• Carlos (4/5): - Nos trasladaron a Lava Apartments, donde lo positivo fue: Ubicación buena con todo lo necesario cerca, como supermercados y puntos de interés. Aparcamiento en la misma entrada, aunque cuando se complete tendrás que ponerlo en Parking de pago también cerca (gratis de 16:00 a 10:00). Nos trasladaron por reformas dos días antes a Lava Apartments, donde lo negativo fue: Una de las camas es sofá cama, donde el somier brilla por su ausencia y se hunde completamente con un colchón muy blando, por lo que dormirás de todo menos recto y cómodo. Cada vez que alguien cerraba la puerta principal del edificio se movía la de nuestro apartamento haciendo ruido. El mando de la TV no tenía pilas. No había jabón en las duchas y el secador prácticamente no tenía fuerza.

• Klemenz Hrafn (7/5): A nice spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood - It's a nice spacious apartment, with a full kitchen. The price was very attractive, and it is positioned in a very quiet and nice neighborhood. We only needed a place to stay for a night, but this would also have been wonderful for a longer stay. We booked the day before arrival, and maybe that's the reason why we didn't get check-in instructions. So we had to call them late in the night. But they did pick up quickly and resolve the issue, but we had children sleeping in the car while I was on the phone walking around the house trying to find the correct entrance and keybox. Also they accepted my request for a free cot for our little one, but when we arrived there was none, and when I read the message itself, not just the subject of the email for request approved, I saw that they would "try to accommodate the request". Since we were only staying for one night and chose the apartment because we would arrive late in the night and it would be nice to have a ready keybox and a cot setup so we could just go straight in and straight to bed, but neither of those things came true, my rating is lower than it would have been if we were staying longer. One more thing, which bothers me but probably not everyone, something in their bed linen washing has a lot of fragrance, and the whole apartment smelt of it. Some probably think it's a nice smell, but I prefer eco non-fragrance washing.

• Alejandro (10/5): One of the best stay on Iceland on my 10 days trip. - location was perfect, very close to downtown. Everything was easy , even landford when i saw him on the mainentrance, offered me couple of very deliciuos local beers that i enjoyed after in my dinner. We had great cooking there, very confortable place to relax and continue our journey. The only thing i didnt like was i couldnt stay longer there to enjoy more the place and city, cause i was in rush to finish my journey ,.

• Giulia (9/5): - Appartamento caldo e accogliente con belle vetrate che ci hanno consentito di vedere la nevicata della mattina. Curato e ben servito con tutto il necessario per un breve o duraturo soggiorno. Comoda anche la zona lavanderia. Lavandino bagno piccolo e scomodo.

• Omar (7/5): Bello l’appartamento ma andrebbe curato meglio nei dettagli - L’appartamento è carino e delle dimissioni giuste per 4 persone. Anche se non l’abbiamo sfruttata, buona la possibilità di usufruire della lavanderia. Poca cura nel dettagli sopratutto per quanto riguarda la pulizia. Appena siamo entrati si sentiva odore di cibo cosa non molto gradita.

• ISABELUCHI (9/5): ¡UNA MARAVILLA! - El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en nuestro periplo islandés. Estancias amplias y limpias. El sofá cama donde durmió mi hija enorme y comodísimo. La cama de matrimonio comodísima también. Con armarios y estanterias para mantener ordenada las estancias. Con lavandería!!! nos fue superbien para, después de 10 dias, poder lavar ropa ( lo necesitábamos sin falta!). Cocina completa y con nevera grande. Con televisión también. No está en el centro de la ciudad, pero está en un barrio de casas unifamiliares tranquilo, a media colina. Lo único a mejorar... para acceder al apartamento hay que caminar por un caminito estrecho que bordea la casa principal, con pavimento de piedras gruesas y desniveladas. El camino no es muy largo, pero nos obligó a ir con las maletas elevadas. Este caminito puede ser muy exigente para según que personas.

• Janina (10/5): You'll enjoy your stay! - The view from the kitchen-living room is open and towards the mountains. Loved it! Everything is well though off. The pictures are a bit old, new styling and furnishing are in place. Very spacious, clean, a good variety of cooking supplies. Just a note: No baking paper/foil. The beds are a bit too soft compared to the pillow being a bit too firm making it an uncomfortable/too high combination.

As very very well described in the confirmation mail, the entrance is the the rear part of the house. Very easy to get in, great coat hanger and place for leaving wet shoes. Very spacious apartment, clean and big kitchen with lot of apparels, nice dining place, wonderful living room. Smart tv and superfast wifi. Big bathroom, lot of towels. Very big bedroom with lot of space. Very comfortable sofa bed. Everything was very well equipped for 3 people. Big and wondeful laundy room (we didn't use it but I wish I had it at home, amazing and incredible)! parking spot right in front of the house! Nice nice nice!!! everything was perfect!

The accommodation is kept immaculately and offers all amenities a small group and / or a family might need. Perhaps if there were coffee pods / beans and some other essential cooking supplies .

• Michael (8/5): Nice location easy checkin and access. - Good location and parking. The communications were good and the checkin seamless. Nice to have a kitchen, note large refrigerator but no freezer which want a big deal. Two things to fix. The main bedroom door was very noisy when opened. Consider having the sofa bed in the living room space. Its current location is very tight for two couples as you must walk around the bed to get to the main bedroom and the bathroom. No privacy for the fold out bed. Minor things it’s a nice place to stay!

• Irene (9/5): Cosy stay at very reasonable price - Due to a very heavy snowstorm we got stuck for 3 nights in another accomodation. We therefore couldn't check in on the agreed date. The accomodation was nice enough to move some things around so we could stay with them 1 day later than planned. That was very gracious! The apartment itself was cosy, had a great kitchen and a very usefull laundry room. I can definitely recommend staying here. We had a bit of trouble finding the box with the keys as we didn't realise we had to walk around the house to the back. However, I gave them a call and they answered immediately and within 5 minutes we were inside the apartment.

We didn't expect it at all :) This is a charming apartment in the heart of Akureyri, with lots of space and beautiful furniture. • Filippo (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was excellent and clean. Fully equipped. Parking in front of the house. It's 20min walk to downtown, not too bad if it ain't raining. Town itself is lovely and the neighborhood is very nice. Sofa bed was not too comfortable. We slept there to let the kids a bit more darkness in the bedroom and my back suffered this choice. :)

• Tina (10/5): A wonderful place to stay! - This was a great apartment! It was very clean, had nice beds, kitchen, living area and bathroom. It also had a washing machine which was a huge bonus for us. There is no dryer, but there is a clothes line in the washing room and that room is quite warm, so all our clothes dried overnight. The lock box for the unit is in back of the building. That is where the entrance is also...on the back side. I knew that to some extent, but we were trying to get the keys from the front lock box which was not correct. Someone came along to help us. They were very nice. It might be nice to have a sign near the front lock box that says to go around to the back of the house to find the other unit.
• Joan (8/5): Cozy house. - The house looks perfect outside, living room is big, you can cook food and do laundry, very convenient. Location is easy to find, we walked to garden and downtown. Bathroom sink seems old, smell is wired.

• Lydia89 (9/5): Superb - The apartment is very spacious and the bedroom is dark to sleep, It's clean and tidy. It's in a residential neigjborhood with walking trails and playgrounds. The kitchen is well equipped. There was no clear instruction about where the entrance is and not enough toilet paper for us to use! It was a bit far from the city center but not a big deal for us.
