It is in a residential area and not near a busy market so it's not a usual tourist spot but if you have longer stay and want a peaceful stay definitely go for this.

• M (10/5): Best Homestay in Kashmir - I had such a lovely stay here, even though it was just for one night. The owners made me feel right at home from the start. They’re super kind, down-to-earth, and really make sure their guests are well taken care of. The homestay is in a peaceful, quiet area away from the city noise, which was perfect for me to unwind after a long journey. The room was cozy and clean, and the kitchen had everything I needed, which was a big plus. The owners were always quick to reply to my messages on WhatsApp, even when they were busy with other guests. They really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and that made my short stay so much easier. They also offer airport pickup and drop-off and they also arrange local sightseeing tours, so you can explore the area with ease. It’s a homestay, and it really feels like staying with family. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a comfortable, peaceful place with amazing hosts. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

We had a good discussion before reaching Srinagar itself, and all my questions and doubts were clearly answered by them. The owner himself came to pick us up at the airport. If for some reason he is unable to come, he can arrange an alternate pick up. The same goes with sightseeing. You name it, and they will take care of the logistics if you wish. They also have a very well equipped kitchen with all utensils. They also offer help to get groceries if you need them. Their hospitality is very warm and welcoming. We surely will consider the same place for any future Kashmir trip. In short, they have all the things tangible and intangible that one would expect from a homestay. Liked everything

This home stay is available in a peaceful area which is very good as well as little bit far from srinagar main city. Hence people need to hire cab or bike to reach main city which is around 7-8 kms.

All the basic amenities were present including hot water and extra bedding ! It was nice and very pleasant ! The awesome couple, Mustafa and Yasmeen, ensured that our stay & travel in Kashmir was an exhilarating experience. The homestay was literally a home away from home. The couple has gone to great lengths to ensure that the accomodation is spacious, well-appointed and clean. Its located just 15mins from the airport. Our living space comprised of a large bedroom with a big bed which could easly accomodate 3 adults; a sparkling clean bathroom and a spacious living room with sofa set and a smaller bed which sleeps 2 adults. In addition, there is a common kitchen, washing machine, refridgerator and RO water facilitiy. The entire space was carpeted and tastefuly wall-papered. There was also a beautiful, green, well kept lawn with table & chairs to have a peaceful meal in cool breeze. Yasmeen also provided scrumptuous home-made breakfast and dinner which added to our splendid experience. The food was personally prepared by her who went to great lengths to ensure that it was upto our tastes. It also provided a great opportunity to taste the local cuisine. Mustafa provided his services to chaffuer us to the various destinations that we wanted to go in his Duster. He is an expert driver very familiar with the local places and roads. He provided the necessary inputs to make our sightseeing an enjoyable experience. An extremely affable person and was a great company for our trip. Overall, it was an delightful experience to stay and travel with Mustafa & Yasmeen which ensured that our Kashmir holiday was a thoroughly enjoyable. Definitely recommended for a family looking for a wholesome stay and travel experience at very economical prices. Nothing in particular.

The location is far from the city center and it may not be very convenient for sightseeing, but the time you spend with the owner family will surely be a heartwarming experience. They also offer meals at reasonable prices. If you want to relax and have a good relationship with people, you should visit even if the location is a little inconvenient.

• Jacqui (10/5): A good value, peacefully located, comfortable homestay run by a charming couple - This is a very comfortable homestay run by a wonderful couple who looked after us exceptionally well. We had delicious freshly cooked food in the garden in the evenings - enjoying the flowers and the quiet space. It is a little out of town but that means it is peaceful! A lift is available from the host though we navigated the buses successfully. We will definitely go back to visit this homestay and family!

• Anjum (4/5): Someone visiting Srinagar first time try to find hotels or stay near Dal Lake or Lal Cowkh - Property was super clean, food was okay and the owner(lady)wasn’t rude neither sweet. Fans in rooms were fixed far away from beds which made overall stay uncomfortable. Location - it’s waste of money as there’s nothing near the property. No grocery store, no restaurants, nothing to explore
• Rashi (1/5): Bad - Host was good behaviourwise, but As solo traveller I found it hard because homestay is in very interior with no means of transport for locals as all people there own personal vehicles, also every time if we do taxi it will cost us a lot its unreasonable price. Wont suggest solo traveller to stay better to stay in dal lake bcoz no food stall, no options for vegeterian food. Homestay is very far from main area that is Dal lake and lal chowk everytime one way its 300 so everyday if we commute its 600 not possible for solo traveller.
