- David (10/5): Relaxing comfortable warm - Excellent location
- Susan (10/5): A beautiful property in an amazing remote location. - Perfect property in a perfect location. Well resourced and very comfortable.
Beautiful views of the countryside and hills x It was all perfect
- James (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed it but you need a car! - The property was spacious, clean and very, very remote, which suited us down to the ground. Plenty of walking routes surrounding it and cracking views during the day and brilliant for star gazing at night. Well equipped, and very well run. Some won’t like the slightly rough drive up, which goes on for a bit. I didn’t mind as it meant I was heading somewhere remote - just my thing - but some may be put off by it. To be clear, the rough bit seems to be a shared farm road and has tarmac but just quite a few potholes etc. but as soon as you hit the Crookhouse sign, it’s smooth sailing, aside from a few cattle grids, so wouldn’t lay the ‘rough road’ blame at the owners feet, who obviously can’t help the length. Also be aware they require you to leave your dog in the utility room overnight. This wasn’t made clear before arrival and I don’t know many dogs that would adjust to this so be aware.
- Cali (10/5): Perfect, can’t wait to return - Beautiful location, beautiful accommodation Nothing
- Ange (10/5): A warm relaxing break for both me and my husband - Stayed in the Dipper this year as a last minute change from Beaumont that we stayed in last year, but it was a delightful cottage, all on one floor everything conveniently to hand.
- Katharine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annette (10/5): Amazing would definitely return - Spectacular Views and beautiful cottage
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Loesje (10/5): Brilliant place to explore wonderful part of Northumberland - Spectacular position. Should have been warned about the very long single track drive up the hill .
- Rosalyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - So quiet, peaceful and the views are amazing! We liked being in the middle of no where! Th8s place is beautiful because of it's remoteness. Don't stay here if you want to walk into the village for a coffee, it's a long walk!
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful cottage in a very peaceful and relaxing location with great wildlife and views. Spotlessly clean and a welcome pack included which was a lovely surprise. Brilliant time .. thank you x Nothing
- Mark (10/5): Brilliant stay, will be back. - The view and the interior. The little welcome gift was a nice touch! Having to go home!
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Great location, lovely cottage, amazing shower and very comfy bed! Nothing - it was everything I expected and more.
- Roger (8/5): Very peaceful countryside location with a great pub at the end of the road! - Spacious, well equipped, very good internet, warm and comfy. Very secluded and peaceful. Included all the important essentials like tea/coffee/sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets. Nice welcome gift too! We liked everything and would stay again.
- Lewis (10/5): I would stay in a tent for that view! - The location - outstanding! No inclosed garden (very minor point)
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location, waking up to that scenery every morning was a joy.
Lovely comfy cosy cottage in a perfect location to chill out. Not a sound apart from the birds & sheep. Nothing to dislike
- Paul (9/5): Enjoyable and in a lovely area for visiting the many attractions around the borders. - Remote but a lovely area. Cottage was clean and spacious with all necessary equipment and the front of the house had fabulous views. Loved the property but wouldn’t have like to have attempted the very long trek up to the cottages with a small car.
- Dw132 (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful cottage/farm house in an unbelievable location. Kitchen and dining facilities superb. Modern and spacious whilst retaining its original rustic charm. Well heated (we stayed between Christmas and New Year). Very remote location. Only minor issue was the wifi/broadband. Presumably due to the location. The Internet speed is only OK for receiving WhatsApp messages/slowly loading simple Web pages. Impossible to stream any videos and I would suggest it would be almost impossible to work from this location.
- Ange (9/5): We had a fantastic trip, the isolation of the cottage suited us perfectly and having snow gave us postcard views - The location
- Angela (8/5): Very good - Lovely cottage , well equipt kitchen and utility and had amazing views. Very cosy
