- Laura (9/5): - Great location and all facilities needed for an apartment. Our 2nd stay, would go back again if going to York. Got the York pass and most attractions were within walking distance. 1st stay was at Christmas and the lights out of the window were lovely. Need to repair kitchen floor. As expected with a busy city location noisy with windows open, fine with windows and plastic shutter thing down.
- Guest (10/5): It was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it. - The location was lovely, it was a very beautiful flat and you can tell the host has put a lot of thought into this accommodation. There was an ironing board but no iron. The sofa was also not facing the TV so it was a bit awkward when watching TV.

- Laura (9/5): Great flat, perfect location for shambles/cathedral. - Fantastic location. Xmas lights out the window were magical. No big issues at all, really enjoyed our stay. Couldn't find a coffee decanter for the coffee. No vinegar or hot chocolate. A tiny Christmas tree on the table in December /January would have topped it off.

- Ian (7/5): Lovely stay in a v well located apartment with easy access to the Shambles and middle of York. - Fantastic location only a short walk to the middle of town Well appointed kitchen that had everything we needed Partial view of Clifford's Tower Good heating system! Good hot shower Didn't find the bed/pillows v comfortable Noise from the road with a nearby pub & bus station woke us up. Wind noise through the original windows also kept us up Sofa quite stained

All amenities included made for a great stay in what was a very clean, very modern apartment. Emily provided clear instructions in advance of arrival making finding and accessing the apartment very easy. I have visited York many times and this is the best property I have stayed at. Would highly recommend!

- Peter (5/5): Charming and secure old building just a short walk to York's attractions - Keypad entry. Very central for attractions. Good kichen units and appliance. Elegant public hallways. Nice raindrop shower. Welcome pack bottle of wine,coffee and tea. Two flights of stairs and no lift created difficulties with luggage and regular access.Kept awake at times by noisy pub patio and university bus stop very close and street is a main throughfare for pedestrians and revellers. Only 3 cups meant dishwasher not used. No breadknife. Shower glass leak at bottom had led to unsightly repair and mould and water damaged basin unit footing. Bed and pillows not very comfortable. Lounge floorboards creaked badly. Bedroom sash window poor state and fixed secondary pane required constant fan in hot weather. Lounge sash had to be propped open to vent room. All TV purely internet based and no freeview.

- Graham (10/5): Walmgate - 1. Nice, comfortable apartment. 2. Good location, within the city walls. 3. Quiet. No car traffic or noisy neighbours. No free to air TV. You have to use Google, which I couldn't be bothered to fiddle with.
