• Wendy (9/5): - Fantastic reception and contact with Niko at this family run complex. It is easy to find as it is next to a BP Garage on the 21 bus route. The interior was spacious and provided everything right down to a coffee maker. The bedroom had a wardrobe and dressing table and decent bed and good shutters and curtains for black out. I got clean towels. There were 2 balconies in the flat and more outside, a view of the turquoise sea at the front, and fields and distant mountains at the back, with balcony furniture on both and a drying area at the back. Floral plants adorn the surrounding garden. The beach was across the road: water sport ( wind sailing) and paid sunloungers at the front, and a public beach a short walk left with changing cubicles and a basic shower. There was a nice nearby cafe to the left with delicious sandwiches etc and fancy, very indulgent cakes, not to mention amazing coffee and a small shop for groceries behind. I really liked swimming at Calamari Beach. I liked everything, but there is a rather busy road to the front at the bottom of the large yard. This is handy with the bus stop next to the place, but detracts from the beautiful view of the sea. However, the pristine mountain view from the back compensates, and you sea the sea from the front nonetheless. As reflected in the price, the open plan kitchen is basic and not fitted. There seemed not to be running hot water in the shower too. Nonetheless, everything is fairly functional and suffices. 2 people could manage well, even on a quite long stay.

Equipements de plage à disposition. appartement très mal nettoyé, douche minuscule, mauvaise pression d'eau, WI-FI inexistant dans la chambre, et de très mauvaise qualité dans le séjour. On entend fort la route avec les fenêtres ouvertes. Murs mal insonorisés.

• Myroslava (10/5): Just perfect - If you are still in doubt whether to book this apartment - book it. The location is perfect! To get to the beach you just need to cross the road and here you are. Nikolas is a very nice person, helped us in all matters, allowed us to leave things for some time after check-out. The room had two balconies! One overlooking the garden and the other overlooking the sea. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. In late August and early September it is very warm, but not stuffy, we never even used the air conditioner, although it was in the room. The apartment has everything - its own kitchen with kettle, microwave, coffee maker, stove, pans and all the necessary utensils. There is a dining table inside. The bed is comfortable. Hair dryer, iron, towels and everything you need is available. There is a store 2 minutes away that sells everything you need, coffee and breakfast items, also nice souvenirs. Not far away is an auto rental. For the price you pay you get a very convenient location, beautiful views and a quiet vacation. Thank you for an unforgettable 6 days, we will be back again!

• Irene (9/5): - Appartamento molto carino e in una bellissima posizione. Davanti alla spiaggia e con supermercati e fermate dell’autobus vicini. Si arriva facilmente anche a Chania. Ma la cosa migliore è la gentilezza e la disponibilità del proprietario. Veramente fantastico!

• Andreea (10/5): Typical greek apartment place equiped with the essentials, with a good location, great host and beautiful garden. - The garden was very beautiful and was located very close (5-10 min walk) to 3 mini markets and varied beaches (both sandy and rocky). Nikos (the landlord) was extremely nice (even for a Greek host), helpful and is very hardworking. The apartment does not have the latest facilities, as expected at the price point. The apartment is in line with most greek apartments.

• Konstantinos (1/5): Απαράδεκτο - Η τοποθεσία ήταν καλή. Λίγο έξω από το κέντρο ώστε να έχει ησυχία, αλλά ήθελες όχημα οπωσδήποτε για να βγεις το βράδυ στη χώρα. Σε κοντινή απόσταση όλες οι μεγάλες αλυσίδες σούπερ μάρκετ. Είχε στάση λεωφορείου ακριβώς απέξω. Είχε πάρκινγκ αλλά σε χωματόδρομο. Το δωμάτιο ήταν τρομερά βρώμικο και σε κακή κατάσταση. Τρίχες και σκουπίδια στο πάτωμα. Το μπάνιο πολύ μικρό γεμάτο μούχλα και το νερό δεν είχε καθόλου πίεση, προσπαθούσες μισή ώρα να κάνεις ένα ντουζ. Μύριζε μούχλα και κλεισούρα. Είχε μιρμιγκια που έβγαιναν από τις κασες της πόρτας. Ρωτήσαμε και μας είπαν ότι δεν υπάρχει room service αλλά ούτε καθαρίστρια. Δεν καθάριζαν ποτέ. Ξοδέψαμε τη πρώτη μέρα των διακοπών για να καθαρίσουμε το δωμάτιο. Το αναφέραμε αλλά είπαν πως δεν μπορεί να γίνει κάτι καθώς δεν έχουν καθαρίστρια και πως καθαρίζουν ανα 5 μέρες. Επίσης η απάντηση ήταν πως "σε άλλα ξενοδοχεία δεν καθαρίζουν καν". Το ψυγείο είχε ψίχουλα από τους προηγούμενους και μύριζε άσχημα. Τα κρεβάτια πολύ άβολα. Η είσοδος από τον δρόμο προς τα δωμάτια ήταν από κακό χωματόδρομο.

Egy kicsit dohos szag volt. De sokkal drágább apartmanok sokkal gyengébb minőségűek, így maximálisan elégedett vagyok.

• Jessica (8/5): great value for this price! i recommend - perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops around it. beach right across the street. two balconies are very cool, one towards the busy street & one towards the quiet back (not in every apartment though). air conditioning works very well and fast as it's definitely essential in the bedroom. the whole house is in very cute greece aesthetics and the staff was very friendly! the shower is very small, you could barely move. the kitchen is missing some essentials (cutting board, ladle, spatula, baking paper, some spices & oil, ..). some things weren't cleaned thoroughly (mirror in the bedroom, shower tiles, couch cover, ..).

• Zlata (9/5): Nikolas apartments review - I liked the location, close to the nice beach, relatively close and easy to aproach the city. I liked the spacious apartmant and the two balconies. There were enough schops and restaurants nearby. The host was kind and helpful. I didn't like the noise from the traffic on the mein street, thougt the apartment were not just by the street. There were a big garden between the house and the street, but anyway it was pretty nousy for me.

• Ελενη (10/5): Great vacation! - The appartment was excellent with comfortable beds and the kitchen was well equipped with all the basic utensils, Mr. Nicolas and his mother Mrs Katerina were so kind and helpful. There are mini markets and restaurants around and a bus stop outside the hotel unit. It is close to some of the best beaches of the area.
• Senorita_krisztina (8/5): I had a wonderful stay at Nikolas - The sandy beach is very close. The house is located not directly at the main road, so you can not hear the noise of the traffic. The bedroom is facing the back side of the house, so is just super to sleep. The local bus stop is just in front of the apartmans. The cleanliness was not good enough, there was hair in the bathroom and some spider nets, I guess the apartman was not used before for a longer time. Water pressure is low, takes longer time to take a shower.
• Elena (9/5): Superb - The location is prime - very close to Chania (I recommend taking a bus to see the old town of Chania, it is cheap and frequent and you don't have to worry about impossible parking in Chania). There is a lot of public beach area just across the road. Nikolas the host, and his Mom Katerina are the best. Very friendly, always ready to accommodate your needs, and helpful with advice. They are wonderful.

The location offers good value for money considering the paid price. Do not expect luxury, but it has everything you need. The garden is beautiful and the location is great, the beach is right across the street and the sea is well visible from the rooms.

• Janet (3/5): Poor - These are budget apartments, so expect basic, simple accommodation. Clean sheets and towels provided. Bedroom adequately furnished. Access to Chania is v good, using public transport and Nikolas is v helpful with information about the area - supermarkets, restaurants etc. The apartment hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. I needed to sweep and wash floors on arrival. The shower and toilet area was v tired and needed updating. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet and the shower / floor needed a clean before use. The kitchen area is large and adequate, but again, v tired, and it had not been cleaned adequately. We didn't feel the description accurately reflected the property. We booked 3 nights and left after 1 night.

• Christopher (5/5): Needs some TLC.. - Location was very good. Ocean view. Great breeze blowing through apartment most days. Clothes line on back balcony. Just make sure to secure with the pins or items will blow away.... Nearby market for needed items. Many restaurants close by. Pita Grill was very good and just down from market. Facilities not maintained well. Moldy shower curtain bottom. Water from shower runs into bath floor. Marginal cleaning at best. Sheets and towels were clean though. Rudimentary maintenance of room.
• Sergey (10/5): Exceptional - A really good location - BlueFlag class beach is 100 meters away, where some expensive hotels located (and care about it), so you have access to some unfrastructure for free. LIDL is in 20 minutes walk, Pitagrill or Kakamaki restaurants- 5 minutes, busses to a city runs every 15 minutes(20 minutes ride) , and bus stop is in the front of property. Nikolas is extremely friendly owner he does everything for a pleasant stay. Real value for singles/couples/family Beware front doors! Newer forget key inside! All the other - its nothing to complain

We had everything we wanted! - Excellent location (with all the infrastructure nearby), with a gorgeous, perfectly maintained garden, an exceptional view from the terrace at sunrise, a few minutes to the beach and the rare hospitality of Nico and his mother. Thank you, dear hosts! We had a great time at your place! All the time and everywhere there can be room for better. We got, however, what we expected: quiet, pleasant atmosphere, exceptional view, warmth of the hosts. What would be fantastic, is to get rid of the multitude of cables hanging in the air in front of the sea view (in general, moving all the infrastructure to the basement would be a great addition to the micro-area).

• Andrea (6/5): Pleasant - location, comfortable bedding Host asks for data like your full address and job title stating that this info is needed from this year and will be written on the receipt. I haven’t got any receipt and this isn’t my first time in Greece this year so this isn’t true. Room is clean and cleaned every 3 days however the trash bin in the bathroom will be emptied only every 3 days. As you cannot throw toilet paper in the toilet it is normally emptied everyday. I haven’t been to a place before where it’s not emptied everyday.

Next to the sea - The host is a most dedicated nice man, who responds immediately and solve any issue or request efficiently. The apartment was meticulously cleaned, and the location is great if privacy is what important to you. Very close to the sea. Big fully furnished balcony facing the sea on the second floor. Parking. Next to the building is a beautiful garden of the owners residence.
• Otilia (8/5): Very good - Very close to all amenities:beach, shops, farmacy. Bus stop towords Chania just in front of the property with bus 21 and 15 going to Chania city - 20 min away(Trovit app will show you the bus time schadule throughout the day and the stops along the route). The appartment has an open kitchen with a sofa (and all you need for cooking that work very well) and a balcony plus the bedroom + second balcony. Overall a very good space for 2 pple. The owner Nicolai and his mum are very helpful, kind and always ready to go the extra mile for guests. I cannot thank enought for his kind approach as mum had some back pains and he brought an extra soft mattress. It is nothing fancy, but all you require is there + TV in the bedroom. 🙂

• Aleksandra (9/5): Good value for price - The apartment is very well equipped. Owner very helpful and direct. Perfect location. Parking under the roof. One of beds was pretty used and uncomfortable.
• Valentina (10/5): Exceptional - Nikolas and his mum are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, only few minutes from the beach. Shops and restaurants are five minutes walk. Bus station is 30 seconds walk. So really good value for money.
• Atasheva (8/5): Good place to stay - Nikolas and his mother were very welcoming and answered all our questions prior and during our stay. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a longer stay, though you should not expect anything luxurious. Furniture and utensils are old but the place is kept clean. The best thing is that if you rent a car you can park it for free in the property parking lot. You can easily get to the Chania city center by public bus 21 as the bus stop is just in front of the property. If you prefer to skip driving, then go to the beach - it is really across the road. A few minutes walk you can find other beaches too. I overall liked the place, but one thing bothered us a few nights - the neighbors, they came home late and spoke loudly, that was heard like it is in our room and woke us up. The building is not soundproofed at all, so if you sleep light - take some earplugs just in case. Aaand, yes, be prepared for mosquitoes' attack when you park your car!

• Peter (8/5): Very good - Very clean, in a quiet location close to the beach and the bus stop for buses to Chania. Large apartment with two terraces, a cooker and fridge, lots of hot water. Great price. Nice friendly owner I was going to give this place a review score of 10 but instead I gave a generous 8, because on the day of checking out, we were woken at 09:30 hours by the owner knocking on the door to tell us that the check out time was 09:00 hours. My girlfriend was not at all happy. I showed the owner that check out time is stated between 09:00 - 12:00 hours on his booking.com profile. I have since written to booking.com to ask that they speak to him about this and change the check out time if necessary.

Nikos is very hospitable and kind and the apartment is too clean. The hygiene is at a high level, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I recommend this place 100 %
