Guest Reviews
- Detek (2/5): Never again. - The price. Anything you touched in the apartment was slightly sticky. Although it looked clean, it really wasn’t. Carpet, sofa, everything … dirty. There was a neighbour who was having a very loud discussion with his wife until 3am. Banged on the floor which would temporarily stop the noise until they didn’t remember. Not the host’s fault but extremely annoying.
- Darwent (10/5): Great place - Comfortable, well maintained, clean, homely apartment, great location for local shops/fast food/takeaways and supermarkets. On the main tram route and on the 51 bus circular loop for frequent buses and trams to get throughout the city.
- Ashton (6/5): It was okay for one night but I wouldn’t come back - It was very nicely decorated inside and seemed clean enough Shower didn’t work at all so we had to have a bath instead, the area isn’t shown in the photos but it’s in quite a rough run down area in an apartment which we weren’t aware of when booking as there is no information about the area online and bad smell in the house almost like bleach and cigarettes combined
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Nathan (10/5): -
- Boyd (2/5): Awful, didn’t end up staying in the end. Just drove home. The apartment was extremely run down. The area was really roug - Nothing The location and the apartment
- kyap (4/5): -
- Ioan (10/5): Amazing ingredient hospitality all around in the house like home - It was very neat and very quiet There’s nothing I did not like about this apartment

- Tabeth (10/5): - I will always rate this place 10 out of 10 ,

Easy checkin

- Tom (9/5): Great value for the price - Lots of space for the price. It was clean, comfortable and the host was prompt with his replies when questions arose; like parking and what to do with recycling etc. When I had done my initial search, I had asked for off road parking and this flagged up with that specification. This was not the case but luckily I was able to park near enough to the property. The area itself is a bit grim but the people seemed nice enough.
- Tabeth (10/5): Very clean - Private entrance ,you don’t see anyone
- Laura (3/5): -
- Tabeth (10/5): - Very clean
Private entrance The camera on the door

- Mick (1/5): We didn’t stay too dirty. - We had a look at the apartment and it was horrendous.
Terrible are dirty inside,
There was no way we were going to stay there.
How you can have this apartment on your books is beyond me.
We took one look and had to pay for somewhere else.
So we were out of pocket £175
Of which I want to claim back. Everything

- Dorothy (9/5): Comfortable gem off the beaten track - This apartment was an unexpected gem in what looked like a 'rough' area! The neighbours were friendly and chatty and the apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped. This was the third place we stayed on our holiday and the bed was the most comfortable!
My other surprise was the shower! I looked at it and expected a dribble - whereas we had a lovely hot shower with a very adequate flow.
The apartment has a freezer and a fridge, both of which we used.
From the living room we could hear the music from the club on the main road - but the bedroom was quiet. You couldn't hear the music at all. So, although we were near the main road and the trams we slept really well.
I recommend this little haven to anyone Nothing of any significance. The place is comfortable and convenient.
- Grace (1/5): Bad - Nothing The area is not good. The bedroom smelt badly of cigarette, just sprayed with febreeze type freshener to hide the smell. The whole place needs updating/renovating. Not worth the money. The bath is full of moulds and disgusting. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
- Dan (1/5): Didn't stay. Wouldn't stay. - Absolutely nothing. Couldn't say what the inside was like, as we couldn't access the property, but the outside was grim. Certainly not blissfull. Think trainspotting. Wouldn't have left such an honest review, if the owner had bothered to respond to my email. Realise these can make or break people, but you broke our weekend, and couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge the fact. Access to the property. Either given wrong code, or key safe was faulty. Either way, couldn't get in. Had to go home. Owner rang me back nearly an hour after my first call, implying I had put the code in wrong. Avoid. Avoid. Aoid.
- Varadi (10/5): Exceptional - Calm environment. friendly apartment. I can only recommend it
- Sandile (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominic (7/5): Cheap option - Dedicated parking (for the block) very close. Plenty of fridge space, useful if staying longer.
Close to friendly shops, takeaways and a petrol station. Short drive into city centre or the tram goes with a few metres of the flat.
Main bedroom was quiet and comfortable.
Four sets of crockery, cutlery.
Decent shower, bathroom had plenty of space. No sheet for sofa bed, just outer covers. We had rented for three people so this was below par.
Only two chairs for dining table so we couldn't all sit to eat at the table.
TV wasn't working, no live channels, only streaming e.g. Amazon.
- Shephard (8/5): Very good -
- Diver (8/5): Very good - The apartment is great for staying for a couple of nights, it’s a tad run down but for the price it’s perfectly fine. The owner is lovely and communicates really well answering any questions you have 👍 Only that it was a bit run down and has strong smells (clean smells) however I was allergic to the spray in the living room which we had to move, other than that everything was great, thanks!
- Festus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (2/5): Not Fit For Purpose. Overpriced. - Nothing. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy. The sofa bed was not fit to sleep on and the guests had to sit up and try to sleep. The place was not clean, there was dust and hair on the skirting boards and in the bath. The internet did not work so we could not watch TV. The kitchen tap dripped all night. Outside looked derelict and the bins were overflowing onto the ground. We did not stay another night and I had to book two hotel rooms for myself and my guests at The Premier Inn St Mary Gates for the second night which cost me an extra £216. I was not happy.
- Kelly (6/5): Basic which reflects in the price - The property was a good size with everything we needed The bed base had a big stain on it and although it appeared to be clean if was a little off putting
- Stephen (9/5): Good - Free parking and cleanliness No extractor fan in the bathroom and kitchen
- Adebayo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Idris (10/5): Awesome - Easy access and a serene and calm environment. Property is clean and spacious
- Ahmed (8/5): Very good - Clean flat , loved it . I felt like I was in my own flat . Loved the living room and the bed was clean.
- Sivakumar (8/5): Well maintained property provides good value for money - Clean and independent Nothing
- Erica (9/5): very lovely stay - it was very good space for the price it was clean and very nicely decorated and layout
- Linda (3/5): Sorry but I will not be returning - self catering. Crockery provided. Tea and coffee available I didn't like the area the apartment was in.
It was rundown area and I didn't feel safe being a lone woman. I didn't think my car was safe overnight - although nothing happened to it
The bedding although clean was a mismatch - very strange.
- Kail (9/5): Superb -
- Liam (10/5): It was great and I enjoyed it - The property was great nice and spacious and everything was as described Only the area it is in is the downside however this isn’t a problem as you’re not too far away from anything.
- Joan (7/5): Good -
- Namatayi (10/5): Thank you hosts your place is beautiful. Will be booking again - Located is not bad. It is quiet. Close to shops and takeaway restaurants. Very clean and paid attention to detail
- Man (3/5): Poor - The location is easy to access, parking space is good. The key is easy to access, it's good. The security box is a good idea. The location is easy to access, but the environment is not ideal, it is not suitable for holiday or leisure stay. The location make me felt insecure. The key is easy to access, it's good. The security box is good idea. The internal cleanliness and decoration should be improve a bit. it's not like a holiday or leisure place to stay. We cannot feel relax during these 3 days. We've 3 people to stay, one of them should sleep on sofa bed, but the sofa bed is uncomfortable, and it has a hard thing in the middle and the length is not long enough too. Overall, it's not a idea and relax place for holiday.
