• Georgina (10/5): Glad I came here. - This hotel thinks carefully about every customer touchpoint. We received a wonderful welcome, and our bags were brought to our room. The amenities in the room were lovely as well — a tea set with roasted rice tea, welcome snacks, and bottled water. We also enjoyed a delicious meal served by a very pleasant and courteous staff member, who explained the various dishes and how best to enjoy them. The onsen experience was exceptional, with so many different pools to relax in. What made the end of our stay especially memorable was the hotel staff moving my car to the hotel entrance, allowing us to leave immediately and conveniently. N.A.

• Makoto (9/5): リピート確定！ - 夕食、朝食が美味しかった。夕食は部屋食だったのだが配膳してくださった中居さんの説明、人柄が大変良かった。温泉はゆったりしていて、とてもリラックスできた。お湯も大変良かった。部屋付きのアメニティー(歯ブラシ)は国産が用意されていてとても安心できた。こだわりを感じた。 畳のシミくらいかな。普段は気にならない程度

• Ui Khung Raymond (9/5): Good vibes and experience. - Hotel Onsen was wonderful. Dinner in our room was a great experience. Very good and appetizing meal. Room and decor was old-style ryokan vibe, which was interesting. Buffet breakfast was one of the best Japanese breakfast that we have, with a mixed of western and very nice Japanese choice and spread. Slight complaint only. Room upholstery was a bit worn and stained from wear and tear but does add character to the hotel ambience. Room and facilities are clean and neat though.

• Pattamaporn (9/5): Good stay. - The hotel was in front of the bus station. Clean room, great onsen, good tradition dinner and breakfast. During my sleep I felt hot weather I found out that the heater was turned on . It was a bit too warm that made me woke up. Once I turned it off, everything was fine.

• Annika (4/5): Überteuert uund runtergekommen - Das Hotel und unser Zimmer waren heruntergekommen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Es war das teuerste Hotel auf unserer Reise. Den hohen Preis ist es nicht wert. Wir fühlten uns unwohl in diesem Hotel. Der Onsen-Bereich ist zwar auch in die Jahre gekommen, aber dafür groß, sauber und mit Außenbecken. Das Frühstück könnte für internationale Reisende mehr bieten.

Very close to Hells Valley and Bear Park We did not visit during golden week so some restaurants were closed. We were also there on Tuesday when some restaurants are closed. The Bear Park was closed as well.

• Bryan (10/5): Best onsen I've been to in Hokkaido - The onsen here was AMAZING. I've been to several onsens all over Hokkaido, but this place's onsen was by far the best. It has a lot of variety of baths, including a cold-plunge bath, and also an outdoor onsen. And the onsen space is huge. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful with good English - they take your car and re-park it in a more convenient spot. Location was perfect too, right in the main downtown area. They also have a decent snack and souvenir shop on the first floor. Nothing

• Maximo Ivan (10/5): Perfect location with beautiful room and onsen - Beautiful room with a loot of space. Great experiencie sleeping on the tatami and with the onsen too. The room is like a classical tatami japanese bedroom, exceding my expectations. The onsen in the hotel was really big, with many different pools with different temperatures (38, 40, 42, 43C), one with bubbles and one outside (for me the best one). I liked that the onsen has really thermal waters from the jigokudani valley. Excellent location in front of the bus stop and just 5 minutes walking to the jigokudani valley, the bear park ropeway and all the main attractions.

• Ghent (10/5): A very relaxing stay - We loved our stay at Yumoto Noboribetsu. We were stranded in Sapporo due to a snow storm so we missed our first night. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is fantastic, just in front of the bus depot. The onsen itself is very clean and of course, relaxing, with five types of water available. This was my son's favourite location in Japan 🙂 We will most definitely stay here again if we come back to Norboribetsu!

• Gaëlle (7/5): Un hôtel correct si l’on cherche une option économique, mais avec le recul, j’aurais préféré payer un peu plus pour séjo - L’emplacement est très pratique, juste en face de l’arrêt de bus desservant la gare de Noboribetsu. Le personnel est extrêmement attentionné, toujours souriant et prêt à aider, ce qui rend le séjour agréable malgré les points négatifs. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est varié et de bonne qualité. L’isolation des chambres est insuffisante : on entend facilement les conversations des chambres voisines. L’hôtel et ses équipements sont assez vieillissants, avec notamment des traces d’usure visibles sur les murs et les tatamis, ce qui enlève une partie du charme attendu dans ce type d’établissement. Le onsen n’est pas accessible aux personnes tatouées (pratique courante au Japon, mais important à signaler pour les voyageurs concernés). J’ai donc dû utiliser le onsen d’un autre hôtel, malgré le paiement de la bathing tax pour les deux nuits. Enfin, la douche n’est pas très pratique : le jet est extrêmement fin, ce qui rend la douche peu efficace, même si la pression est présente.

• Cora (8/5): Lovely (but old) hotel - Zhang at the front desk was friendly and helpful, answered all our questions to the best of his ability. Bed-making staff were also super friendly and fast. The outdoor onsen was so refreshing. Room was spacious and clean. Right opposite the bus station so is perfectly located if you are taking the coach to Sapporo. As others have said it is a little on the older side. Some of the staff were a little harder to communicate with. No early check-in possible. Indoor onsen was so steamy it was difficult to navigate.

• Rafał (8/5): Klimatyczny hotel z onsenem - Miejsce z klimatem. Duży pokój w stylu japońskim, maty tatami, futony. Kolacja serwowana do pokoju to było wspaniale doświadczenie. Pan, który przyniósł kolację wszystko dokładnie wyjaśnił, opisał i chętnie odpowiadała na pytania. Onsen w hotelu jest wspaniały. Szkoda, że nie ma możliwości wynajęcia prywatnej wanny w onsen.
