Guest Reviews
- Cathe (10/5): A hidden gem. - The guesthouse was cosy and very well equipped. The decor was fresh and inviting. The owner was easy to contact and friendly. We would stay longer next time. Close to shops and beaches. No complaints but the rain stopped our beach walks.
- Gina (10/5): We appreciated the nice touches for our travel companion dog and the small yard and local area were particularly pet fri - We enjoyed the location and the thought that had done into what requirements travellers might need. Laundry necessities were particularly well catered for. It was surprisingly spacious and tastefully decorated. Provision of a light breakfast was a welcome touch. It was very close to supermarkets and cafes and also the beach, although we didn’t have much time to enjoy those. The driveway was initially difficult to recognise and manoeuvre but once we had the hang of it, it wasn’t that hard.
- Kate (5/5): - Well equipped and good location Cheaply converted garage to short term rental with cheap utensils and fittings
- Tomac (9/5): This was a great place to stay. - The location was great, clean and comfortable with everything that I needed . The packets of small chips were great appreciated
- Rebekah (9/5): - We had a lovely time!! So comfortable ♥️
- Gerard (9/5): - Perfect location for kayaking and fishing. 50m from the waters edge. Short walk to beach.
- louise (10/5): Very comfortable, absolutely everything you need in kitchen, bathroom. Lovely bed and soft sheets. - Every thing you need. Very clean. Really comfortable. Close to Caves beach, a great spot. The gate closed and locked me out, had to get help to get in. No key fitted.
- Muller (10/5): - The guesthouse had everything you could possibly need. And it is beautifully decorated and put together.
- Nhi (10/5): Nice little guesthouse for 2 - We love everything The driveway.
- Paul (10/5): Highly recommend this lovely studio - Spacious studio with everything we needed for a lovely stay. Beautifully clean and tidy and some thoughtful essentials for tea, coffee & snacks. Thank you
- Tania (9/5): - Good location, clean and tidy. Tricky to get in/out driveway with traffic.
- Angela (10/5): A comfortable, quiet, clean little guesthouse, close to Swansea town Centre - Keys were easily accessible in a lockbox
- Geof (5/5): The airbnb was OK but needs more attention to cleaning - OK - small, being built in a 'double garage'. Newish. comfortable bed. plenty of hot water. When we couldn't work the stove the manager/owner came promptly to show us how - happy with the service gate to unit didn't fit (dropped) so was very difficult to shut. Oven was dirty as were a couple of plates. vacuum cleaner supplied wasn't very effective and it was easy to walk in the sand from the gate to the unit (no Path). The cleaner needs to improve
- Tatyana (10/5): - Super clean and cosy space Overall happy. Got some really nice neighbours staying also
- Ashiyana (10/5): -
- Janet (9/5): Exceeded expectations - Instructions were easy to follow.
- Lisa (10/5): Every thing was perfect highly reccomend - Everything Nothing

- Brandon (10/5): Very clean, comfortable bed and value for money. Has everything! Will stay here again for sure. -
- Harvey (8/5): - Great fit out, good quality towels and toilet paper. Great location, easy walk to shops and beach Driveway was hard to find at first and a little difficult to navigate
- john (8/5): -
- Richard (7/5): - Well equipped kitchen and ensuite. Entry gate very difficult and jammed at one point forcing us to climb into the compound to release the lock. Kitchen tap needed fixing, not enough bench space.
- Pettett (9/5): We enjoyed our experience and would definitely consider coming back for another visit - It was quite clean and in a good location Nothing really not too like
- Sean (10/5): -
- Nolan (10/5): - I thoroughly enjoyed Swansea Guest House. Lovely modern design 50 metres to the water.pet friendly with private courtyard.
Loads of little extra you dont get at most places perfect for single or couple
- Tahlia (10/5): Our stay was so relaxing felt like we were just at home so close to the shops the water to cafes. It was very nice. - The house was immaculate so clean and tidy very well taken care of you can tell the owners really put in a lot of effort when people are staying there There was nothing to fault about the property
- Glen (10/5): -
- Brendan (9/5): - Great location, clean and comfortable. Owner was available for any queries.
- Oscar (10/5): -
- Stephen (6/5): Quite good but room for improvement. - Some breakfast supplies (but they ran out quickly) were there. Two seater sofa was good. Shower water pressure was good. Mould kept returning (bathroom), so it must be under the paint. Tried 3 times ourselves to get rid of it. Bathroom door poorly fitted so didn't close properly. Storage inadequate. Bed did not collapse but double bed was effectively 2 camp beds put together. In bad weather (we had some) the way in becomes flooded.
- Colin (10/5): Just there for 2 nights it was convenient and comfortable thank you! - The property was clean comfortable and well equipped I could not stay longer. It was lovely
- Anne (10/5): My hosts were very responsive and supportive at a difficult time. They were flexible and assisted with additional bookin - My host added lovely extras such as cereal and coffee pods, a selection of pillows and a well equipped kitchenette. They even had a fire pit available, perfect for cosy nights. The location is lovely, sunset views at the water were gorgeous.
- Meng (10/5): Love it - It's such a great place to unwind. The place was so tidy and clean. Thank you for the coffee and so many snacks! The bedding is so comfy. We loved the firepit as well. I would totally love to come back someday.
- Lucy (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, well equipped and host provided nice little touches like snacks.
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maurice (7/5): Good - Location That animals are allowed in the house, and suspect that the pet sleeps on the bed or couch due to my wife getting a bad case of bed bug’s
- Cathy (10/5): Great location, great little unit enjoyed everything about it we will definitely return , our little puppy enjoyed it a - Neat and tidy and just what we needed all the little extras on table and in fridge was very thoughtful and made a difference Nothing everything was good just took us abit to find driveway as it was in dark when arrived
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (9/5): The vendors were very approachable and always responded almost immediately - Location wasn't too far from various sight seeing places l8ke Caves Beach.
The place was also very closeby to a few fishing spots, and the fishing was great there. The driveway into the property was quite tricky when entering in .....as its a narrow driveway and a very acute sharp turn from the main road....but I guess there isnt much the landlord could do.
- Cathy (9/5): Great location , cute cottage and communication with owner was excellent. - Great communication and great location for caves beach There was heavy showers when we went to leave and water had pooled from back door to car port making it hard to get to car with dry feet. However we dont hold you responsible for the weather just thought we would make you aware of this incase you didnt know.
- Vicki (10/5): very nice 3 night stay - very private & had lots of extra treats carport private parking very tight driveway & turning area
- Maurice (8/5): Very good -
- Lee (9/5): Superb -
- Wise (8/5): Very good - Quiet ,clean with plenty of space for two.
Thankyou we enjoyed our stay. The space was clean ,private and quiet. We would have liked more than two towells for our four night stay. The weather was very wet so hard to get the only two towells dry. We did bring our own beach towels which came in very handy. We had a lovely time and are sure we'll return.
- Peter (7/5): Very comfortable and private accommodation and reasonably priced. - Compact, clean and nicely styled accommodation within walking distance to town. Good cycleways to tour around. Pet friendly. Busy road and little difficult to access driveway.
The courtyard could use some love. More greenery would be a good addition.
- Xinn (7/5): Good -
- Abdullah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cody (8/5): Very good -
- Monique (8/5): Very good -

- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monique (10/5): Amazing will be back again - Was the perfect size accommodation for my mother and myself,
The extra amenities were a lovely touch really making it feel like a home away from home. Personal preference I found the mattress to hard - my mum did not.
- David (10/5): Best airbnb style accommodation we have stayed in. The little touches made it feel like home. -
- Genevieve (8/5): Great accommodation, very comfortable, fresh and clean. Highly recommend. - Spacious, clean, comfortable, well equiped accommodation in quiet and central location. Really nice place. Carport would be tight for 2 vehicles.
- Jocelyn (8/5): Very good -
- Yvonne (9/5): Superb - The location was great. Easy access.
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Jacquline (8/5): charming little space for a quick weekend. Walking distance to Swansea shops - Neat and tidy There were no USB ports for phone charging plus the finish to the walls near the front door was a hot and miss
- Donna (10/5): Happy Days - I loved the cleanliness. The little touches the owners have added...snacks, nice toiletries, home grown eggs. Drinks. Just everything was perfect for my stay. I parked in the street for easier access as I was coming and going frequently and the supplied parking was just a bit tight. But, they still have the secure parking if you prefer.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Karl-hermann (10/5): Surprise - An uncomplicated arrival. It's the small gestures that delight the guest. A small welcome message with my name on a notice board is one such gesture. I was also lucky enough not to be there in high season. No annoying noises from the surrounding houses and gardens. A perfekt stay.
- Wendy (8/5): We had a lovely weekend, the place catered really well for all our needs. - The property was a great space and catered really well for our small dog. Loved the fire pit area, relaxing and enjoying a wine, the extra touches including snacks and grocery items.
- Rhys (9/5): Good spot to stay while exploring the area. Neighbours were a bit loud in the afternoon but didn’t bother us too much as -
- Maurice (7/5): Good -
- Cedric (8/5): Very good - The hosts obviously want to create a good impression with the guests and little things like the food / snacks left there go a long way to show they care. The side gates to the property needed re-aligning. I advised the host and was assured the matter would be rectified.
- Karen (3/5): Poor - Nice & close to Swansea
Clean & tidy room Pillows were too hard.
Traffic noise at night
Not a good location to drive into or leave.
- Oscar (10/5): Short and sweet - I like the facilities that were provided as well as the cookware that we were given. The welcome message on the whiteboard was also a nice touch for us. N/A
- Ashley (10/5): Perfect little guesthouse with everything you need - • The design of the studio guesthouse' interior and even exterior was modern, fresh and lovely. The smell walking in was so nice!
• Daniels communication was super quick and helpful
• The pillows and bedding were very comfortable (we brought our own but ended up using the properties as it was so warm and comfortable).
• Place was clean and private with the little backyard colourbond fence.
• Right near the lake (no lake access but gorgeous to walk down to about 3 doors down on Nash st)
• Hot water system was very good.
• Lounge very comfy
• Aircon worked very well
• The small touches absolutely made this place:
- Clean dog bed and pet bowls on arrival for our dog was so thoughtful
- The bowl of snacks including cereal and chips were very handy and a nice little touch
- The fridge had milk, some juice poppers and fresh farm eggs which if we had more time we would of used!
- Coffee machine (again didn't use but would have loved to) and the selection of pods and teas were great
- The booklet of the local area, fav local eats and checking out info etc was perfect.
- Make up wipes in the bathroom
- The hairdryer and big shampoo, conditioner and body wash was appreciated. Others would appreciate the basics in kitchen like oil, sugar, salt, pepper etc.
Highly recommend. We will definitely return. We liked everything! Just one note for pet owners:
• There's a very very small gap down one side of the guesthouse and there is a unit of some sort blocking most of the path, but a small dog can get past and possibly get out (our pug tried until we recalled him back haha). We brought a pet fence with us in case, so it wasn't an issue at all blocking it. Very easy to block off as it is just a small gap. Just wanted to let other visitors with pets be mindful of it.
- Natalie (8/5): Was great value for money, lovely little place, will definitely come and stay again. - Clean, light, lots of kitchen facilities and tea and coffee and milk. Beautiful bathroom and the best fluffy towels, felt lovely and luxurious! Lovely welcoming message, felt friendly and warm The pillows were too high for me! Would be lovely if there were a few different options for people.
- Scooterviv (9/5): Superb - The unit was spacious and quiet, felt safe there and host was very efficient in regards to any queries we had. Hairdryer was a bonus as well as the coffee machine. Lovely towels and bedding. TV bugged me as not used to a Toshiba and not being able to use free to air channels.
- Jo (9/5): Superb - Amazing location, loved being able to bring my dog with me.
- Seung (9/5): Satisfied and willing to revisit - Quiet, cosy and value Narrow driveway and parking space
- Vanessa (10/5): Repeat stay and still great! -
- Cavanagh (9/5): Superb - Location was good. Very clean and comfortable ... warm and cosy ... firepit was a nice touch (we took our own wood) ...lovely bathroom ... well stocked kitchen ... snacks a bonus ... quite perfect for our 2 night stay. Nothing
- Vanessa (9/5): Lovely accommodation in good spot - Well appointed with lovely modern decor. New, spacious, clean and light accommodation in a good spot close to the water. Breakfast items and snacks were a bonus! Would definitely stay again!. Tight driveway entrance from busy road but manageable. Lock on door was a bit tricky to unlock but got it to work eventually.
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Location, amenity, Comfort, privacy Poor tv/WiFi connectivity. However, a WiFi booster should sort that problem out
- Cathy (9/5): Comfortable enjoyable for a couples stay. - Location was good, nicely set up, everything you need, nicely decorated. Cosy but spacious. A few little issues, but the owner Daniel was very responsive and dealt with it immediately, he is very friendly.
Sharing the driveway with the main house, those guests took over my parking but I was happy to park out the back away from them.
