The kitchen was useful for preparing meals, breakfasts etc and saved a lot of money on eating out, also having a washing machine came in handy. As we were staying for 8 nights it would have been nice to have had some more supplies ie shower gels and washing powder.

• Nikita (8/5): Nice and memorable stay. The hosts picked us up from the station on the first day which was helpful. I would recommend t - Well kept and cute decor and design. Cosy overall, with a great location. We booked the property for 4 nights looking at facilities and services listed on booking.com. Despite daily housekeeping being one of the services mentioned and the primary reason we booked it for two of us, we were told that housekeeping is chargeable if we would like to have it, and it’s done only once by them every 11 days. When we are on a vacation, we would like some things to be taken care of, like housekeeping. We ran out of shower gel on day 2 :(

• Roy (7/5): Good - Very authentic, nice and cool. Great Location. Only 2 large towels and 2 toilet rolls for a 3 night stay (of 2 people), towel replacement is $16 per day. Lots of (unharmful) little flies, mainly around the bathroom. Little sound insulation, but not in a very busy street. Was not expecting to have to wait for someone to come bring the keys, so it took a bit for them to come as we did not text them beforehand (although we were exactly on the time as said while booking).

• Daniela (8/5): Beautiful historic home on a quiet street close to everything Monopoli has to offer - La casetta is found down a picturesque street off the main square in a local part of town. Restaurants and attractions were within very short and easy strolling distance. The beautiful jasmine vine by the front door filled the air with a sweet smell every evening. The home was clean, spacious and well appointed. It was pleasantly cool inside without air con. We loved the vaulted stone ceilings throughout. The bed was super comfortable and the washing machine was a real plus. We thank Riccardo for his hospitality and good communication. We found mobile phone reception to be poor inside la casetta. A small outdoor dining setting would be a great addition so guest can enjoy meals in the fresh air.

• Monika (9/5): Comfortable apartment in the historic center - Big, clean apartment in the historic center of Monopoli. You have to inculde additional cost for parking (25 Euro per day).
• Marie (10/5): Ideal spot for a few days in Monopoli. - Excellent location in a quiet street, yet so close to the centre of Monopoli. The style of the property is wonderful and it is well laid out. We had been travelling in Italy for 12 days, so the washing machine was a bonus.
