• Nik (8/5): - Location was great. Good sized rooms. Parking was a real pain at the top of Jacobs Ladder. Hate having fire doors in every room, we're not students. Kitchen facilities were adequate.
• Andrea (9/5): Lovely place in a convenient location - The flat was clean and well equipped. The staff response was fast, friendly and helpful. It would be great to have hooks in the bathroom for towels and clothes. Also the living room window looking to the public pathway would benefit from some privacy window film, as you have to keep the curtains closed.
• Petra (10/5): Amazing location and our apartment had everything we needed to make our stay in Oban perfect. - Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The location was excellent with restaurants, stores and the harbour a block away. Communication was also quick which we appreciated. We were also able to rent e-bikes and go over to Kerrera Island for a beautiful ride seeing a castle on one end and having a nice beer at the other end.

• Martha (9/5): Apartment was comfortable in a good location. - Location was perfect for our distillery tour and the boat trip to the islands. One of the switches to the hot water tank was turned off so hubby had a cold shower. We found the switch in a closet with the tank and turned it on. We had hot water the next morning.
• John (8/5): Very good - Nice central location. Use car park next to apartment, parking is free after 6 pm. Need privacy blind as everyone using stairs to the folly can see in the window.
• Samuel (8/5): Great base in Oban close to center of everything, yet quiet for peaceful stay - Perfect location, centrally located in Oban. It is off in a quiet corner street but walking distance to all shops, restaurants and facilities. Plus - next door is the Oban distillery! Very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is very clean, well decorated and fully equipped. Tip - walk up Jacob steps for a birds eye perspective of the city. Highly recommended stay!
• Helen (9/5): Perfect Oban stay to explore lower western Isles - Convenient, clean, spacious for four people, easy access to Oban town centre and ferry to Isle of Mull and other islands. Parking easy although you do have to pay as public car park (not very expensive if time payments) Apartment looks directly into public walkway in living area.

• Johnathan (9/5): Comfortable, convenient and recommended - Great apartment, comfortable and clean in a utilitarian block just behind the Main Street. Very spacious living and cooking area and everything worked fine. Not much to dislike but the building is a bit ugly on the outside. Also all the doors are fire does that slam closed heavily. Good for safety but gets annoying.
• Gregory (8/5): Very decent accomadation for people who are non fussy about some finer details - Great location, good price, very clean and easy to get to. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were very comfortable. Was very warm, would be great to have some fans so people can use if needed. We had three guests but only towels for two so had to go buy some from Tesco.

• Nadia (9/5): Smart and Convenient - Smartly furnished, comfortable apartment Very central Basic amenities were provided Easy access Good amount of storage space Blinds or shutters would have been nice for the windows as well as the curtains, particularly in the living room, as the windows looked directly onto a public path. We ended up having to keep the curtains closed most of the time for privacy, which left the apartment quite dark. The room with the super-king bed also smelled slightly musty, as if it hadn’t been aired in a while.

• Neil (7/5): Great location and comfortable. - The property was close to town centre. It was clean and had very comfortable beds. The decor was modern and once we put the heating on, the apartment heated up quickly and was cosy. Bedroom 1had a damp smell. Otherwise it was great.

It was a great base. The two sofas were uncomfortable the back rests were very low and angled which didn't help our older backs. Very trendy and stylish however; No real support for us folk that are slightly older.

• Amanda (9/5): Excellent location - A very quiet spot in an excellent location for the main facilities in Oban. Comfortable bed and good shower room. Beautiful weather! Took ages to find the apartment by car. The Google map on the booking.com app kept sending us up the hill behind the apartment block. Instructions to the adjacent car park would have been helpful. Stained carpet in hallway could do with replacing.
• Joanne (4/5): Poor customer service - don’t use this company - This apartment is managed by a company called West Holidays. Despite listing 71 properties and having three directors, at least one person to answer queries and presumably local cleaning staff, they were unable to find anyone in the West of Scotland to provide a hairdryer (missing on arrival) with 24 hours’ notice. They also blamed the previous guest for the hairdryer being missing but I can see here that two other people have also commented on this. A money-making enterprise and no more. We won’t be booking with them again.
• Anne (8/5): Lovely clean modern apartment in the heart of Oban. - It was self catering apartment. Well equipped, clean and modern. It had been updated and had some ornamental touches that made it feel less like a holiday apartment. The beds and pillows were very comfortable so had restful nights. 2 mins walk from Oban front so couldn't have been better located. The agent website said it had a hairdryer but it wasn't supplied. The apartment is located next to the distillery and where Jacobs ladder starts. The living room window was beside the steps and people walking up and down the stairs could look straight into the apartment.
• Alison (8/5): Weather was superb and we enjoyed every minute. - The location was very good as it is central and the flat very comfortable, furnished to a good standard. Beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is finished to a high spec. I appreciate that due to location the view from all rooms is disappointing but some clearing and planting at the rear would help.Crockery and glasses are very limited and no hair drier was found.
