Jane (10/5): Peaceful homey oasis - I spent about six weeks in this apartment and it quickly came to feel like home. A really big thing for me was that the apartment looks out onto a corn field bordered at the far side by a small copse of conifers and other trees -- a peaceful, harmonious view rather than looking at the lights and buiildings of Zlatibor and the main road, and it ensures complete privacy. In the evenings, the whirring and chirping of the night insects underscore the peacefulness. The apartment was equipped with everything necessary, including plenty of bedding and kitchen supplies as well as basic bathrooom supplies. The bed is really comfy -- firm and cushioned. The view towards the south and SW is expansive, all the way to the peak of Tornik. A couple of km to the east beyond this street are short hiking/running trails over the hills. It's about a 20 min walk or 5 min drive into central Zlatibor. The evening concerts that are held by the lake (jezero) in town at the height of the summer tourist season are so loud that they're clearly audible even here, but they seemed to always finish by 22:30-23h or thereabouts. Communication was good. There was some confusion about the location because the street name has been changed, but Pedrag sent me a map link and that fixed the problem.
