Guest Reviews
- margaret joan (10/5): - Very close to the airport
- Sue (7/5): Very quiet cottage, near the airport. - Quite cottage. Near the airport but you couldn't hear the planes at all. Busy road, cottage right near the junction, so it was a bit difficult reversing into the property before a car / lorry came but they all stopped for us & were patient too. Would have been super difficult if you were there on your own. Mohammed was super quick to reply to any issues we had & it was all sorted out quickly. Bath was very slippery, could do with a rubber bath mat inside it. Shower was good but if you used the hand one attached to the bath taps, the water spurted up the shower screen ! was messy but it worked okay. We found the living room a bit cold, bedrooms were warm though. Edinburgh city roads were full of large pot holes.
- Kevin (10/5): - Loved this little cottage. Warm and clean and despite being near main road was quiet.
- Ian (7/5): Ideal location fantastic bed warm bad shower electric tripped out a couple of times - Very comfortable bed Shower was very poor
- Jay (10/5): It was lovely. - It is clean, complete with stuff we need, appliances, cozy, homey and it is a lovely cottage. A bit far from the shops, internet signal didn’t reach the rooms.
- Hilmi (8/5): -
- melissa (9/5): Lovely spacious cottage and also very clean and tidy. - Very clean and tidy. Very convenient for the airport. Nice thoughtful extras were provided.
- Suzanne (4/5): Clean and close to airport, but reliable heat and wifi were an issue. - I appreciated how close this property was to the airport. We had two major issues. The heat was not left on, so we had to have the owner come and turn it on. Although it appeared to be working, the rooms did not stay very warm. Additionally, the Wifi, kept going out. Although we thought we were connected to the wifi, we ended up using up a big portion of our international data plan because the property Wifi kept turning off.
- Robert (8/5): - Perfect location for flight the next day Heat was off at night and we didn’t figure out how to re start it
- Robert (6/5): great - Location was great. It was what we needed the racks for the stove could not be found.
- Hoey (7/5): -
- marielle (7/5): - Le lieu situé à 10 mn de l'aéroport Équipements succinct. Cuisine dans son jus.
Ça passe pour une nuit.
- Sofia (7/5): For us, who needed to stay close to the airport, it was very good. - Very close to the airport, clean, with plenty of space. The check-in and check-out were very easy. Nothing to point out as a problem.
- Marie-Renee (9/5): Ok pour une nuit avant l’avion. - Bien situé pour prendre l’avion tôt le lendemain.
- Steve (7/5): Did the trick - Closeness to airport
Bed comfort Height of doorway into bedroom my son hit his head
- Gretchen (8/5): Is good if you are trying to be close to the airport. - Close to airport Isolated, stinging nettles in back yard
- Bianca (5/5): Passable - The garden was nice but needs trimming It states that it was a 6 bed property but there are only 4 beds.
- Gammack (8/5): Very good -
- Nick (5/5): Cheap, handy for airport, but not great. - Relatively cheap. Convenient location for the airport. Internet connection was decent. Slightly weird accommodation. Doorways were all very low. Beds were crammed into rooms. Kitchen was poorly stocked (no wire racks in the oven, what’s that about?) Sofa was a short hike away from the tv. The measure of a property is probably whether you would stay there again, and I wouldn’t!
- Beevers (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Cottage was clean comfy. Nice garden to enjoy the sunshine close to airport would highly recommend Nothing
- Jane (5/5): Passable - reasonable price grounds poorly maintained
- Dylan (3/5): Poor - The place was clean and as described. We booked this place for a night as we were going to an event Saturday & Sunday. The guy texted me saying he requires an £150 cash deposit which wasnt stated when booking (which we refused to pay). We asked about leaving our car at the property for the Sunday, and he suggested leaving the car key on the wheel whilst we were out?😯 overall the cleanliness of the place was fine, but the management let it down
- Katherine (7/5): Fun place to stay near the airport - We chose Gogarstone Cottage to be near the airport for our departure. It is an old cottage that has been renovated. The house is quite quirky but fun. It is not at all fancy but it was clean and sufficiently appointed. The beds are small but very comfortable. It was chilly but space heaters were provided and they easily did the trick.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Liv (9/5): Superb -
