• Mira (10/5): Beautiful apartment with very comfy beds - Everything we could have wanted and more! The apartment is close to a metro station and it was really easy to get to the central station, the duomo etc. The apartment itself is lovely and has everything you need, from a coffee maker to a kettle, biscuits & shower products. The beds were incredibly comfy as well. The host was lovely and approachable. All in, we would happily stay here again. Nothing!
• Yoshikoy (8/5): Nicely renovated quiet place in commercial neighborhood of Milan - The location is close to Milan Centrale Station. Just a caution, to get to green line metro, some walking is required. There were many Chinese and other ethnic restaurants in the neighborhood. Even though neighborhood is busy, the apartment is facing the courtyard and pretty quiet at night. The place has large rooms with high ceilings and has been nicely renovated. Kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed for one night's stay. Appreciative of the water bottle in the fridge as I was not going out to find a store to shop water at night. Rooms were quite large but the bathroom was oddly arranged and little narrow to move around with no place to put things down. Strangely, some of the light switches were not in the room or convenient location and I had to search for them. One of the bedside lights was missing power outlet and could not be used. It could have been easily remedied with long power cord from the other side of the bed. House key was an old style bolts and difficult to lock. It gave me some problems while trying to lock it from outside. When I sent a message to the agent, he responded promptly and said to pull the door hard to lock. However I had to try several times in different ways to get the key out. The agent had met me at the door with keys when I had arrived earlier. He could have shown me how to lock and get the key out but he was in a hurry to get going. I had to ask him where wifi password, AC control, or other things were kept before he disappeared. When I asked him if the tap water was portable, he remembered that there were water and wine bottle for the guest in the fridge, and then also showed me how to use the coffee machine. In other lodges, I have seen instruction booklets for guests. Maybe a simple instruction sheet could be written and left on kitchen table so that agent could simply show it to future guests (if agent is in a hurry).
