• Gee A Dee (6/5): - Location close to Lerwick facilities. Parking was congested and difficult. Kitchen facilities were limited. Interior furnishings were not good quality for the price we paid especially dining table and bed. Sadly the street was very ugly.

It was thoroughly clean and modern with every appliance that you would need to assist you. The hosts were great, very informative and we found the online guide to the property and surroundings to be excellent and very easy to follow. We were a family of four, two kids aged 9 & 12 and the property suited us very well. Nothing it was all exceptional.

• Roger (9/5): - Location excellent with a short, easy walk to nearby Lerwick shops. For anyone using public transport, the bus station is very close. Parking also easy and free. The apartment is exactly as described and well equipped.

• Bruce (8/5): An excellent option as a base to explore Lerwick. Would definitely recommend. - Neat and tidy with good facilities. Beds were comfortable. Well located too. For us this is preferable to a hotel room. Lounge floor was a bit cold, a rug would make a huge difference.

• mary (8/5): Best accommodation we have had in Shetland. Owners have put a lot of work into making it so! - Very clean, very well equipped, well decorated and spacious. Lovely shower. Warm and light. Views out to Mareel and Hays dock. Near ferry and town. Sofa was low and hard to get out of. No handrail on upper stairs. Wi-Fi access info not up to date. Cutlery drawer concealed. Some simple instructions re unfamiliar kitchen equipment egg would be welcome.

Oh, and thanks for coffee pods :) Struggled to get windows properly open due to blinds, and/or bathroom could do with an extract fan - accept that property is being refurbished so maybe that’s still on the list.
• Roger (9/5): Very comfortable property close to town centre. - Very well appointed and comfortable. Easy access to town centre, museam and arts centre. Communication over gaining access, I had to prompt the owner. Outside space not very inviting, could make more use of the garden.

The apartment was beautifully decorated with all the facilities of a home - and more! We 100% didn't want to leave and of our 6 week trip around Europe was by far our best value stay!
