Guest Reviews
- Amanda (10/5): - Very cosy and well appointed Parking is a pain
- Lucy (10/5): After losing both my parents at Christmas within 4 years of each other it provided the perfect family Christmas getaway - The cottage was located perfectly and the interior decoration was beautiful . Little short on comfy chairs for a family of 5 adults and 2 children . However the sofa and snuggle chair were very comfy.
- Brook (10/5): Great house, central location. - Great house in a great location. Very comfortable beds and incredibly responsive hosts. Would definitely stay again.
- Andy (9/5): Great week - Location One bathroom
- Laura (10/5): -

- John (9/5): Comfortable, stylish house in a superb, quiet location - Great location right in the centre of Swanage. Close to the beach, shops and railway station.
- Claire (8/5): Very good - great location and lovely cottage Parking wasn't great
Doors need new locks
- Gail (10/5): Beautiful cottage - Fantastic location. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Wonderfully clean. Nice and cosy and added bonus of a lovely hamper pack and beautiful Christmas tree in the lounge. An extra sofa in the lounge would have been good as only one large sofa and chair, so the fifth family member had to sit on a chair from the dining table.
- Amanda (10/5): Swanage was sunny and Jazz Festival was an unexpected pleasure! - Location was brilliant. Decor cool and beds were really comfortable! Nothing
- Simon (10/5): Great place for a family holiday - Excellent location close to beach, shops all amentities Parking hit and miss, no allocated spot.
Plenty pay and display close to property.
- Johanna (10/5): Lovely - Lovely house, very well equipped. Plenty of space and felt very homely. Sleeping in the front bedroom there was quite a lot of noise from the street, you could hear everything.
- Alex (9/5): Superb - How close it was to town and housed all 7 NA
- Timothy (9/5): It was a pleasure coming home after a days walking and collapsing into the sofa. We all looked forward to returning. The - It was really comfortable and homely. Only one shower was a problem, could be solved by adding an ensuite to the front or top bedroom.
- David (8/5): Nice place, clean and great location - Great location and lovely house Not much
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (10/5): fantastic holiday stay - ticked all the boxes, we would stay again! - lovely property, fantastic location and very cosy. The owners had great communication about the stay. The information pack sent in advance was also very helpful. parking is not great, but we were well aware of this beforehand.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Great location,excellent facilities.
Problem with hot water on Sunday afternoon.
One phone call to host and plumber arrived within half an hour and resolved the issue. Great service and very friendly staff on call. This is a comment rather than a complaint but there was no non-slip bath mat,
- Sue (9/5): Great family holiday in a lovely cottage in a perfect location. - Good quality furnishing excellent facilities. Not enough seating in the living area.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely well presented holiday cottage with everything you need and more with a central location in Swanage. The only draw back was that overflowing bins in the back garden. lack of loo roll and hand soap.
Also the down stair bathroom sink was blocking at times.
- Sue (8/5): Pretty, well furnished cottage with courtyard, a very pleasant stay - A sweet well furnished cottage near the front and a good supermarket 5 mins walk away. more comfy seating. Parking is a nightmare in Swanage.
- Philip (8/5): Home from home, very comfortable. Our young grand daughter was delighted with the books/toys. - Pre- holiday communication was excellent , flexibility for early entry was a real bonus thankyou. Plenty of information as required in e-mail sent before we travelled, very useful thankyou. Close parking is a problem ,however, loading/unloading from Eldon Terrace (as suggested) was very convenient.
- Carolyn (8/5): it was lovely for the four days we were there - cosy, and south facing patio
neighbours very friendly loo brushes needed changing
another sofa needed - as only 5 comfy seats for 7 people
- Aafje (9/5): Superb - really nice interior design
- Kristina (9/5): Cozy cottage with Swanage at your doorstep! - Location to the seafront in Swanage and the train station was great, everything we needed was at our doorstep. The cottage was comfy, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. It was well appointed, decorated to a high standard and had a lovely outdoor space. Nothing really, it's a shame there is only one shower, but in an older cottage there isn't much you can do about that. The rest of the property more than made up for it.
- Gerald (10/5): couldn’t have asked for more - everything
- Paul (9/5): had a lovely 3 night stay here - location was excellent. only problem is parking as very restricted. the single bedroom is very small.
- T (8/5): Very good -
- Lesley (8/5): Very good - Welcome pack was very good far more than you normally expect to receive. The lock box for keys was tricky to close, no outside light making it difficult to use at night.
Although the property was lovely unfortunately with young children that prefer to sit on the floor the were covered in dog hair, we also had to turn the cushions over in the sofa & chairs due to dog hair. Think they need to use a specialist hoover to remove the dog hair. Also although welcome pack states we can control heating via Nest. It was on a timer and came on late at night and went off in early morning. So we could not put it on in the evenings making the downstairs area pretty chilly to sit & watch TV.
- Fiona (8/5): It was very good wonderful beds - The parking was an issue as nothing close for disabled parking . Apart from that it was excellent
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay so close to beach etc we didn't need the car! - The proximity to local amenities. The furnishings, furniture, equipment was all of excellent quality and standard. The only thing that let the holiday down was the weather! After long weeks of sunshine in UK, the weather broke while we were away. The staircase into the loft. It was difficult to access the top floor and great care is required when climbing these stairs.
- Moodylongshanks (10/5): Beautiful cottage, excellent location - Location was excellent, cottage felt like home from home! Nothing!
- Matthew (10/5): Lovely cottage in a great location - loads of space, clean and lovely decor. Highly recommended. - Lovely cottage in a great location - loads of space, clean and lovely decor. Highly recommended.
