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Everything you could want for a comfortable stay in Gladstone. - Super modern and clean, staff were lovely! Nothing at all!
- Shai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): Amazing and super comfy - Property was beautiful and beds were amazing and so soft . Staff were great Nothing
- Matthew (5/5): Passable - The breakfast options were very poor Elevator very slow breakfast was horrible staff seemed very untrained
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Stacey (10/5): Can’t wait to come back again - It was so clean, so detailed all the little aspects all the way to the toiletries, and the gold fittings, the ambient lighting and all the finishing touches Only thing I didn’t like is, they said they had soundproof walls, but the knock on our wall of Valentine’s Day would suggest otherwise 😂
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Silke (10/5): Almost perfect - Staff are fantastic! The room was spacious, modern and clean, the telly was sensational, in-room dining delicious and reasonably priced, gym on the same floor was handy. The fact that it was very far away from the marina and there’s no bus service in Gladstone after 5 pm. I didn’t have a car, so had to walk and then take a taxi back. Location is really not ideal.
- Janine (10/5): Perfect stay at Peppers Gladstone - Friendly staff were very welcoming and the room was exceptionally comfortable.
- Damian (9/5): Superb -
- Tyreese (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Value for money, exceptional service - Privacy Loosing money gambling
- Joanna (10/5): Beautiful modern rooms & amazing bed! - Stunning modern design. Clean, luxury apartment. Very impressed. How it’s mixed in with another hotel which is a bit confusing. That hotel is not as nice so the contrast shows in the shared spaces.
- Shane (1/5): I won't be staying there again - Staff were rude and unhelpful Staff were rude and unhelpful
- Rhys (8/5): - Hotel looked brand new! Very comfortable. The sports club downstairs and the location away from town was strange but we quite liked it. Just a few more things would have made it perfect - like a bath, a slightly bigger seating area in the pool bar (and drink selection) - but otherwise great. Room service was great, TV entertainment unit was awesome and the beds were massive and comfy. Will stay again.
- Nicholas (10/5): Brand new peppers building - Awesome place to stay brand new peppers building everything at your front door no need to leave breakfast dinner was great Only staying 1 night was my downfall should have stayed longer
