• Heather (10/5): It was a great place to stay, great location and the facilities were excellent - The location was excellent , it was easy to use the door scanner and it was well lit at night The only thing that we didnt like was the coffee maker, but that is just us being fussy.

• Grace (10/5): - The hosts, Derek and Ange, are warm and welcoming. The apartment was clean, well kitted out and is in a very convenient location. Eateries and shops are a short walk away, and the beach is also within walking distance. The ocean can be seen from the deck. Little touches elevated the stay with complementary chocolate, bath bombs and a night light. The bed was very comfortable. Two sinks were handy with getting ready. Parking is available on the driveway. Highly recommend.

Safety covered, emergency process and first aid provided which seemed different for accommodation like this. Relatively private, on the doorstep to the beach. Very reasonably priced given the location and convenience. Really exceeded my expectations. All good as advertised.
• Iandra (10/5): Great find. - The location was in a quiet Cul de Sac, in the heart of Shellharbour village being walking distance local shops, cafes, pool and beach. The Shellcove Marina was reasonably close too. We had our bikes with us so found it very convenient to the many bike paths that we enjoyed cycling around. The accommodation was competively priced, private, spacious, spotless, well equipped and there were even some water views from side deck. Everything about it looked new and fresh. Parking was off street which was another bonus and the room was easy to access for unloading our luggage. And finally the hosts, Ange and Derek, a sociable couple and a pleasure to deal with. If we're back this way, we'll ll definitely stay again. Nothing to fault.
• Mary (9/5): - Lovely and helpful hosts, beautiful bathroom, walking distance to the main street, comfy bed, and one of the cleanest accommodations I've stayed in. Was also great being able to park in the driveway. Strong fragrance smell in the room and it took awhile to air out after removing them. If you don't like fragrance I suggest asking the hosts to remove them before you arrive. Derek and Ange are very accommodating.

All tips about the locality was a great help The place was clean, properly equipped. A big thank to the owners for complementary chocolates and Easter eggs. The view of ocean is through the backyard of the previous property, hence a little compromised with privacy. Also may consider putting a barrier in the shower unit to stop water flowing out of the glass cubicle

• jamie (9/5): clever and thoughtful space for a cosy weekend getaway - Shellharbour Haven was the perfect weekend getaway. Located 2 minutes from a cafe, across the street from the water and 4 minutes from the main street, the property was perfectly situated. Derek and Ange are simply lovely people, hospitable and helpful. They very cleverly incorporated 2 studios into their exiting dwelling which was really cosy and boasted all the mod cons of an apartment. The kitchen was more than just a kitchenette with a full sized fridge. The bathroom offered all new and modern fittings from the bathtub to the toilet. An outdoor "terrace" with a built in counter top and bar stools was an ingenious use of a rather slim space. It had views across to the water even though it is through the neighbouring property which wasn't a real issue. The smart tv was excellent as we could watch Netflix from bed and the aircon which was set to the side of the room meant that we could keep the space cool without having the blower on us when we slept. well i just cant think of anything

The apartment has a great layout and every little touch felt carefully picked, which made our stay feel really special. Shellharbour Haven was peaceful and beautiful and it provided us with one of the most relaxing beach stays we’ve ever had. Derek and Ange genuinely care about making guests feel at home.

A 5 minute drive and we were at The Marina where there are cafes , beautiful restaurant and boats on the Water , it was a perfect place to stay being so close to everything, A 15 drive to Kiama with all the beaches and shops … The accommodation was just perfect for us … everything we needed and more .. The hosts met us and gave us the rundown of the apartment.All cooking facilities, comfortable bed and spacious. We will definitely be going back … Thank you for making our little getaway just right 😊 Nothing… we couldn’t fault anything

The location was perfect—close to pool, beach, local village and a short walk to the waterfront at Shell Cove. Our host Ange was welcoming and helpful. Plenty of thought put in so that guests would have an enjoyable stay like a coffee machine, chocolates, milk, lovely fragrance that fills the air when you walk in. Couldn’t fault a thing. 10/10!

Comfortable bed and good shower, we didn't need the WiFi so can't comment on that. Proximity to Shellharbour and Shell Cove was good so lots of shops, cafes and bars. Booking.Com didn't send through the entry instructions so we were lucky Ange was home to greet us. She showed us the message / instructions she sent via Booking.Com that didn't arrive by our check-in time. All eneded well.

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, the place was impeccably clean and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were full of every appliance and amenities one could ask for, and the location was great, easy to access and with the swimming pool just down the road. I could not recommend this place highly enough, and will be sure to visit again if and when I find myself in the area again.
