- Joshua (9/5): Delightful and aesthetically pleasing. - Views from windows were incredibly scenic, location was great, not too far from commodities like tesco express, was very clean Tv remote didn’t work well
- Kalem (1/5): Absolutely disgusting don’t book - Nothing Everything we didn’t end up staying first of all we were shocked when we turned up at how the place look an the filth on the way to the apartment door there was no key in the box we were told to use, when we finally got a key we opened the door and then ended up leaving straight away! We had to book and go else where. It was Absolutely disgusting the whole place stunk of Cannabis an it’s not as clean as the pictures make it look & the outside an surroundings of the apartment is enough to put anyone off which they don’t show a pictures of the building now I know why.
The hall ways a stairs to the apartment was filthy rubbish all over.
I tried to cancel which I would of got some money back as the cancellation fee wasn’t the whole amount of the booking but there was also an option to request the cancellation fee to be waived which i obviously tried to do! Which got declined even after the pictures I sent. They said they wouldn’t refund cause we decided not to stay! So I haven’t even been refunded the other part which I should of got refunded for cancelling, But I am sorry there was no way we could stop there we had children with us too, we couldn’t stay breathing in the cannabis smell all weekend and stay in those conditions. So for them to refuse even the refund of the normal fee id get for cancelling is ridiculous.
- Elizabeth (3/5): Poor -
- Magee (7/5): Good - Nice apartment but looked dodgy outside It was OK
- Sumayah (7/5): Good - The rooms were a bit dusty
- Waleed (4/5): Disappointing -
- Heather (10/5): Fun! - Was stunning inside Communal hall was not the most welcoming but inside the property was amazing
- L (3/5): Not great, wish we knew better before - Shower and WiFi worked fine, inside the apartment is okay.
Lovely meet and greet from the guy downstairs- aka building security Jamie. The apartment stunk of weed and smoke, do not open the storage cupboard as it stinks of weed and the smell lingers. Inside has had a lick of paint etc to make it look nice on the surface but some of the windows didn't close and it's in a rough block of flats. The stairway up to it is stinking, pretty sure there was s**t smeared on the floor leading to the room (see photo). The stairway stinks of weed and we were a bit nervous about coming home late to it and if the cars would be okay. (Cars were okay though).
Same issues as other, the inside looks nice but not fitted out for 6 people as advertised. Not enough plates, chairs etc. No lightbulbs still in one of the bed room lights, only one lamp light.
On our last day there the owners son turned up unannounced to replace the broken kitchen chairs (we didn't break them and hadn't complained). It was around 3pm and we were usually out by that time, so they were clearly just going to let themselves in without letting us know?!
They shouldn't be renting places like this out. It's clearly a low income area where people need affordable housing, and they've taken one of the few places away to charge a month's rent for a few days stay. Wish we knew better before booking.
- Danielle (9/5): Superb - The appartment was clean,,nice an comfy, had everything we needed..beds were nice an clean..the hallway upto the appartment was not that nice tho was abit of putting...apart from that are stay here was good.. The hallways upto to the appartment,
- Naomi (9/5): Convenient & Neat Place to Stay Near Glasgow - Lovely quiet little apartment, extremely clean and comfortable and super convenient for Glasgow.
- Miles (1/5): Nice apartment, but in a disgusting block. - Apartment itself was nice inside. The apparent is in a very poor block, very dirty communal areas.
Sick on the stairs, stained carpets absolutely disgusting.
- Sarah (1/5): Do not stay here!!! - Nothing. The surrounding area was the pits, looked like a prison. Your vehicle would get robbed outside the flats, They are not apartments at all, they are a block of grubby flats. Disgusting and dirty. Definitely a rough area and wouldn't trust staying here.
- Linda (7/5): Was comfortable enough, just needs a few bits to make this more practical. - The property inside was lovely. Nicely decorated and lots of homely touches.
Close to parks and shops. Wasn’t aware it was 3 floors up, interior was definitely better than the exterior.
Sleeps 6 but only four dining chairs. Two x 2 seater sofa not big enough for five….8 cups, 4 bowls, 3 side plates. 5 x 1/2 pint glasses, no wine glasses, 2 tumblers. Not enough for five of us. (Definitely would be tight for six)
One dining chair had lost bolt rendering it usable only with care.
Spare pillows but no pillowcases.
Several lights did not work & no replacements available, so no light in downstairs bedroom. Two lamps didn’t even have bulbs in. So things looked nice, but not the things you need on a break. Loads of candle holders but no candles
No corkscrew. No washing up liquid.
2 toilet rolls for two days…. Not nearly enough.
The cupboard (storing ironing board etc) was absolutely reeking of smoke/cigarettes.
- Mcgraw (10/5): Great apartment really is a wolf in sheep’s clothing - The Woodside apartment was really comfortable ideally situated as I had family nearby would highly recommend for anybody that wants a stay In Coatbridge great value for money if visiting again would definitely rebook Nothing
Some people may not like the look of the outside
- Cambell (8/5): Really good value - lovely place to stay for a weekend. - Really lovely house- clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Perfect for what we were after and very good value. Decent places to eat nearby and perfect location to get to Tollcross International Swimming and Leisure Centre (we were up for a badminton competition). Free parking right outside - we took 2 cars between us. The building in which the house is in is a bit rough but this really wasn't an issue - more its surprising how nice the house is from the outside! The kitchen is equipped for 4 people rather than 6.
- Ryszard (10/5): Exceptional -
